How do I cancel my subscription?

Last reviewed Oct 7, 2026 by Jeremy Werden

Short answer

To cancel BNBCalc, go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel current plan and finish the steps. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, or the end of your trial, and you won't be charged again. After that, it becomes a free account with no analysis credits left.

How to cancel

  1. Open the sidebar's Settings, then Billing.
  2. Click Manage subscription.
  3. Choose Cancel current plan.
  4. Follow the steps to the end. You may see an offer to stay along the way; accepting one keeps your subscription going on the offered terms, so only finishing the steps cancels it.

Once you've finished, you won't be charged again.

If you're on a Markets trial, BNBCalc first offers to keep the rest of your trial on the Calculator. Click Try Calculator instead (or Switch back to Calculator, if your trial started on the Calculator) to do that, or Continue canceling to cancel completely.

What happens after you cancel

Canceling stops the next renewal; it doesn't cut you off early. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, or until your trial's end date if you're still in a trial, and a trial you cancel is never charged.

Once that date passes, it becomes a free account. Keep in mind that it then has no analysis credits left, and a canceled account can't start another free trial. If you own a team, your members lose their paid access on the same date.

Pausing instead

If you only need a break, monthly plans can pause instead. Under Manage subscription, choose Pause subscription, pick 1 month, 2 months or 3 months, and click Confirm pause. You won't be charged during the pause: your access ends when the current billing period does, and billing restarts on its own once the pause is over, though you can resume early at any time. Yearly plans and trials can't be paused.

If you're on a team

Team owners see Cancellation Request instead of the cancel option. It opens a short form that goes to the BNBCalc team, who handle the cancellation, so nothing is canceled automatically when you submit it. Our terms ask for cancellation requests to arrive at least two working days before a renewal, so send yours early if your renewal date is close.

Team members can't cancel the team's plan, because the owner manages billing. To leave a team you're part of, use Leave Team in Settings → Team, which moves you to a free account straight away.

If something doesn't work

If the cancel button doesn't respond, or you can't find Manage subscription, contact support through Settings → Support, the support form or [email protected], writing from the email address on your account. The same two-working-day notice applies to requests sent by email.

Canceling from the payment screen that appears when a renewal payment fails works a little differently: it stops future renewals, but the payment that already failed is still due and keeps being retried. How do I update my payment method or fix a failed payment? covers that case.

Frequently asked questions

I canceled BNBCalc but still got charged. Why?

Usually the subscription had already renewed before you canceled, or you accepted an offer during the cancel steps, which keeps the subscription going. If a renewal payment had failed before you canceled, that payment is still due and keeps being retried. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge.

Can I pause my BNBCalc subscription instead of canceling?

Yes, on monthly plans. Under Manage subscription, choose Pause subscription and pick 1, 2 or 3 months. You aren't charged and can't use your plan during the pause, which starts when your current billing period ends, and billing restarts on its own afterward. Yearly plans and trials can't be paused.
