How much does a Listing Audit cost, and is one included with my plan?

Last reviewed Oct 21, 2026 by Jeremy Werden

Short answer

A BNBCalc Listing Audit (called Listing Optimizer at checkout) costs $19 for one credit, or $60 for five ($12 each), as a one-time payment with no subscription. Each credit covers one full audit plus two reruns of the same listing. Every paid BNBCalc account gets one credit included, once, and credits don't expire, even if your plan ends.

How much does a Listing Audit cost?

The Listing Audit runs on credits rather than on a subscription, and you buy them in two sizes:

PackPricePer credit
Buy 1$19$19
Buy 5$60$12

Both are one-time card payments priced in US dollars, and neither starts a subscription. Since one credit covers one listing, the five-pack suits co-hosts, property managers and anyone with more than one listing. If you only run one place, one credit and its two reruns will usually cover the before and after.

What does one credit cover?

One credit gets you one full audit of one listing, plus two reruns of that same listing. A rerun is a fresh audit of the listing you already audited, so it's the way to check your grade once you've made the changes.

When a listing still has reruns left, BNBCalc uses a rerun first and your credit balance doesn't move, even though the button still reads Run audit • 1 credit. Once both reruns are used, Run again spends a new credit, which also gives that listing two fresh reruns.

Included reruns always read your live listing. A rerun paid with a credit, on the other hand, may reuse BNBCalc's copy of the listing from the last 24 hours, so if you've just edited the listing and you're paying for the rerun, wait a day before you run it.

Is a Listing Audit included with my BNBCalc plan?

Every paid BNBCalc account gets one credit included, once per account for life. It's added automatically once your paid plan is active, or the next time you open the Listing Audit page if you were already a member. It depends on your account:

Your accountWhat you get
Paid Calculator or Markets planOne included credit, plus any you buy
Team seatOne included credit for that seat's own account. Credits and reports belong to each account, so teammates don't share them.
Free trialNo included credit until the trial converts to a paid plan, when it's added. You can buy credits during the trial.
Free accountNo free audit, but you can buy credits and open the sample report
Plan that has endedYou keep the credits you have and every report you've run, and you can buy more without reactivating

During a trial, the page shows "1 audit is included with your paid plan when your trial ends." Keep in mind that the included credit is once per account for life, so canceling and coming back doesn't add another one.

How do I buy Listing Audit credits?

  1. Open the Listing Audit page. Your balance shows at the top, next to Buy 1 and Buy 5.
  2. Click the pack you want, or click Buy this audit if you've pasted a link and have no credit left.
  3. Pay on the checkout page, which describes the credit as "one full listing report and two reruns of that listing."
  4. You'll come back to the Listing Audit page with "Your Listing Optimizer credits are ready." and any link you pasted still filled in. The audit doesn't start on its own, so make sure to click Run audit.

If you cancel at checkout, you'll see "Checkout canceled. You weren't charged, and your listing link is still here." If you see "Payment may still be processing. Refresh in a moment to update your credit balance.", refresh the page before trying again, because the buy and run buttons stay locked until you do.

What happens to my credit if an audit fails?

If an audit fails, BNBCalc gives back the credit or rerun it used, automatically and straight away. The "Failed" card shows the reason, and for temporary problems it offers Run this audit again. Retrying starts a new run, so it uses a credit or rerun again, which is fine because the failed run's credit has already come back.

Can I get a refund for Listing Audit credits?

BNBCalc's refund policy covers Calculator and Markets plan charges, not Listing Audit credits. For credits, the usual problem is a failed audit, and BNBCalc returns that credit automatically. If something else went wrong with a purchase, such as a charge you don't recognize, email [email protected] from your account's email address with the date, the amount and the last 4 digits of the card, and the team will look into it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a BNBCalc subscription to run a Listing Audit?

No. BNBCalc's Listing Audit runs on credits, not on a plan, so anyone with a free BNBCalc account can buy a credit for $19, or five for $60, and run an audit. Paid members also get one credit included.

Do BNBCalc Listing Audit credits expire?

No. BNBCalc Listing Audit credits don't expire, and if your plan ends you keep both your credits and every report you've run. You can also keep buying credits without reactivating a plan.

Do I get a free Listing Audit during a BNBCalc free trial?

Not during the trial itself. BNBCalc adds your included Listing Audit credit once the trial converts to a paid plan. If you'd like to audit a listing sooner, you can buy a credit during the trial.
