How do I optimize my Airbnb listing with Claude? (BNBCalc MCP)
Last reviewed Nov 4, 2026 by Jeremy Werden
Short answer
Connect the BNBCalc MCP server, then paste your Airbnb listing's link into Claude, Cursor or VS Code and ask for an audit. For one Listing Optimizer credit, BNBCalc runs the same Listing Audit as the app: it grades the listing and ranks the fixes to make first. Checking its progress and getting the report link afterwards is free.
How do I audit a listing from Claude?
Paste the listing's public Airbnb link and ask:
Audit my Airbnb listing and tell me which fixes would make the most difference first: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12345678
Your assistant asks you to approve one Listing Optimizer credit, then starts the audit. Audits take a little while to finish, so if it isn't ready yet, ask again in a minute or two:
Is my BNBCalc listing audit finished? Show me the score and the top fixes.
You can only run one audit at a time on your account, and you can ask for the report, or the rewritten listing copy, in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish or Portuguese.
What does it cost?
A new audit uses one Listing Optimizer credit, the same credit as a Listing Audit run in the app, and there's no MCP charge on top. Checking its status, listing your past audits and getting the report link are all free.
You'll need a credit before you start, so buy one in the BNBCalc app if you don't have any left. Paid plans also include one free credit, once per account, after the plan is active.
What do I get back?
The same Listing Audit as in the app: a grade for the listing, the fixes ranked by how much they could matter, and rewritten copy you can paste into Airbnb.
When you want the full report, ask for its link:
Give me the link to download my latest BNBCalc listing audit report.
The download link only works for 5 minutes, so open it as soon as you get it, or ask for a fresh one later.
Can I compare my listing with the competition?
Yes. Before or after an audit, you can ask the assistant to read your listing and check it against nearby comps:
Look up my Airbnb listing at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12345678, then show me the 10 closest comps and how my rating and amenities compare.
Reading a live listing costs $0.05 and the comps search $0.10. The live lookup reads what's public on the listing, but not the host's identity or its reviews.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I get a Listing Optimizer credit for the BNBCalc MCP server?
Buy one in the BNBCalc app, which sells single credits and packs of five, or use the free credit a paid plan includes once per account. The BNBCalc MCP server spends credits from that same balance.
Can the BNBCalc MCP server change my Airbnb listing?
No. The BNBCalc MCP server never logs in to Airbnb or any other platform, so it can read a public listing and suggest changes, but you copy the ones you like into Airbnb yourself. Make sure the listing's details still match the home before you publish them.

How do I add the BNBCalc MCP server to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code?
Subscribe under Settings → MCP in BNBCalc, create an MCP key, then add https://atlas.bnbcalc.com/mcp to your client with the key in an x-bnbcalc-mcp-key header. Claude Code takes one terminal command, Cursor and VS Code take a few lines of JSON, and Claude Desktop needs a small bridge that runs on Node.js.

How do I optimize my Airbnb listing with BNBCalc?
To optimize an Airbnb listing, start with what guests see first: the cover photo and captions, a title of 50 characters or fewer, a description that uses Airbnb's sections and a complete amenity list. BNBCalc's Listing Audit (also called the Listing Optimizer) checks each, compares the listing with nearby ones and ranks the fixes, usually in 2 to 4 minutes.

How much does BNBCalc's Listing Audit cost, and is one included with my plan?
A BNBCalc Listing Audit (called Listing Optimizer at checkout) costs $19 for one credit, or $60 for five ($12 each), as a one-time payment with no subscription. Each credit covers one full audit plus two reruns of the same listing. Every paid BNBCalc account gets one credit included, once, and credits don't expire, even if your plan ends.
Listing Audit
How does BNBCalc's Listing Audit grade an Airbnb listing?
BNBCalc's Listing Audit scores seven parts of an Airbnb listing: photos, description, amenities, guest reviews, title, booking rules and host profile. Any issue holds a category below Good. BNBCalc weights the categories into an overall score, then caps the letter grade by how many fall short, so an A means every assessed category is Good. Pricing is never scored.

What are the best AI prompts for Airbnb investing? (BNBCalc MCP)
The best AI prompts for Airbnb investing name the address and bedrooms, plus the bathrooms, guests and price or rent for a full analysis, and ask for one job. With the BNBCalc MCP server connected to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code, that job can be revenue, comps, a deal analysis, rents, loan math or a Listing Audit.
