This Eagle River, custom cabin is in the most quiet spot, nestled on the grounds of 7-Mile Pinecrest Resort, located just 8 miles east of Eagle River on 7-Mile Lake.. Our family has owned and run this beautiful resort for 50 years. This will be the most recent cabin added to the 10 cabins the resort currently rents. It sits on beautiful 7 Mile Lake. The space Eight miles east and four miles South of Eagle River. This newest cabin, a cabin we have lovingly named "CREEKSIDE" is part of 7 Mile Resort in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest on 7 Mile Lake, is only 60 yards to the beautiful family beach and only 30 yards to a quiet lagoon where your boat can be docked. Boat ramp on the resort grounds for your use. At the current time, our WIFI internet reception has been spotty lately. We had it for three straight months during the summer (which isn't always easy in our remote setting). Then we began to experience periods of time with no reception. We have been in almost constant contact with the internet provider who is trying to resolve the issue. It currently will work for a day or two and then stop. Hopefully we will find a solution soon. As early as the first week of September 2020, the plan is to have this issue resolved. We will keep this as much up to date as possible. This is the only cabin on the resort with a large screened porch for family meal and game time (minus the bugs). This 2600 square foot cabin also has a large family TV and game room on the lower level. Since we have already achieved SUPERHOST status with our other cabin we rent at this resort, you can rent with confidence from us. If we can help you to try and accommodate larger family gatherings with our other cabin, please let us assist you. Inside there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (linens and towels included), full kitchen with dining and island seating. Home has central air conditioning. Ring doorbell cameras present on both entrances. Guest access Bring your boat or snowmobiles! Plenty of parking for trailers available as well as dock space for your boat or rental. This is a beautiful flat piece of property that does not require stairs to get to our lake (Yellow Birch). You will have full access to 275 ft of shoreline on 1 1/2 acres, 2 piers (1 recreational with 4 built in chairs on the end to watch the kids or enjoy your sunset cocktail; and 1 for fishing). A swim platform is nestled between them and set a little further out. Our lake house is really like no other. We are located on the very first lake north of town on the infamous Eagle River Chain of Lakes. {we like to show the clarity of the water by filling a clear glass bottle; you/ your guests will be amazed at our water quality}. The Chain has a dark bottom throughout that appears dark in color, however, it is naturally fed from Lake Superior. *kids should wear a life jacket at all times while swimming or boating. We have redone most of the house and it is just right for 1 or 2 families (pets or no pets). Fire pit is incredible. It has 8 Adirondack Chairs with cup holders surrounding a natural rock bed. The deck for morning coffee and your family cook outs cannot be beat. It is quant for private gatherings yet large in size. There are 4 chaise lounges on the deck along with a new table that houses 6 swivel chairs. 4 heavy Adirondack Chairs are stationed below providing an open vista of the entire property. You will have 2 spots open in garage to protect your vehicles while keeping you dry as you enter downstairs with groceries. Driveway can fit 4 more cars without crowding. The home is designed for families in mind but we get plenty of adult trips booked as well, especially during the snowmobile season. I have spent most of my summers in the north woods and have so many special memories I hold dear to me. My goal is to create a space that provides the opportunity for families to create their own memories with their kids in hopes that someday those kids will share those same experiences with their children. The home is made to be used. If you're expecting Egyptian sheets and 5 star accommodations you may be disappointed. I make up for it with 5 star service and good wholesome family fun. The best way to describe it would be it’s like an Irish farm house, a little rough around the edges but the inside is fit for a king…or queen! The heart and soul of my home is the kitchen. You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful, functional and ergonomic kitchen in the north woods. It combines all of today’s finest amenities with old world charm and craftsmanship. Brand new black stainless steel appliances (besides the white oven for now, switching over to gas in the fall and it will match the rest). A modern sink with some of fanciest gadgets you will find on the market. The ctops are made from a granite known as the river rock of stone, Black Marinace from Brazil. The cabinets are made of rustic hickory/walnut. It’s truly a one of a kind kitchen that’s built for the chef and designer in mind. I value quality time with family around the kitchen table. For me, cooking in this kitchen creates the atmosphere for creating special memories. I spend a lot of time prepping and making meals. Everybody sits down and an hour later it’s gone, along with several bottles of wine and cocktails. Haha. Hopefully we have a great memory from that experience. The kitchen gets used everyday to make a meal. It’s a magnifying glass that goes on to whoever is using it. If you’re using it and making a meal and memories that transcends out. I like that feeling and I think that’s cool and worth every penny! The main hang out area is in the log cabin. Board games (infinity game table), dart board, ping pong, poker chips/cards, bags and an arcade game with about 400 preloaded 80’s/90’s classic video arcade games. The TV in there has several streaming services available to you including HBO, Hulu, Paramount, Starz, Peacock, Apple and Amazon. This room also has a futon, a queen bed and theater seating (the most used piece of furniture I have, will be updating it when something else becomes available...it works fine but does show signs of use and wear). This room leads into one of the bedrooms which then leads into the living room/kitchen. Guest bedroom has a twin bed and a bunk bed (full size bed on the lower). Plenty of counter space and two recliner sofas in the living room. DVDs and local channels are set up on the TV. Good WiFi connection. Master bedroom off the living room w/ a king bed. There are four points of entry. The main door off the log cabin, a sliding patio door in the log cabin that leads to the back yard, a back door off the kitchen that leads to the backyard and a front door off the living room that faces the main road. The furniture is newer but is used because I do allow pets. I love dogs and it’s impossible for me not to bring my dogs with me on vacation. They love it up there and its impossible to wipe the smiles off their faces. I'm sure yours will love it as well. 90% of our guests are typically busy during the day adventuring around town, around the lake or on a trail and then coming back to it for the evening to cook dinner and then sit around the campfire or in the game room. The house gets very little use in all actuality. It’s best used as a home base to rest and use in the evenings but there's still plenty to do at the home if weather derails any of your plans. The back yard has some impressive towering white pines and is completely fenced in. There are two fire pits total and a picnic bench down by the water. The waters edge is about 40 yards from the main cabin. There is a bit of a incline and about 15 steps that lead to the dock. No ones had a problem with it yet but could pose a problem for anyone with a disability. There is a handrail. FUTURE PLANS There is a lakeside guest house that currently is not in service but hoping to have it ready by summer '26. The guest house is setup as a duplex atm. I believe I'm going to keep it that way. If you bring extended families up that gives each family a bit of privacy when they want some down time. Each side of the duplex has a full kitchen, 1 large bedroom, small bathroom with a shower and a spacious living room. You literally cant get any closer to the water and the views are superb. No one else will be staying on the property during your stay or working on it, whether you want to use the guest house or not. Down the road, hopefully within 5 years, I would like to build a gazebo with an outdoor kitchen w/ a lounge area and full bar. Hibachi grill, wood fired pizza stove, a garden with fresh herbs and veggies and a more elegant fire pit. BIG PLANS FOR THE FUTURE! Book with us and remember to slow down, enjoy life and RELAX when you're enjoying your stay at the Stumble Inn. Guest access You have access to the whole house except for the laundry room and the master closet. There is another closet to hang stuff on but the walk-in is locked. Garage is also locked. There’s a canoe you’re welcome to take out, and the fishing is excellent. In winter, this is the Snowmobile Capital of the World. You ride straight from the property onto the trail system — no trailering. The space Sleeps 6: king bedroom, a second room with two singles, and a queen pullout in the loft. Full kitchen, two baths, Wi-Fi. Self check-in by keypad. Dogs welcome ($75 pet fee). A few minutes to town for the supper clubs and Friday fish fry, then back to the quiet. Guest access You have the entire cabin, both porches, and the yard down to the stream. The canoe is yours to use during your stay — paddle the stream out to Watersmeet Lake and the Chain. In winter, snowmobile right off the property about two miles to the trails so you can sled straight from here. Self check-in by keypad, so come and go on your own schedule. I’m reachable anytime if you need anything, but otherwise the place is yours and the quiet is the point. Other things to note A few practical notes: Dogs are welcome with a $75 pet fee — just keep them off the beds and clean up in the yard. The stream and water are part of the draw, but they’re natural and unsupervised, so kids and pets near the water are your responsibility. The canoe is available spring through fall. Snowmobile trail conditions depend on snow and grooming — check the local trail report before you ride. Town is just a few minutes away for groceries, gas, and a Friday fish fry, but cell service can be spotty out here, so download directions before you head out.

Eagle River was incorporated as a city in 1937. Back then, people traveled mostly by train to get to the Northwoods. Now it’s approximately a three hour drive from Green Bay, and five hours from Milwaukee or Minneapolis. In 1988, the course was redesigned by architect Don Herfort of Minneapolis, and now features 18 holes with strategically bunkered greens, narrow forested fairways, and prevalent water hazards. This course will excite and challenge golfers of all skill levels! You will also enjoy a large practice facility that includes a grass tee range, practice green, chipping area and practice bunker. Amenities Note: Dock, kayaks, outdoor furniture, and outdoor games are winterized during the off-season. Launch your boat on the chain nearby in summer. 100 foot long and flat driveway for parking. Central air conditioning, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower/tub, kitchen, and living room. WIFI with Roku TV is included. We provide a pet free stay so we cannot accept service animals or pets. The space The perfect place for up to 4 guests. We feature 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with tub, full kitchen with plates and silverware, living room, and free on site laundry. Our 100 foot long and flat driveway makes parking easy for trucks and trailers. We are inspected and licensed through Vilas County. We provide a pet free stay so we cannot accept service animals or pets. 4pm or later checkin & 11 am checkout. Extra guests over four will be charged a $100 per night fee. The house is not big enough for more than four guests and we are only licensed for 4 guests max. Guest access Nice long driveway for boats or trailer parking.
