The house was completely renovated in 2016. It is a split-level home on the shore of Middle Lake, Lauderdale Lakes, WI. The home accommodates 12 guests with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The main-level walks out to a deck offering beautiful lakeside views. The U-shaped pier allows renters to bring their boat or rent one from the Lauderdale Boat House or other nearby rental services. The home is a short walk (5 min) to the only restaurant/bar on the lake, the Lauderdale Landing. The space Smoking is not allowed on site nor are pets. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Our country home is located 6.5 miles from UW-Whitewater campus. Alpine Valley is 17 miles away and Lake Geneva is 25 miles away. Hiking/biking trails nearby include the John Muir Nordic Trail, Ice Age National Scenic Trail (South Kettle Moraine), and the Ice Age Trail (Whitewater Lake Segment). We are happy to have you enjoy our home as much as we do. The space Our home offers 5 bedrooms, 7 beds with accommodations for up to 12 guests (see bedroom descriptions - 1 bedroom is a full size bed with a bunk bed that is suitable for a child only, and a pull out single trundle bed). There are 2.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, a natural fireplace in the living room, and a relaxing space in the basement. There is a patio area outside in the back of the home as well as a play area for kids. Guest access You will have full access to the house with the exception of 1 room of the basement and 1 side of the garage. Items in the garage are not for your personal use and should not be tampered with. Other things to note During winter, expect to see a personal plow truck removing snow from the driveway.

The main level is all open plan, and includes a living room, a large fully outfitted kitchen, wood burning fireplace, open dining room, bathroom and expansive deck. 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. And a lofted bedroom upstairs. The space Headcount is limited to the 6 people staying overnight, unless separate arrangements are made to make sure your plans align with acceptable use (not for parties or events). Welcome! Our home is a cozy, stress-free, relaxing, getaway. Our lake is NO WAKE, so you wont hear any jet skis, motors buzzing or be dodging water skiers. If you are looking for true peace & quiet in a sparsely populated lake, this gem is the place for you! This woody hideaway, nestled on the end of Pleasant Lake's peninsula ("The Point"), has 270 degree water views, 2 docks, a swim-to sandbar, toys (kayaks, canoes, etc), a beautiful yard, sandy bottom crystal clear water & great fishing! The space Typically, this home is not an AirBNB, but from time to time, a week will be available for a few lucky families to grace the grounds of our “Someday Home”. Now, our home is not your typical lake house with a few feet of lake frontage. You get OVER 300 FEET OF WATER FRONTAGE on the east, west, and north side of "The Point". The bay area leads into a quiet, intimate cove teaming with fish, turtles, water fowl, and the occasional beaver! This is our favorite place to kayak and its a stones throw from you. The house has very "North Woody" feel--without the extra 4 hour drive. The Great Room/kitchen area opens up to the lake with its many windows and its vaulted ceilings. It is the ideal space for the family to come together & is our favorite room in the house. The master bedroom is upstairs and the downstairs has the 2nd bedroom and 3rd bedroom we call the "bunkhouse" which is the kids' favorite. Overlooking the lake nestled right behind the main lodge, this cabin has 3 bedrooms, a half bathroom, a seating a room, a basic kitchenette & access to camp showers downstairs. One large bedroom has a queen bed, one room with bunkbeds, & one with a full bed to accommodate a max of 6 guests. (But the bunkbeds are best for kid-sized humans). Like all of Wandawega, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. There is heat & a couple AC window units. The space The kitchenette is outfitted pretty much the same since 1950, with a vintage fridge, electric cooktop, stove & griddle, microwave, coffee pot, assortment of glasses, plates, utensils, etc. It's suitable for basic prep, or making sandwiches, not "proper" cooking. For cooking meals most folks use the outdoor griddles, grills, & smokers. Like all of Camp, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. You'll also have your own dedicated campfire site, just off your deck. Head’s up that the photos don’t always match the current reality, because we never stop moving stuff around. We strongly suggest you come for a tour before booking so you know exactly what you're getting. If you’re looking for fine lodging, look elsewhere: this is old-school cabin-living. We are lovers of "Lake Life" and want to share our experiences of Turtle Lake with others who love tranquility and time to reflect, but also want to hike at the Kettle Morraine State Forest, enjoy camp fires, tour local historic towns such as Lake Geneva and other sites, fish (including the best ice fishing in the area!), canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, reading, and simply enjoying conversations with friends and family. We recently remodeled the kitchen, bathroom and 2 lower bedrooms. The space This is a large space with plenty of room for families to enjoy and spread out. Spend time reconnecting with all things natural such as lake swimming, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, golfing, and camping all in the quietness of Turtle Lake but also near more trendy areas such as Lake Geneva, Whitewater, Delavan, and Elkhorn Wisconsin for great food and nightlife. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and the yard including a large deck and a screened in lower patio. Other things to note As hosts we are more than happy to suggest some things nearby including the famous Duck Inn Supper Club just five minutes west of the house. Also nearby are two wineries; the Staller Estate Winery and the Apple Barn Orchard and Winery. Our cottage is located in the famous Assembly Park on Delavan Lake and has STUNNING views of the Lake. With 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, large wrap-around porch, sleeping arrangements can sleep up to 10 guests. Pier is available. The space This house was bought in December of 2019 and was completely renovated to host guests. We kept the original character of the cottage but added modern touches to enhance stays. Our cottage also has a beautiful outdoor living space. There is a large outdoor deck with a gorgeous view of the lake. Along with lots of seating. A pier is available for your boat and fishing. Our rental is a certified rental through the State of Wisconsin, Walworth County and the Town of Delavan. We only use all-natural cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. Located 10 minutes from Lake Geneva. Uber and Lyft are available. Guest access Guest have access to the entire home, as well as all the amenities of the Assembly Park association. 5 full parks including baseball, volleyball, shuffle ball, playground area full swim beach with sand and huge water slide. Brick streets make for a wonderful Walking path which can take you to lake walking paths. Bike and hiking trails are close. A pier is available for your boat for an additional charge. Includes launching and removing. So much to do. It is a must stay. Other things to note A pier is available for your boat October - April 6 month rental opportunities. Fire pit has been removed due to association bylaws. Fires are not allowed within this association due to lack of fire hydrants and proximity of houses The park is like a step back in time. It is a sweet treasure to experience and open for use to all guests.

You're invited to grill in the backyard or make a campfire. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from our deck, or the bar across the street. We're located just 15 min. East of Alpine Valley Music Theater. Turtle Lake, a small spring fed lake, boasts 2 bar & grills. Both serve up delicious Friday Fish Frys, and offer free music on the weekends in the summer. The space The large living room faces the lake and offers stunning sunset views. We have a 60 inch TV, two love seats, and one daybed in the living room with a trundel bed. Enjoy country fresh air while walking in our family friendly neighborhood or use our WIFI to work from home. We also provide 4 floaties for enjoying the small beach across the street. In the winter, you can ice fish or get the snowmobile trail at yhe bar across the street. The convenience of a washer & dryer make your stay complete. Guest access Guests enjoy off street parking in the driveway that can accommodate 5 cars. The Master bedroom has 2 large closets and the other bedroom facing the lake also has 2 closets. You will have access to the entire house except one hallway closet and one closet in the back bedroom. No access to the garage. Other things to note The lake is just across the street from us. It is a sandy community beach that is directly in front of a bar and grill (open Thur-Sun). In the winter, many enjoy ice fishing here or skiing at Alpine Valley. If you desire a special meal, the Duck Inn Supper Club is a couple miles to the West. Jonathan's in Delavan is a steakhouse and Holy Canoli in Elkhorn offers Italian cuisine.

Scenic Ridge Campground is within walking distance and offers a beach, snack bar, water inflatable obstacle course and boat rentals. One of several Whitewater Lake boat launches is a 1/4 a mile away for easy access and allows for all types of boating as well as fishing. Whitewater Lake public beach is a 10-minute drive and offers a playground and swimming beach. Nature land Park is a mile away with easy family friendly trails lined with tall pines, wildlife viewing and picnic areas. Kettle Moraine State Park Southern Unit with miles of trails is equally as beautiful and only a 15-minute drive. Provisions for your group can be found in the nearby town of Whitewater, a 15-minute drive through picturesque tranquil farmland. In the summer you might run across farm produce stands and other delightful spots. A list of restaurants enjoyed by local residents and all within a 15–30-minute drive is listed in our guest notebook.  OUR HOUSE:  Main Level: As you enter, you will be met with a breathtaking view of the cove and Whitewater Lake through floor-to-ceiling windows. The open-concept layout allows for gathering and entertaining around the fireplace in comfortable seating, preparing meals together in a fully equipped kitchen with a large quartz island or eating at the dining room table while enjoying the views. The kitchen opens up to a large deck with a gas grill, ample seating, and dining table. With a no step entry available, the main floor is suitable for guests with limited mobility.  Also on the main level is the master bedroom with a king bed, spa like bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The master bathroom allows for a roll-in shower and is equipped with grab bars. Off the master bedroom is an indoor seating area perfect for reading in the morning sun. The screened in porch, also right off the master bedroom, offers a private area for relaxing in big bean bag chairs and is a perfect place to enjoy coffee or drinks while watching for deer and listening to beautiful birds.   Loft: Walking up the beautifully designed open staircase brings you to the loft where the expansive views continue with windows on all sides. This space can be used as a private work or study area, is open to the main level, or as a 4th bedroom. The trundle can be comfortable seating as well, converted to two twin beds or combined for a full king.  Lower Level:  The lower level opens up to a TV room with comfortable seating, sleeper couch, and a beverage bar with refrigerator and microwave. There is walk-out access to the lower deck from the main room and from the queen bedroom. Also on this level is a bathroom with a shower and a bunk room with 4 twin beds.   Outdoor spaces: The front yard and driveway is a great place for yard games (kids plastic axe throwing game, croquet, cornhole, pickle ball, etc.) The front porch is a wonderful place to sit in the warm sun and watch the world go by. The back yard has a fire pit on the lake shore offering a great place for roasting hot dogs or making s’mores. Guests can enjoy kayaks, a canoe (life jackets for all ages included) and fishing (bring your own pole). An outdoor shower is available to use after going to the beach. On the lower back deck, you can lounge in cool shade and serene surroundings or have a meal together at a table that seats 6. Views of the cove and lake continue and offer wildlife sightings from the indoor windows or outdoor deck. Motorized boats are not allowed in the cove, helping preserve its calm atmosphere.  Don’t miss this opportunity to relax and unwind in peace and tranquility. The space The Lodge is one of 12 campsites located at Camp Kettlewood. Camp Kettlewood is located on 80 acres of beautiful forest, ponds, marshes and meadows in East Troy, Wisconsin. This restored former Girl Scout camp now offers thoughtfully upgraded campsites with ample space and modern updates throughout. The property has 150 ft. of lakefront real estate. This lake is home to Bluegill, Northern Pike, and Large-mouth Bass. The use of 2 individual kayaks, a paddleboard, and various floats are included as well as life vests.
