We do come and go, have our own visitors and lives, etc****** Floors and carpet are clean, but used condition. This bedroom has carpet and twin bed with table and large closet. The space I have two unused bedrooms in my home. One with hardwood floors, the other with carpet- two separate listings on airbnb. Please note this is a new bed as of February 2022. Second person would require sleeping bag and camping mattress on the floor. I will be in the home with my dog, and occasionally my teenagers. Upstairs bath is shared only with airbnb guests. Use of kitchen available, provided you clean your own dishes. Very close to 485 and 77. 5 minutes to Ballantyne, Carolina Place Mall. 10 minutes to Quail Hollow Club and Arboretum. 15 to 20 minutes to Uptown or Airport. Playground and fields at the end of the block. Public transit not recommended as main transportation. WiFi: It is not extremely strong, but still usable upstairs in the bedrooms. Remodeled walk out basement (over 1000 sq ft) with private entrance and outdoor patio is ready to welcome you! Our home offers a designated work area with high speed Wifi, coffee and tea station, USB charging station, outdoor grill, memory foam mattresses, multiple tvs set up with Netflix, Disney+, YouTubeTV, Amazon Prime and an antenna tv for local channels. The space ***PLEASE READ*** The AirBnB is a basement (beautiful walkout basement) and we do live above the rental. The AirBnB is completely separate and private including own private/separate entrance. The only shared spaces are the driveway and outside areas. We rarely use the backyard when we have renters to provide you with more privacy. Often times we don't even meet our renters or we can become good friends. We give you space and leave it up to you on the level of interaction you'd prefer. Please know - you will hear footsteps and voices at times - similar to that of an apartment, but less in the evening and early mornings as we also have a top floor. It should be fairly quiet 7p-7a. We are laid back/easy going. Additional note, this basement rental is by far the coolest part of the whole house. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Home is clean and comfortable. We do a full and thorough cleaning after every stay including comforters. Mostly new and remodeled in 2020 including all new furniture and bedding. Kitchen Our kitchen has a refrigerator. We have an induction stove top, microwave and coffee station (note: no traditional oven). We also have a table that can accommodate 4 people and outside picnic table with grill. Family Room Our family room has a large and comfortable sectional sleeper and a 43" Smart TV equipped with Netflix, Disney+, YouTubeTV, and antenna TV for local channels. Bathroom Our bathroom has a walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels and a blow dryer are provided (please note - no bathtub). Sleeping Areas We have a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, lamps, oscillating fan, and TV. We also have a second area in the back corner of the space which has another queen bed. The area is private, quiet and dark but no locking doors. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area that can pop up for additional sleeping arrangements. Please let us know if you plan to use as we want to make sure we have all the blankets and pillows needed. Also, we can have set up in advance of your stay if preferred/requested. Patio One of my favorite areas - outdoor patio area with a picnic table. There is also an outdoor ceiling fan, light and grill. We do NOT have a washer and dryer available, but there are laundromats near by the property. Please contact us about longer stays. Designated Workspace Quiet back corner with desk, chair, and high-speed WiFi. Guest access There is a driveway that can hold up to 2 cars. There is a separate, private guest entrance and you will be provided with your own private (new each stay) code in advance of your trip. Again... please understand... :) We are a family of 4 that lives upstairs. You will probably hear us walking around and talking. We try to be extra quiet but our kids are young... and loud... sorry in advance but please be aware as this may not be the right fit and that's ok too. Thank you if you have read it this far. Pine Tree Place is located on the CATS bus 14 transportation route to uptown Charlotte with lots of shopping and restaurants close by. I am also about 3 miles from South Park Mall, next to the Jewish Community Center and the Lansdowne Neighborhood. Guest access You have access to the entire apartment. Paver walkway to private entrance with your own personal code that will be supplied to you before you arrive. Roller bags don't work with the pavers but it's not too far a walk. Check in is after 3:00 pm in the afternoon, check out is before 11:00 am in the morning. You are welcome to use our grill, deck, fire pit or chiminea. They are all just outside your door. We have teenagers so you may hear us living life on the other side of the wall. We are very quiet though so no worries about loud tv's or music keeping you up. We have been doing this for over 5 years now and have enjoyed meeting our guests and hearing their stories. We love repeats. If you're looking for a private hook up place we are not for you. Other things to note I will give you your space. I will take your lead on how much you would like to interact with us. I understand that some would like to come and go on their own and others would like a wave and a hello. Totally up to you. I work from home so you may see me go back and forth to my studio located in the back yard. You can close all of your blinds and curtains for some privacy. The bedroom is on the far side for privacy. Keep in mind while this is an apartment it is still attached to where we live. The shower is a bit on the cozy side so If you want lots of wiggle room this Airbnb is not for you.

We also have a Tesla/EV charger if needed. The space In the kitchen you'll find a full size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop/griddle (great for cooking eggs, bacon and pancakes on), and countertop oven. We offer Nespresso coffee with cream and sugar. We also have a regular coffee pot with filters, if you prefer to brew your own coffee. There is no stovetop or full size oven. The bathroom has a roomy walk-in shower and we include towels, wash cloths, liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. During the warmer months when the pool is open, we also provide pool towels. The pool is typically open from May 1st to October 1st, but may vary depending on the weather.
