Only 1.5 miles from Dollywood (you can hear the train whistle at Dollywood from the comfort of the cabin and occasionally watch the Dollywood fireworks from the front porch) and 4 miles from the strip in Pigeon Forge! The gated resort features an attractive and airy glass-enclosed swimming pool. The pool is 3 feet to 5 feet deep and is 20 feet wide and 46 feet long.The pool is closed every year from January to beginning of March for maintenance and upkeep. Pool temps vary but they try to keep the temperature around 82 degrees. There is also a room in the HOA building at the entrance to the resort that contains vending machines and a brochure station providing info to alot of the adventures in the area. It is a very easy drive on all paved roads. There is a cabin to the right of Timber Lodge but there are no cabins below or to the left so there is plenty of privacy. There is parking for 8 right in front of the cabin as well as 2 charcoal grills. You will need to walk up 5 stairs to the entry door but once inside you can take the elevator to the desired level. Each bedroom door is numbered so you can all pick your sleeping arrangements before arriving to avoid the chaos of fighting for your space. :) Level 1 Fully stocked kitchen with 2 fridges, 2 ovens, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a rolling island that can be moved into the kitchen when you need more countertop space for cooking yummy meals. 2 gorgeous dining tables with seating for 24. Cozy living room with 75" Tv that can be viewed from the living and dining area. Electric fireplace (the fireplaces do not produce heat). Full height windows on this level provide incredible mountain views from the comfort of the indoors. There is a common bathroom across from the dining area that has a huge jetted tub and shower. There is also a stackable laundry unit in a closet by the dining area. Bedroom 1(sleeps 2)- King bed, 55 " Smart Tv, ceiling fan, dresser, nightstands, and private bathroom with shower. Access the main level deck from the dining/living area. This deck provides incredible mountain views from the comfort of a rocking or adirondack chair or the warmth of Hot Tub # 1. Level 2 Game area includes bar top table with seating for 6, pool table, arcade game and 65" smart TV. From the game area head out onto the 2nd level deck where you will find another hot tub and more relaxing seating. We also have a full sized foosball table, an air hockey table, and a standup arcade cabinet with a handful of the old classic games like Ms. Pac Man. There are 11 flat screen TVs covering every bedroom and common area. Each TV is equipped with Netflix, YouTube TV (for local Knoxville channels), Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. You will need to sign in with your own accounts to access these streaming services, ensuring plenty of entertainment options if the mood strikes. The main living room is similar to your own private media room, with a high end 10' projector in case a bunch of folks want to take in a game or movie. SECURITY CAMERAS: There are two security cameras located at the front entrance of the home and at the exterior of the pool house. Cameras record audio and visual. Security cameras are located on the exterior of the home only. All cameras are in adherence to Airbnb's security camera policy. PEST CONTROL: This property is in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, which is an extremely woodsy area. We have pest control that comes out every month to prevent bug issues, but on occasion, bugs may find their way into the home through open doors, windows, etc just like any other home. Please keep doors and windows shut whenever possible to prevent bugs from entering behind you. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip. Situated at the head of a picturesque valley, the two full-length balconies and 1,000 sf gazebo are the ideal place to spread out and spend time with friends and family enjoying the stunning views all year round. Parking is flat and not on an incline. We can accommodate 8-9 large vehicles. You must be 25 years old and have a valid Photo ID at the time of booking. Booking party must be present at time of check-in. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is conveniently located upon entry at the base level, so unloading a car full of groceries is a breeze. It features a center island w/ stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, custom cabinets, a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and with all the utensils and cookware required to prepare and serve the perfect homemade meal. If grilling is on the menu, head out to the large black charcoal grill located just outside the front door. And when it’s time to eat, enjoy gathering around the long, picnic-style dining table or take your food outside to enjoy the view. We now have added a second full refrigerator and counter-top ice maker. LIVING & GAME ROOM The living room features ample seating, including multiple leather recliners, and provides the perfect location to enjoy the views through the large windows that overlook the valley and rolling hills. If it’s time for entertainment, turn on the large smart TV. And on those rare occasions when there’s a chill in the air, flip a switch and get cozy next to the stone indoor fireplace. Kids and adults alike will find hours of fun awaiting them in the over-the-top game room with cathedral ceilings located just up the stairs. Cozy couches to enjoy a movie on the oversized smart TV. INDOOR POOL The indoor private pool is an attached unit, but separated from the living quarters which sets this cabin apart from many in the area. It is surrounded by a concrete pool deck and comfortable lounge furniture. There is a railing to help guests enter into the shallow end and plenty of room for everybody to splash and play, no matter the season! The Pool size is 12ft x 24ft with a max depth of 4ft. OUTSIDE SPACE With a covered 1,000 sf gazebo and two levels of full-length balcony space, there is plenty of space to kick back, relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. There is a bubbling hot tub at the back of the base level to soak your tired muscles after a day exploring the Great Smoky Mountains. Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer, and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services, which treat all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up, and have found it is very rare to come across anything like this. Guest access Our guests will have the full cabin to themselves! We will send an electronic door code approximately 5 days before check-in.
