Zara's Barn is a cozy TINY house with a charming bath house. We are located just minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Guests have a private and comfortable space to unwind amdist the beauty of Western North Carolina. The space Come stay at Zara's Barn, it is a comfortable tiny house, with a quaint bath house. A deck on back of the barn, overlooks a green space . Table and chairs are provided for eating outside or relaxing. We welcome one night stays! There is a shower, toilet and sink in bath house. This is for you as our guest only! It is private and is 15 feet from barn. I am professional soap maker, so I have provided a couple of sample bars of my herbal soaps that I make for your use. TAKE them home with you. We have supplied plenty of towels for your use. We have heat lamps on a timer installed for cool mountain mornings. A hair dryer is provided. You may consider in cold weather, for the walk to the bathhouse (although a short walk) having a jacket or robe, we DO provide 2 bath robes for your use. The bath house is NOT a sealed building and bugs do sneak in. I try to keep them out, but it is not sealed as I said. I hope a few bugs and ants don't bother you. Just sweep them out of shower stall or bathhouse if they sneak in. Comfortable full size bed, love seat, and eating counter. In the barn. We supply a couple breakfast bars in the barn. We have upgraded the A/C and Heating with a small mini split. Use remote for your comfort level. We have an bluetooth sound system to listen to your music from your device (you can also plug into the device). There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The barn itself has a crock with 5 gallons of water provided for drinking, and making coffee and tea, (which we also provide). It has no running water, but just 15 feet away is running water in your own private bath house. Please do not tamper with propane water heater, especially do not turn it off! We live in a house on the same property as the barn. We have tried to make your space comfortable and private from our view as possible. We respect your privacy for your visit. The deck is quite comfortable in mornings and evenings, what a nice place to relax! The Barn is CLOSE to the road, that can get fairly BUSY during peak hours, but we have made the space as private and comfortable as possible. The deck is lit up for a few hours at dusk on a timer (you can adjust as needed). As I said the Barn is close to the road, although we tried to make it private we have had issues of “NOISE” off the road, especially if trucks or loud motorcycles drive by. Some guests have commented about this. There is a small carp derby fishing lake behind our home. It is a 4 acre lake that guests are welcome to walk around it (1/3 of a mile walk , so 3 times around for a mile). Walk through the front yard to access the bench and lake. I have put out a bench on the edge of the lake for YOU to sit and watch the Ducks, and the fish jump. The fishing derby is in the evening, fisherman show up around 5:30. Please respect those who may be fishing, the derby runs most days from 6:00 pm - 2 am. You still may come sit on the bench on our property, you can watch the fisherman catch some big carp. Feel free to walk around our FRONT yard and enjoy the plants and flowers in our gardens. Through the FRONT yard you can access the small carp lake, and the bench to sit on by the edge of the lake. It's just for you. Please respect our privacy in our BACK YARD and our BACK DECK on backside of our house. Since the bathhouse is not winterized, we will be closed most of November - April. We hope you may consider staying with US at Zara's Barn. We'll make you feel welcomed! A great place to stay for one or two nights. Guest access Free Wifi. (Sorry we don't have a TV, we have hopes couples may enjoy each other and the area). Private bath house, includes sink, toilet and shower, just 15 steps away. A 10' x 16' deck on back of barn to expand your living space. There is a Insignia (blue tooth) sound system, sync up to your device to listen to your music. Small fridge, microwave and coffee maker, hair dryer. Parking is in front of barn (it can accommodate 2 cars). Other things to note Asheville is renowned for it's locally owned restaurants, and micro breweries. Many nights of the week you can easily find great live music. Whether browsing or shopping, downtown, Asheville is chock full of beautiful handcrafted products and art. Additionally, there are a lot of festivals and events that are worth checking out throught the year. Uber does come to our address, if you wish to take one. Avid hikers and those seeking an enjoyable stroll, will be able to find a place to explore the beautiful landscape of Asheville. Trails and views are to be found in every direction! Zara's Barn is the ideal place to unwind just minutes from all Asheville has to offer.

The design intent of our guest home, by our architect, was to bring Mothers Nature indoors, as much as structurally possible, thus there is an amazing amount of glass windows throughout our home with blinds for privacy as needed. No animals or pets are allowed due to owner-animal allergies. Guest access The whole house is yours for the duration of your stay: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, front deck, side deck, fire pit, hot-tub area on stone patio, indoor electric fireplace, washer and dryer, Keurig for coffee, and microwave. Cell service could be spotty in the mountains, depending on your carrier. WiFi is provided, however bandwidth in our mountain location is likely slower than you may be used to. If you wish to stream movies you may want to download them ahead of time before your arrival.

The Rosebud Manor

The unique, art filled, hand built wooden house, opens to the fence enclosed decks with sunken koi ponds. Relax outside in the sun, or under the roof for shade, make a fire in the fire pit, on your private fenced in deck. The walkway to the house has uneven stone steps, if walking is a challenge Easy access to downtown Asheville as well as stores and restaurants minutes from the house in rural Fairview where the house is located. It is also a short drive to the Blue Ridge parkway The space This artist designed wooden loft house has an eat in kitchen, with built-in greenhouse, and living room on the first floor, opening up to a private deck. The deck has both covered and uncovered spaces for sun or shade, and small garden area with 2 sunken koi ponds. Upstairs is a plant filled loft with a day bed and TV, over the kitchen and a large bedroom with a king size, super comfortable, memory foam bed. The deck has a charcoal grill, and fire pit stocked with wood, and the fully equipped kitchen has gas cooking, and a propane fire heat stove, for extra warmth and charm on cold mornings and nights. This is a small, compact house, just 600 square feet. I have been told by a few people that it seems larger in the pictures, so just want to be clear about the size. It is very comfortable for 2, and adequate for up to 3 people. The entire house and deck areas are private for your use. I love animals and also welcome your pets. The house is completely fenced in, so you can let them enjoy the space inside and outside the house without worry, although very small dogs could find a space they might squeeze under, if they are inclined. (If your dog is likely to jump into the koi ponds on the deck, you may have a problem staying here comfortably.) I live in another house on the property, and will be available to help, as needed, whenever I am home. The house is situated on a gravel driveway with 4 unique small houses on it. I live in one of them. 2 are available to rent, if you have a larger group. The whole property can accommodate 10 people. The house is just off Hwy 74-A, 5 minutes to I-40, at I-240, which is the intersection that goes anywhere in Asheville, and Black Mountain. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway crosses the road as well, just 5 minutes from the house. Historic downtown Asheville is an easy 10 minute drive from the house. The Biltmore House, and The River Arts District are about 15 minutes. Guest access The entire house is private for your use, as well as the fenced in surrounding decks, fire pit stocked with wood, and 2 sunken ponds with fish. Outside of the house, feel free to sit in the shared garden. Other things to note The sleeping is upstairs. the bathroom is on the ground floor .There is one King size bed in the bedroom, and the other bed is a day bed.

Our place is in nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. It’s home to a miniature horse and donkey, and some chickens on the property. There is a country market deli on adjacent property to our Airbnb‘s. We also have additional AIRBNB‘s on the property. Room number one has a double bed. Room number two and room number three have queen size beds. The space We have studio rooms,included are a Kitchenette with microwave,coffeemaker, and a small refrigerator. They are out of the ordinary, Shabby Chic in design; with nice bathrooms that have walk in showers. A huge Oak Tree covers the double deck that makes for a peaceful sitting area that leads to the privately placed rooms. Downtown Asheville is only 15 minutes away from us. It has lots of very interesting restaurants, unusual eclectic shops and Antique stores. The Asheville Airport is just 20 minutes away. Other things to note We also have other AIRBNB‘s on the property if this one is already booked.

This house is a really cute, one room tiny house. It's cozy and charming, with everything you need for a quiet retreat alone or as a romantic getaway with someone special. The house is in rural Fairview, just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. It is 5 minutes from the major intersection of I-40 and I-240, which goes everywhere in and around Asheville, and also 5 minutes from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway The space One room tiny house with 2 porches for great, small indoor and outdoor space. The shaded front porch has a table and chairs, and outdoor glider/couch. In back of the house is a private, enclosed deck with a 2 person hammock where you can lie in the sun, or under the stars at night. Inside is charming and cozy with quilt and pillow covered full size bed, and small table and chairs, plus a desk area, and kitchenette, with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. The space is heated with a gas heater, as well as space heaters for extra warmth, The space around the house including the porch and a small ivy covered yard, is fenced in, so dogs can be enclosed around the house. ( Bigger dogs may be able to get out over the front gate, very small dogs may get out under it. It is not secure enough to leave some dogs unattended.) Also, please note that the yard is a very small space, not one larger dogs can run around in. You are welcome to walk them in the garden area outside though. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway alone, or with another person, close enough to pop into Asheville, or just enjoy the local Fairview restaurants, coffee bar, and stores, all within 2 miles of the house. Fairview is a rural community just outside of Asheville surrounded by mountains, with great access to everything. I want to mention that this is a small space. It has a full size bed, which a couple of people have felt was not big enough for 2 people. (It is a full, also known as double bed). So if you are very large, or need a lot of space, this might not be the best place to choose. If you like tiny cozy spaces with everything contained in a small area, this is a wonderful space. I lived in it myself for 8 months before making it an Airbnb, and loved it. Guest access The space itself is private, and complete, and you also have access to the community garden just outside, where you can sit and watch the chickens, as well as birds, butterflies and hummingbirds, surrounded by the mountains. Other things to note This house can be rented in combination with another house on the property for larger groups. The 3 houses together can hold up to 13 people.

Our Cozy Cabin is in lovely Fairview, NC, just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, and 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, in a great area to hike, bike or go for a trailrun. The Cabin has a living space with small sleeper couch -2 littkids or 1 adult fit fine!-, comfy chairs to read, a dining table for four and a small kitchen. A separate bedroom with queen bed, and the bathroom with toilet, shower, sink you'll find behind the blue barn door. Welcome, we hope you feel right at home! The space The space is peaceful, and has the look and feel of a botanist's cottage, with fern studies on the wall, several botany books on plants and flowers, and some games and puzzles with the same theme, to inspire you to go on nature adventures. Guest access The whole cabin is yours during your stay. Note: The Cabin is on the right side of the property, with 2 parking spots on the right. The Farmhouse on the left side of the property (separately rented) has 2 parking spots in front of the garage doors. The drive way lays between the 2 houses, each house has its own indoor and outdoor spaces. Other things to note Bring sneakers or hike boots to go for a hike or run nearby, or enjoy the peaceful cabin and stay 'home' to read a good book.

One bathroom, eat-in kitchen, and nice living room with brand new smart TV lets you to stream your favorite shows. DVD player, videos, and cable are also provided. Great back deck with outdoor dining table provides more space to enjoy the mountain air, eat a meal, or work on your laptop. Charcoal grill is available too! Plenty of parking above or below house. Coffee-maker, Keurig, dishwasher, and all dinnerware are provided. The expansive level backyard is perfect for a fire, a game of frisbee or bocce ball. I aim to go above and beyond to keep the cabin spotless for all of my guests. Guest access The whole house. (There is an unfinished basement that I use for storage and lawncare that is not available.) Other things to note First and foremost, please be respectful of the kind neighbors on either side of the cabin and do not disturb them. This cabin is located in a country/suburban neighborhood. Maintaining good relationships with my neighbors is important to me. Gibson Roberts Dr. becomes private property just past the cabin. Please don't let your dog(s) bark at the neighbor's fence for hours upon hours or shoot off tons of fireworks in the back yard for hours upon hours. Please use common sense and be a good neighbor. Charming Mountain Cabin - 15 minutes to Asheville

Lirio Woods is located in a rural setting, 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. The spacious lower level of the house is reserved for guests and is completely private from the upper floors. Our location is perfect for exploring this spectacular part of Western North Carolina - the Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, hiking trails, and more. The space A cabin in the woods is the feel of Lirio Woods. It is a quiet, private space that includes a good sized bedroom, spacious living area, an eating area, full bathroom, kitchenette (no oven but there is an electric skillet, induction burner, a gas grill on front porch, toaster oven and microwave) and a washer & dryer. Lirio Woods is a great get away that's convenient to Asheville, hiking, Biltmore Village/Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the airport. There are many ways to enjoy this cozy apartment. We encourage guests to relax on the glider rockers on the front porch after a day of hiking. Or spend the evening around the fire pit and listen to the night quietly descend. Have your morning coffee at the window and watch the birds flit from tree to tree. For those who want to be indoors we have a comfortable couch, love seat and a recliner, wifi, and a Smart TV. Our guests who are here for work are pleased by the peace and quiet and often find that they have plenty of time to head to town for a meal and some live music. Inside the cabin offers an open floor plan with a double bed, small loveseat and a hand built, little kitchen where you can cook a full meal. Four big windows provide lots of natural light and might inspire reading, creativity or quiet reflection. The spacious bathroom has a clawfoot tub/ shower combination, a composting toilet system and a wardrobe for you to store some of your belongings. Guest access Guests have access to the cabin which includes the open floor plan living room/ bedroom/ kitchen and the bathroom. Our little kitchen comes equipped with a two burner induction stove, a toaster oven and an electric kettle. Please do not smoke, vape or burn anything inside of the cabin. The rest of our property is our family homestead and we ask that you stick to the area right around the cabin or up the driveway the way you came in. This listing is for the first floor guest suite of the house. I live upstairs, and the two levels are completely independent of one another/fully private. The hot tub is large and deluxe, and is exclusively yours during your stay. The space This is a spacious ground level guest suite with a full kitchen, large bath, tall ceilings, king bed. The property has extensive and beautiful rock-work that channels spring and rain water down the mountainside creating a very inspiring and grounded feeling. Your space is an efficiency apartment that is fully above ground on the entrance wall and below ground on the back wall. The house is built on a slope. You have private use and entrance to the unit. About 500 sq ft. of interior space for you to spread out. You only share the parking area. There is a dedicated parking space for you. Parking for a large car or small truck. Your parking space is the middle of three spaces. There is a guest parking sign in front of the space. There are two windows. The two entrance doors also have windows. There is a private outdoor area with chairs and a table for relaxing and taking in the view. There are 16 STEPS down to the entrance, 2 up to the door and 2 inside up to the bathroom. Jeff and Laura live on the two floors above your space. You may hear footsteps. We take pains to be as quiet as possible when we have guests. We usually go to sleep about 10 - 10:30 PM and wake up around 6 to 7 AM Kitchenette has a coffee maker, medium sized fridge, induction cooktop, and microwave. There are pots, utensils, cooking utensils, plates, bowls and mugs. Coffee, Tea, creamer and sweetener are complimentary. There is one Queen sized bed. The bathroom has tile floors. The rest of the space is carpeted. There are 2 oil filled radiator electric space heaters for heat. They are simple to use. Propane gas logs are available for use from about mid-November until mid March There is a window AC unit from about early April until mid October. It usually stays comfortable without AC due to part of the space being underground, the many trees, the lack of asphalt, and the 3000 foot elevation. There is also a box fan in the space. East of Asheville has MUCH lighter traffic than North, Central, West , or South. 5 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway. Many spectacular views with scenic overlooks, With parking, heading north or south on parkway Downtown Asheville is 25 minutes. Black Mountain is about 20 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and music venues. It is a more charming town and less crowds than Asheville. You will need a car here. The nearest bus stop is over 3 miles away. The last quarter mile is climbing on a curvy mountain gravel road. No problems getting up except in the rare cases of significant snow on the road. Driveway and gravel road may be a bit bumpy. Both are maintained regularly. Just drive slowly, that is also safer for other vehicles and wildlife. Self check in is anytime after 5 PM. Self check out is anytime before noon. We have a series of motion detector security lights as you head down the steps to your suite behind the house. The wilderness area is known for hiking biking paddling and rafting. We have a thriving art scene: music fine art and more. There are many craft breweries with restaurants and musicians performing. The blue ridge parkway is beautiful for driving and many scenic overlooks. Excellent hiking: Warren Wilson College (17 minutes), Montreat(adjoins Black Mountain) (30 minutes), Catawba Falls (35 minutes). 3000 feet elevation means it is cooler than the valley (Asheville or Swannanoa). 50 inch TV with roku and other channels. Many shows and movies on streaming apps. We have spectrum (charter) high speed internet. We also have a selection of books. Cell service fine w/ WIFI calling We have Verizon cell service and it works well here. OUR INSURANCE LIMITS US TO A MAXIMUM OF 2 GUESTS Guest access Last quarter mile of drive is on curvy gravel road. Drive slowly for safety. Driveway and gravel road may be a bit bumpy. Both are maintained regularly. Just drive slowly, that is also safer for other vehicles and wildlife. Your parking space is the middle of three spaces. There is a guest parking sign in front of the space. The entrance has a push button lock for access. I will text or email you the code when you book. Press the code then the lock button and wait for the beep. To lock the door you just press the lock button. You will then hear a beep. We have a small (22 lb) dog that will probably bark as you drive up if we are home. She will be in the house or rarely with one of us outside. She has NO history of biting. She is calm once she sees there is no danger. She has many human friends and goes almost everywhere with us. Excellent hiking: Warren Wilson College (15 minutes), Montreat(adjoins Black Mountain) (20-25 minutes), Catawba Falls (30-35 minutes). Point lookout (20-25 minutes away) at Royal Gorge trail in Ridgecrest near Black Mtn : About 1 mile to beautiful near and long range mountain views. 3.6 miles til trail end. Paved out and back trail open to bikes and hikers. Continuous views when leaves are down. Hiking in Montreat : Lookout is good for views. Steep but not too far. Beyond it are rattlesnake and copperhead for more solitude and views. Or hike part of greybeard along the creek. You can get a free map at the assembly inn. Catawba falls in old fort is a very pretty waterfall over 100 feet high. Walk is fairly flat along the creek. A second falls above requires a hike of 20 minutes each way. Around 2024 constructed a series of steps and viewing platforms and a metal Tower to make the hike easier. it allows you more views of the river and Falls than before. it can be a little hard on the knees. there is an alternate route through the woods that is just a regular Trail but it does not go along the river or the falls. Rainbow falls and sliding down turtleback falls in gorges state park. About 90 minutes away. Some things to do on a HOT DAY : Swimming hole near Azalea park 15 minutes away. Tubing on the green river in saluda. Much prettier and a little less crowded than tubing in Asheville. They rent tubes and offer a shuttle bus. It is dam release so good water levels. Hiking and swimming on the Laurel River near hot springs. Davidson river area near Brevard : Slow tubing (not dam release) many waterfalls with short walks (see Brevard hub in waterfall book in the apartment) swimming holes especially whale back. There is a ranger station on 276. Rosman has swimming holes and waterfalls (bird rock and mill shoals I recommend).

This cozy dwelling is perfect for couples and small families. 20 min to downtown Asheville and great hiking in Montreat, 10 min to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 16 min from Black Mountain, and 30 minutes to the Asheville airport. We love the area and are happy to give recommendations! 4x4 vehicle recommended (but not necessary) for the 1/2 mile uphill gravel. The space Our home is tucked into the cove on a quiet 1.5 acre wooded lot. Enjoy swinging in the hammock, grilling, and relaxing on the beautifully lit, large patio area with fire pit and fence for dogs. Enjoy an abundance of bird watching, amazing sunsets, fall foliage, mountain view in the winter, and stargazing at night. The cabin has two cozy bedrooms, updated bathroom with washer/dryer, open living and kitchen area with a small dining table and counter with stools, wood stove, and many indoor plants. A back up generator protects you in case of storm or power outage. Pets We love dogs! We request a one time $50 pet fee and we will charge repair fees for any damages done by your dog, of course. We do our very best to rid the house of dog hair, but if you experience pet allergies you may want to choose a different rental. The fence around the patio area is good enough for most dogs, but if you have a jumper/digger/escape artist, please check the perimeter of the fence before allowing your dog free range! Please pick up and dispose of any dog poop in the trash or by tossing it into the woods. Other friendly dogs live in the neighborhood and will bark when you walk past their homes. Please keep your dogs leashed when walking around the property or on neighborhood roads. Relaxing studio apartment with a private entrance. The perfect place for a quiet relaxing getaway to the mountains of western NC. Convenient access to local trails and venues. Watch the sunset from the private patio overlooking the woods or from one of the nearby vistas on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The space The studio apartment has a comfortable queen bed with soft pillows, dresser, closet for hanging clothes, small desk, private en-suite bath, and a separate heat/ac unit that you control. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, Keurig stocked with coffee, electric kettle and teas, and a microwave. Paper plates and plastic dinnerware included. The living area includes a loveseat, chair, coffee table, and a wall-mounted Roku TV. The bathroom is well lit and has a full size tub, toilet, sink, and a full length mirror. The private patio has two chairs and modular deck seating with a small table. The patio is west-facing and looks out into the forest. Sunset views are possible during mid-autumn through early spring and especially during winter months. The space is quiet aside from distant traffic noise. The property sits on 2.5 acres in a private neighborhood. The road is well-maintained and is salted and scraped during icy/snowy weather. Our sweet pup, Pepper, is happy to greet you or stay inside with us during your stay. We do our best to heed the wishes of our guests, so please let us know your preference. She keeps a watchful eye and helps keep us safe from things like humbling bears and falling acorns. Animals that visit the property: deer, rabbits, foxes, turkeys, turtles, lizards, chipmunks, field mice, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, other birds (hummingbirds, woodpeckers, hawks, songbirds, owls), an occasional snake, and yes - bears! Guest access Guests use their own entrance accessed down a well lit landscapes path. The private patio is for the exclusive use by our guests. Guests will have their own parking spot in the driveway. Other things to note Our home is on a mountain and wildlife visits the area frequently- including bears! Please be mindful of the wildlife and do not feed animals. We love the bears, but we don’t want them to move in! NO SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED Please note that while the road is paved, it is steep and involves switchbacks. 2 wheel drive vehicles are fine except during significant accumulations of snow or ice. WINTER GUESTS Please take note that in the case of snow or ice you might need either 4 wheel drive or AWD to get up the mountain. In the case of a major snowstorm, you may have to park at fire station directly across from the neighborhood entrance and walk the 1/2 mile up, at least until the road is scraped. This generally happens only a few times per year, but you never know...

The Bear Garden - with forest and sunset views

Our loft apartment is in a beautiful, quiet setting, but is only 9 miles into the heart of Asheville. You will love staying in this relaxing, light-filled space, with a full kitchen, walk-in closet, comfy linens and mountain views in the winter. The space This upstairs loft has exposed timber beams, which allows it to have an open floor plan. The north facing skylights provide natural light worthy of a painting studio. The queen size bed is located in the corner of the main area, while the full sized bed is in a separate bedroom. This room is best suited for those under 6' tall, due to the angled ceiling. The access is through a side door and up a flight of stairs. The space downstairs is a workshop/studio which will not be used during your stay. Guest access Our area is nice for a walk down the road, which is only lightly traveled. Private parking for 2 cars is right by the building. Guests have access to the yard by the apartment but need to respect the privacy of the home next door.

Come unwind and breathe at our couples mountain spa retreat. Atrium House has been designed to feel open to the lovely mountain surroundings yet let you relax in privacy. Our outdoor therapy hot tub, indoor/outdoor gas fireplace, and spacious two-person, walk-in shower make for a getaway so tranquil, you may never make it in to nearby Asheville! We're out in the country but just over a 15-minute drive from downtown Asheville, Biltmore, Hendersonville, Asheville Airport, and dozens of breweries. The space Atrium House is very serene, and a wonderful place to unwind and relax. We’re located in a rural area with other homes, farms, and woodland. The house is independent with its own driveway. The drive is steep but short, and paved with a specialty surface to improve grip. (4WD NOT required - we drive up it in a minivan.) Approximately a 25 minute drive from the Cliffs at Walnut Cove. Special rates apply for PGA season. Other things to note Atrium House was built specifically as a guest house, with the goal of sharing our beautiful area with others without removing existing housing from the Asheville market. Welcome to Hillside Hideway! We do have a happy one year old. While we will take every measure to minimize the noise, you may hear some baby sounds occasionally throughout your stay. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. A woodland suite located 12 minutes from Downtown Asheville and 5 minutes to the Blue ridge parkway, Hillside Hideaway offers you the experience of a rural mountain retreat just minutes away from fantastic dining and adventure! The space Your cozy guest suite with a focus on all that North Carolina has to offer, is located in the lower level of our home. It has direct access to the driveway and the upper deck and patio where the fire pit is located. Within the space there is a full bathroom, sleeping area, and fully furnished kitchenette. We do live upstairs so please understand that noise does travel and that we will be respectful of your space. We have provided a white noise machine and ear plugs to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guest access We are located on a one acre parcel that gives you the experience of being tucked up high in the mountains. You will have access to the guest suite, deck and patio, and the surrounding property. We have a propane fire pit as well as a solo stove for your use. Please use whichever one you feel comfortable with. You are also welcome to stroll through the woods or hang a hammock and enjoy the peace and quiet. Please be mindful of the quiet hours while using this space. All of the doors in your suite that go to the main portion of the house will be locked and we will not enter your space until after you have checked out. Other things to note We have tried our best to keep all of the amenities in the space as local as possible. The bars of soap are made by a neighbor down the road, the coffee is from our favorite local roaster, and the art is done by local artists. We encourage you to support the small business and local artists in the area. They are the ones that really make this town the special and unique place that it is!

Large Smart TV, spacious living room in the daylight walk-out basement, washer/dryer and free standing, electric fireplace. Easy level parking for two. The Blue Ridge Parkway Trails and Folk Art Center are nearby! The space Should you want more space or have family or friends that want to stay nearby in a similar cabin, check out the adjacent Rainbow Mountain Cabin and reserve them both! Guest access You have access to the main level cabin area with the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bar and wrap around porch with outdoor table and chairs, as well as, hammock rocking chairs to relax in. You will also have access to the downstairs patio with outdoor table and chairs, a hammock and family room with Smart TV, as well as , a full sized washer and dryer. Other things to note Bears are out and about in the spring, summer and fall. Our Garbage day is Wednesday. Please keep trash inside till Wednesday morning and then put it out in the large black trash can by the fence. This will help us keep the bears from visiting for a snack.

NEW Hummingbird Cabin - 12 min to Asheville!

The hayloft above our barn is now a beautiful studio apartment with an incredible view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Open up the French doors and enjoy the fresh air while watching the clouds settle in the valley. Give the horses some carrots and nose rubs or feed the chickens some bread. Enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast (when available) in the full kitchen and take in the peace and quiet of the mountains while still being only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and Black Mountain. The space The entire upstairs of the barn is yours to enjoy. It is newly finished with a full kitchen, queen size bed, smart TV, and modern bathroom with a stall shower. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies and coffee. We live full time on the property and our house is approximately 150 feet behind the barn. We will keep our distance to allow you plenty of privacy, but you may see us coming or going or tending to the chickens or horses. Feel free to walk your pup on a leash in our yard or around the neighborhood, but please don’t go across the paved driveway, that is not our property and guests do not have access to it. This is a hobby farm with horses and chickens. No roosters. The horses are very friendly and love carrots and nose rubs. Our chickens frequently free range and may be waiting for you on the stairs when you come home after a day of exploring. Guest access Guests have access to the entire upstairs of the barn and the yard around it. There is a single designated parking spot for guests next to the barn. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the outdoor seating area and propane fire pit at the base of the stairs. The yard and ponds across the paved driveway are not our property and guests do NOT have access to that area. Other things to note Dogs MUST be on a leash when outside. We have a very friendly golden retriever, Wrangler, that roams the property but typically stays on our porch. The horses are very friendly but will kick a dog that chases them! You may hear the horses from time to time. They are not loud but they do reside in the functional bottom half of the barn so occasionally you might wonder, “what was that noise?” Don’t worry, it’s just Councilman Jam or Little Sebastian scratching an itch on something!

Our Cottage isn't the best for crawling babies and toddlers as the balcony, spiral stairway and gas fireplace present hazards that don't accommodate baby gates. And after a day of adventure, soak your cares away in our inviting hot tub under the starlit sky. This is the basement floor of my 3 story house. You’ll have your own entrance, private parking, and plenty of space to stretch out in. The space This is a very large studio space, shaped like an L, with a putting green as you enter, followed by a kitchen area, into a living room area/movie space, and finally a bedroom area and 1 bathroom. Guest access The basement is separated from the rest of the house by a locked door at the top of a stairwell. You’ll have complete privacy and sole use of the backyard and hot tub area while you are visiting. Other things to note This is not a full kitchen, but there is a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and keurig (and tons of amazing restaurants in Asheville, should you need any suggestions for places to eat : )

A portable Boom Box blue tooth speaker for your music is on top of the refrigerator. You will love our Sweet Retreat with Sauna and soaker tub. Cute place in quiet Asheville neighborhood right next Blue Ridge Parkway. Place has a lovely creek out back and plenty space to spread out and relax. Great place if you are on vacation or working remotely.  HVAC is now mini-split, and electrical outlets functional. Super convenient location near I-40 & I-240 with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Come on over and make yourself at home - we'll leave the light on for you.

A Sweet Retreat AVL w/ Sauna Unit A

Enjoy a 900 sq ft. guest rental in a wooded mountain valley east of Asheville; located 15 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from Black Mountain. Inside you will find a spacious rec room, bedroom and bath. There is a refreshment area, but no kitchen. Your accommodations are completely private including your own outside entrance and parking. The home features two levels; we live in the upper and your rental is in the lower. See the photos for a complete view of the rental suite. Kick back and relax in this cozy cabin located in the Blue Ridge mountains with convenient access to hiking, breweries, crafts, shops, and more. This cabin is located on a beautifully landscaped larger property. Only 20 min to Downtown Asheville and just a 16 min drive to the Biltmore Estate The space Queen sized bed Wi-fi Satellite TV Private Deck Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, washer, dryer, kitchen essentials Guest access The full cabin, minus the top loft guarded by the stuffed bear. Although 4WD is not necessary, low ride cars are not recommended, as the cabin is located on a gravel road. The cabin is an accessory building on a larger property, but maintains a private space once inside. The closest grocery store is Food Lion, approximately 6 miles from the cabin. Other things to note Room for a single car only. Check out is 11 AM. $20 fee added for every half hour after 11:15. Cleaners are on a schedule and we need this time to be respected. Any unauthorized animals will result in a $50 charge.

The space 1 partitioned bedroom features a TempurPedic California King memory foam bed, with plenty of closet storage, integrated charging station, and a lighted vanity with table & chair. We provide crisp white towels & washcloths- plus shampoo, bodywash, conditioner, and makeup removal wipes . Living room has exposed block walls & beams, with an ample sectional couch that converts to a full comfy Queen bed (no bars or slats!). For rainy days there is a 42" TV equipped with roku and HDMI cord: log in to stream all your favorites from Netflix or connect your laptop! A nice spot to relax and listen to the babbling creek. **Accessibility Notice* * Please be aware that the unit is situated on a steep wooded lot which can provide challenges to those with mobility issues. There are several railroad tie stairs from the parking area to the walkway. The path to the entrance is a combination of flagstone walkway and pea gravel, approximately 60' in length. When you reach the door there are an additional 3 deck-style stairs to negotiate. It is impossible to pull a vehicle up to the door for unloading luggage or passengers.
