However, we are fortunate to have great partial ocean views. :) In regards to cable TV: No cable, however we have setup a Netflix account for our guests enjoyment. Wifi is available with two powerful routers (one in the house and one in the apartment) Important Disclaimer: Villa Despacito is in the north west area of Puerto Rico. While this provides incredible beauty and natural wonders, it also means that heat, humidity and sudden tropical storms are not uncommon. We strive for a calm, serene & relaxing environment; and most of the time it is just that. However, the tropical birds are very active as daylight breaks, and the waves can get loud at night. We are also in the middle of a small, but active surfing village. Sometimes the neighboring horses, roosters, dogs, coquis, etc., can be heard. For those guests who are extremely noise sensitive please keep these things in mind. Living in the country / beach side also means an abundance of horses, Iguanas, ants and ‘bugs’. None of which are dangerous. Surprisingly though mosquitoes are usually not an issue (but they do exist). That said, we do everything we can to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Our home has three bedrooms (sleeping a maximum of 6 guests), a bathroom, living room, dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. It is located approximately 10-15 minutes, by car, from two nearby beaches, Playa Sardinera and Playa La Poza del Obispo. 🛏️ BEDROOMS (3) 1st: 2 twin beds, 2nd: a full size bed, 3rd: a full size bed All beds have new mattresses with two protective, waterproof mattress covers. Each bedroom includes two pillows, bed linens, spacious dresser for clothing and personal items, wall hooks with a few clothing hangers (no hanging rod/bar) and a bath towel for each guest. Each bedroom has a full length mirror behind the door and a remote controlled air conditioner. 🚿 BATHROOM Our bathroom is stocked with wash items (toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner). It has a standing shower with two shower head options (one handheld). No bathtub. Our spacious eco-friendly home with a panoramic view to the Atlantic Ocean is located in Villas de Altamira, a very friendly neighborhood surrounded by local bakeries which are a staple of the town. Equipped with high speed Internet, water cistern and solar panels for a comfortable stay even with power outages, and a backyard with a garden-like atmosphere. Our home offers comfortable beds and a beautiful modern kitchen, with multiple relaxing lounging areas in the inside and outside. The space The Caban home is stunning with an open floor plan with lots of natural sunlight shining through. The living room and dining room are adjacent to each other, just a few steps from the kitchen. This area can be found as you enter the home from the front or side entrance. A six-person dining table is available where our guests can enjoy their main meals. The Maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons to enjoy a very comfortable stay. If it is determined that the rental party has exceeded said amount, an additional charge of $25.00 per person per night will be billed to the guest. We may cancel the reservation at any time if it is determined that the maximum occupancy has been exceeded without previous notification. The kitchen has everything guests need to cook a full meal, accompanied with a coffee bar. The family room is located past the kitchen containing a tv set, a two-piece reclining sofa set, and access to the balcony. Each bedroom has A/C units that are great for the hot summer days. Beds are fully equipped, and there are dressers in each of the rooms for clothing storage. Bathrooms are also fully equipped with toiletries and towels for the convenience of our guests. The balcony is where guests spend most of the time. It includes a BBQ grill, a tall table and three wood benches that sit visitors to enjoy breakfast and lunch with a gorgeous view. Just a few steps further we have a three-piece sitting arrangement with a panoramic view of the ocean and countryside. Our spacious backyard has a few sitting areas where visitors can enjoy fresh air and the sounds of nature at nighttime. Upon request we can install an access ramp. Guest access Guests will have access to the first level, main floor space of the house. The bottom level in the back of the house is an apartment occupied by a tenant, and it is totally independent from the main floor. Access to the property is through a main iron gate, driveway, and then to a side door with an electronic access code. Other things to note There are 2 parking spots for the Airbnb. Also, you can park outside on the street in front of the house, leaving free traffic flow. Place is safe, never had any issues in over 25 years, but it is recommended to lock doors and trunks. House is equipped with Solar Panels and a battery to overcome the power outages. Also, house is equipped with 2 water cisterns with near 1,000 water gallons capacity.
