Blueberry Lodge was designed by renowned architect Piet Van Dijk with an open, modern plan that is conducive to entertaining and social gathering. The space can accommodate the needs of different family arrangements with four bedrooms and en suite bathrooms on the first floor, and a great room on the second floor with multiple living spaces. The lodge has been our family vacation home for 25 years. It is well-suited for relational, multi-generational gathering in a beautiful location. The space The Lodge is 4200 square feet, with four large bedrooms with en suite full baths on the ground floor. Central in-floor heating regulates the ground floor during colder months. A large slate tile patio is on the ground floor with a view of the woods. The master suite contains a king sized bed, dressers, large closets, and a large bathroom with a double shower and vanity. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath with a large shower. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed, a full sized fold out futon and a full bath with shower and tub. The fourth bedroom two twin beds, a queen sized Murphy bed and a full bath with shower. The twin beds in two of the bedrooms can be set up as one king-sized bed upon request. The 2100 ft2 open great room is on the second floor, with distinct spaces for various activities that integrate well. The ceiling is arched with wood beams and windows that allow for lots of natural light. There is a large open kitchen, a dining area that seats 10, lounging area in front of one of the wood stoves, a formal living area, a full bar, a gaming table, a billiards table that doubles as a ping pong table, and a media area with a 55" Smart TV. The Lodge has Satellite DirecTV and high speed fiber internet. There are two large wood burning stoves upstairs and we supply firewood. These stoves are the primary heating source for the second floor and create a cozy ambience. The second floor also has a large exterior deck with a gas grill and cafe table and outdoor seating. Guest access LOCATION AND TRAVEL Ames Hill is a beautiful rural main road with spectacular views. Blueberry Lodge is at the apex of the hill, 8 miles from Brattleboro and 20 miles from Mount Snow. We are near the Marlboro old Muster ground and located along the main road through town. Road walking is safe with some lovely views. In the summer, Marlboro hosts the Marlboro Music Festival, and the Lodge is well-situated for southern Vermont skiing in the winter. The Lodge is quickly accessible to Interstate 91 and Brattleboro in all seasons and convenient for visitors from the south. It’s a great base camp for biking and touring southern Vermont and the tristate corner of MA, NH, and VT. You will need a car. All-wheel drive is recommended. Marlboro is a country town. Please note that access to the Lodge requires driving at least 2 miles on unpaved, well-maintained roads. Blueberry Lodge is equipped with an electric car charger. ACCESSIBILITY This is a two-story home with one step up onto a slate tiled patio to enter. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor. Access to the second floor is by staircase. Guests have access to the full house and grounds, with the exception of the basement. There is closet storage and a laundry room on the ground floor. MUD SEASON Late March and April are slow travel seasons for northern New England. We are available for bookings at lower rates, but cannot understate that the quality of the unpaved roads in a hilly area will be compromised in early spring. You will need 4 wheel drive and experience driving in such conditions to access Blueberry Lodge. You will be asked to confirm that you have both before we confirm your stay during spring mud season. Other things to note At this time, we do not allow pets.

Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful spacious place in the countryside! Large windows facing south, provide beautiful light filled spaces. Large kitchen and dining table in an open concept space, flows into the living room with a large cozy couch, a TV with dvd player—lots of movies to choose from! This is a place you can unplug, unwind, be in nature and connect with loved ones, all while having the comforts of a well stocked home. Only 4 miles from downtown! The space This home is situated on 20 acres, in a sunny meadow, at the end of a road. Only 4 miles from downtown Brattleboro, and within an hour of ski areas. Many swimming holes and other attractions year round! You will have plenty of private space. The house is cozy and spacious. Welcome to beautiful southern Vermont! In the winter, we hope you have good tires and even better-all wheel drive. In hot weather there are 2 AC units in the common spaces, and fans in bedrooms. Guest access No use of the garage, but plenty of parking. There are a couple of rooms that have signs to keep closed. Thank you! Other things to note If you are coming in the winter, please be aware that you will be traveling on back roads. There may be slippery spots, as well as harvest hill can be narrow in places. Good tires are recommended, and ideally all wheel drive. Other times of the year there may be mud. Drive slowly and mindfully on miller road and harvest hill. One or 2 friendly dogs that live with us next door may greet you! Please don’t let them in the house, and feel free to let me know if there is any issue. You are free to hang out in the field/yard surrounding the house!

Fully refurbished 1860's Cape on the site of an old water powered sawmill & small farm. Minutes from town and I-91 with a rural feel. 40 minutes to Stratton or Mt Snow. Private yard, lots of outdoor space, footpath to the brook. Brook sounds reach into the house when windows are open. Porch gets the AM sun, great spot for morning coffee, or just relaxing. Back yard with picnic table & barbeque grill. The space The house has undergone years of restoration. This old house made new. Wide screen TV and a Chromecast device so you can stream from your device. Electric fireplace with infrared heater warms the living room. Pocket doors can separate living room and TV from kitchen/dining area. Den/office with desk and reading chairs also closes off from the rest of the house with pocket doors for a private reading room or study. Sleeper sofa in den/office for additional guests. Family games for kids and adults (does anyone do board games and puzzles anymore?) Laundry and ironing board. There is a barn on the property but the inside of barn is not accessible to guests unless by special request. Guest access The whole house is yours. Both a classic Weber charcoal fired BBQ grill available and a propane fired grill are available. Other things to note There are security cameras that view the driveway. Arrivals and departures are recorded on a closed-circuit system. Extra guests: Regular rates include sleeping accommodations for six people. A sleeper sofa is available for one or two additional guests for a small additional fee.

Cozy Loft Cabin in Vermont with Sauna

Comfortable house for 2 to 4 people (two queen-sized beds) and a pull-out couch for a 5th person and a self-inflatable bed. Located in a quiet neighborhood. There are two main bedrooms with queen beds in each. There is also a pull-out couch in the room with the fireplace though it is not as comfortable as the self-inflatable bed (and deflatable) in the house. Fast Wi-Fi from Xfinity. Easy to get into Brattleboro Center and an excellent location for exploring Southern Vermont. The space Great location to explore Southern Vermont. Thirty-five minutes from Mount Snow and a few more minutes to Stratton Mountain. Lots of cross-country skiing areas near our house as well. Hiking, great biking, and lots of dirt roads five minutes from the house to explore. Blueberry and strawberry picking. Farmer's market is walking distance from the house during the warmer months, and a farmer's market in Brattleboro (10 minutes driving). Brattleboro is fun, and besides a monthly gallery walk (the first Friday of each month), the wonderful movies at Latches, fantastic restaurants, and the artisans in this area have their works displayed in stores on the main street in town. Overall the space is simple and uncluttered (please see photos). Guest access You have access to the entire house (except the attic). We have a washer and dryer in the basement. Updated appliances as well. As mentioned, great Wi-Fi, which for some of us proves to be essential! 3rd Floor Apartment Surrounded by artwork, it is perfect for art lovers and foodies alike. Enjoy the art gallery and Cai’s cooking with friends and family. The attic apartment with slanted ceilings makes cozy spaces, sitting room, eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, a full-body massage chair, a bathroom with a bidet, and outdoor sculptures in the backyard. Art All Around 2nd Fl and 3rd Fl are in the building, it is located above an art gallery and Cai’s Dim Sum Catering in the heart of Brattleboro. The space The entire 1880s Victorian building has been turned into an art and culinary arts center. The third floor self-contained apartment surrounded by art. The first-floor is CX Silver Gallery and Cai's Dim Sum catering service. The back yard is secluded, and off-street parking is available. There is a separate entrance for the apartment through one of the art galleries from the side door towards the back of the building. No smoking and vaping on the premises and no pets. No partying and no excessive drinking. All house rules are not negotiable. The building is on Route 9, 2 miles from downtown Brattleboro, one mile from I-91. This is a second floor apartment in a 100 year old home 1.5 miles from downtown Brattleboro. 3 rooms, plus a small kitchen and private bathroom. Hosts live on the first floor, but you will have a separate entrance. Easy parking for one car. Large backyard. The space It's a charming, 100+ year old house. The walls are lined with art, many of which are original children's book illustrations. There are three rooms, which can be used as 2 bedrooms plus a living room, or as 3 bedrooms, or as a bedroom, a study and a living room, how ever best suits your needs. There is a small kitchen with a small table for two . There is a dining room table in one of the other rooms. There is a new queen sized mattress in the main bedroom. The other two rooms each have single beds that double as sofas. Guest access Guests have their own key and a separate entrance. There is easy parking for one car. Additional cars get a little trickier, but we can figure it out. There is a garage in which you can store your bikes. There is a large backyard that you are welcome to use, with a picnic table and a fire pit. There is a brook and woods at the end of the yard. “Hickory” 4x4 Rustic Cabin Retreat with Fireplace

One bedroom furnished apartment in the country with an incredible meadow and pond view. Ten minutes from exit 2 off I-91; fifteen minutes from Brattleboro. Neighboring farms and nature walks. Brand new back deck! The space The main living space has a full sized fold out futon couch, table with four chairs, kitchen, and a sliding door that leads to a balcony overlooking the meadow. Stairs to the right of the sliding door descend into the garage. The bedroom overlooking the driveway has a queen sized bed, a closet, and dressers. A small washing machine is at the right end of the kitchen and a small dryer is in the bedroom closet. The bath adjacent to the bedroom has a wood lined shower. A heat pump on the wall provides heat and air conditioning. A new (May 2021) deck with stairs descending to the back yard has a spectacular view of our meadow and pond ... just sit back and enjoy the quiet countryside. Wifi and cell phone signal strengths are both strong, sharing our cell phone signal booster and cable internet. The TV has a variety of movies available on an attached USB. Guest access The apartment has its own private entrance in the garage. There is an unheated breezeway between the garage and the main house which makes these separate spaces. Other things to note Our photoelectric array generates all power for the apartment and main house. You may walk in the woods and sit by the pond; however, swimming is not allowed. (The pond is too rocky and slippery.) A baby gate that can block off the stairwell entrance stairwell is in the bedroom closet.

The kitchen is the apothecary where many herbal medicines are being made, and available. Many loose herbs for making tea during your stay! Guest access The whole cabin is your space during your stay! You also have access to the land which includes gardens, fields, and a trail through the forest. Other things to note The outdoor shower is seasonal, may through September and is located a short walk away off the main house. There are towels in your bathroom to take with you, and shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Once in a while it could be in use by others on the land here, but more likely will be open for you.

Although it feels like your own private Eden, it's a seven-mile drive to diverse restaurants and shopping in Brattleboro. Fifteen miles to Mount Snow. The space A roomy timber-frame living room includes comfy furniture, TV, desk space, and garden views through big, bright windows. The recently renovated historic kitchen has a full-size stove and refrigerator, coffee-maker, microwave, and other small appliances. It also has access to a lovely screened-in dining porch, as well as an open porch with views all the way to Mount Ascutney. The space features a spacious bedroom with adjoining closet and bathroom, and views of the back yard. Laundry facilities on premises. Guest access The rental space is a newer addition onto a historic, 18th century house. The old part of the house is closed off to guests, and the hosts or their family members may occasionally be spending time there. But all of the porches and gardens are open to guests for their full enjoyment. Other things to note It should be noted that the television is not cable or satellite, just broadcast, and even with that just a few local channels. There is a DVD player and a few discs, but most people come here for the peace and quiet and local scenery, not for the streaming possibilities!

We can get the fire started for you before your arrival if youd like. Rest deeply on the comfy futon, 2 are available in the space. Also 2 other floor mats are available for extra guests. We provide pillows, blankets, and sheets for you to cozy up your bed. In the wooden chests, we have extra blankets and some pillows for you to use.
