The space The retreat is a private in-law suite IN the basement of the MAIN home. The entrance is private, and the retreat is private with no shared spaces. The suite consists of two bedrooms with one king bed per room, a fully stocked kitchen (no food), private full bath with laundry, and living room with TV. Sleeping Arrangements: The suit consists of two bedrooms with one king bed per room. We have one sofa which can be used for sleeping if additional sleeping accommodation is needed. We allow up to six guests as most people have children. If you have six grown adults, please take note that there are only two king beds and the sofa. Additional accommodation could be made if arranged in advance. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV. We provide 4 bathrobes, two provided in each bedroom. We provided the largest size we could find to ensure everyone can wear the robes. If for some reason the robes do not fit, we apologize in advance. Towels and washcloths can be found in a small white storage bin located in the bathroom on top of the laundry shelf, above the washer and dryer. Additional toilet paper, soap and shampoo may be found under the bathroom sink. If there are no additional products available, please let us know so we can replenish them. Additional kitchen necessities can be found either under the kitchen sink or in the pantry closets located in the kitchen. (coffee, creamer, sugar, paper towels, trash bags, dish/dishwasher soap, etc.) If the products are exhausted, please immediately let us know so we can replenish as necessary. We only have one HVAC for the entire home. We will always strive to keep our guests comfortable. If the temperature is uncomfortable please reach out so we may adjust. For added comfort we have provided several small electric heaters which are in the pantry cabinet located in the kitchen. There are ceiling fans in each room as well. We provide a water cooler with cold water for our guests. If additional water is needed for the water cooler or a vacuum cleaner is needed, please look in the utility closet located adjacent to the kitchen table. We do not provide slippers or flip flops for our guests. If slippers are needed, please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. We will provide a code for entry to the retreat on the day of your arrival. This code is changed after every guest departs. When entering the code please do not force the door as you will jam the lock. Please just enter the code, allow the lock to retrieve fully, then enter. There is a doorknob with lock. Please do not lock the door knob when you leave, as you will not have a key to unlock it upon your return. We do have a key to unlock it if it is accidentally locked. Some of the light switches have tape on them. Please do not remove the tape or shut that switch off. They are required to stay on as the ceiling fans and lights are either controlled by a remote control or pull string. If they are controlled by a remote, the remote should be located near the main power switch. A house book is provided with instructions on the use of equipment, and location of additional supplies/materials.
