Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape. The space The property offers everything your family needs for a quintessential New England vacation. With 200 feet of sea shore front, the land plot has plenty of space right near the water – about 1 acre of green lawn, great beach, shore front fire pit amphitheater, fantastic stone patio for outside dining, great evergreen botanical garden: collection of Japanese maples that have beautiful leaves changing colors three times during the spring, summer and absolutely spectacular during October - November, rosary with a number of David Austin varieties, rhododendron and azalea garden, hydrangeas of different varieties, apple trees and high bush blueberry gardens, peonies, lavender and much more. The main house is situated just 50 feet from the water and the sound of the waves will caress your ears throughout your vacation. The large families will feel comfortable inside the main house with three bedrooms. There are views of the bay and all (9) major Acadia's mountains from both the outdoor deck and living room with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors. An open floor allows for an optimal space to gather multiple generations of your family for a Maine vacation! There are 2 bathrooms, great wooden porch, and sea view balcony. All local attractions such as Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor village, restaurants and shops are just 15-25 minutes away by car. There are tons of great activities for children and the whole family all around! Equipped with fully furnished, gourmet open kitchen, grand dining and family room to entertain as well as plenty of spaces to curl up with a good book, this contemporary style house has everything you could want. The attached guest house (studio) includes additional bedroom (king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa), living room, bathroom, combined washer and dryer, kitchenette (featuring a sink, refrigerator, microwave and a toaster), and a dining area. The guest house is connected to the main house by a gorgeous stone path running through the bushes of hydrangeas, azaleas and many other plants that will create the impression that you live in the garden. It is a great house for a small family or a couple that want to have some privacy. Please read any books available on the shelves or play any board games you see. We have cable TV, but you also may use a DVD player or USB or HDMI cables for connecting to your electronic devices and watching movies. TV is also WiFi connected so you can watch your Internet channels. WiFi works inside the main house and outside. Guest access Linens and towels are provided. Just bring your personal items and sunscreen! You can use anything that looks available (not covered or locked) to you, but only at your own risk and care and you have to return everything you used to the same place where you took them. You can't use bicycles without special permission. Plants in the botanical garden and other plants are not for cutting. Please let us know if you see that any plant does not feel well. Please always have a bucket of water when you make an open fire and do it in the fire pit at the amphitheater only. Other things to note We do not allow pets and smoking in our houses.

Our private driveway brings you through a pine forest and suddenly you are welcomed to our sweeping oceanfront lawn with over 200 feet of a beautiful rocky Maine beach. The house is all yours with 4 large bedrooms, a modern kitchen with professional appliances, and several sitting places. Views are everywhere from the wisteria covered pergola patio, a 2nd floor balcony, and a screened sunroom offering sunsets and the sounds of the ocean. The space Main Floor: There is a beautiful open concept family room and kitchen with eating nook and two sliding glass doors lead to a pergola covered porch covered with wisteria. There is a full professional kitchen with every appliance, double ovens and a walk in pantry. On the patio off of the kitchen and mud room there is a gas grill and lobster cooker. There is a separate full dining room with expandable table. There is a 1st floor king bedroom with ocean views. It is very large with a custom copper fire surround. It is large enough for additional air mattresses or portable cribs! Finally, there is the screened sunporch which is screened on three sides and allows you to enjoy oceanfront living with a cozy fireplace and all the sounds of the ocean. A powder room is on the first floor and don't forget to walk out to the oceanside patio with fire pit! Second floor: There are 3 oceanfront bedrooms. The master bedroom is huge with a king bed, and a private sitting room where you can escape should the house be filled by noisy kids! There is also a private oceanfront balcony for 2- the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee away from everyone else. Oh and a gas fireplace, oceanview desk and wall mounted TV. The master bath is HUGE with a walk in closet, double vanity, and a marble walk in shower. The other two bedrooms are large and comfy - both are oceanfront and one has a king bed and the other a queen. The king second bedroom is large enough that it also has a twin futon sofa for any little ones that don't want to sleep too far from mom and dad. Finally, the upstairs has the second full bathroom with double vanity and another large walk in shower. There is also a laundry room with full washer and dryer. Guest access Guests have access to the entire first and second floor and all 12 acres outside including the ocean access. There is one locked maid's closet on the second floor and the basement is locked for storage and not accessible by guests.

Located 20-25 mins. to downtown Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park Visitor Center. The house sits on 5.5 acres with 525 ft of gravel & mud beach front. We have another vacation home located next to this house. It can be rented together accommodating up to 15 guests. Both homes has its own driveway, parking for multiple vehicles, back yard, & stairs to the beach. The house sits on a bluff with great views of the Western Bay Cove & the mountains of Acadia. It accommodates 8 guests providing 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main level. 4th bedroom is accessed via soft stairs to a private loft not visible from the main level. The first level features a wrap around deck with outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. The deck hugs half of the house. The dining area has direct access to the deck. A fully stocked kitchen. Two full baths. Master bedroom has comfortable king size bed, en-suite bath, & closet. Two other bedrooms has queen size beds and walk in closets. One of bedroom with queen bed offers a nice ocean view. All 3 bedrooms on the main level has smart TV's. Living room features a comfortable sofa, love seat and a swivel oversized chair to enjoy our giant 86 inch smart TV. Dining table seats 8. Kitchen is fully stocked. Full size appliances includes fridge / freezer, electric oven / stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, drip carafe & k-cup coffee makers with complimentary start up coffee. The 4th bedroom / loft is accessed via soft L shaped stairs offering privacy for its occupants at its location. It has twin over twin beds ( 38 inches wide, 75 inches long mattresses each). It offers 360 views of its surrounding via its small windows. Access to the upper twin bed is via safe side steps. Outdoor living, offers multiple areas. Wrap around deck has outdoor seating. Firewood fed fire pit has 3 twin wooden chairs surrounding it. We provide start up firewood with fire starting materials stored in a small plastic bin close to the pit. Fire pit is perfect for making s'mores and the unique experience of strong heat with crackling sound from the burning wood. Further down towards the beach is another deck for al fresco outdoor dinning. It features a dining table, 6 chairs, and a propane fired grill. Connected to this deck are the stairs leading to the beach where a secured dock sits by the beach with our complimentary kayaks and Adirondack chairs. The steps to the beach are a little steep for most people. The dock is perfect for daytime reading, lounging, and stargazing. If lucky, you will see seagulls peck clams, fly them up in the air and drop them to break and access their meal. Comb the beach and look for washed up treasures. Create wonderful memories with your family and friends! Guest access Full access to the house with private parking, private yard, private steps to the beach, and private dock sitting on the beach with complimentary kayaks and Adirondack chairs. Other things to note Oct 27, 2025- we just installed Reverse Osmosis filtration system for the kitchen sink fountain faucet. The water dispenser in the fridge has its own water filtration cartridge. We have heat pumps that provides AC in the warm months and heating in the cold months. We have electric base board heating system as secondary heat source. We provide startup firewood for the outdoor fire pit. We have complimentary pack n play and baby high chair. Guests with service animals are encouraged to notify the host / owner because of severe animal (dander & hair)allergy by one of the owners / host who is closely engaged with maintaining the property. Due to medical reasons we are unable to host any guests with animals. Outdoor furniture & kayaks are not available during the cold months. Typically from November to March. Propane grill may be available upon request during cold months. The space Beautiful restored farm on 10 acres with private ocean access. Unparalled views of Acadia Mountains. Private, quiet street but just a 15 minute drive to hiking and biking in Acadia and restaurants and shopping in Bar Harbor. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms with ocean views and one bath. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms and one and a half baths. There is also an outdoor shower for summer use. Living room, dining room and family room have ocean views. 2 bikes and 5 kayaks are available for use. Kayak right in front of our house and enjoy the seals feeding and Bald Eagles flying overhead. Enjoy lobster dinners and late night fires in our fireplace. Very large selection of books in our library. A great base from which to explore coastal Maine or just to relax. Guest access As our guests, you have access to the entire house, kayaks, bikes, outdoor games, indoor ping pong in garage. depending on the season, we have dozens and dozens of blueberry and raspberry bushes for your picking pleasure. I also have strawberries in early summer and kale and herbs for most of the summer. Other things to note There is a very wide, private grass path leading to the ocean. It is a gentle slope about 700 feet. At the end of this path, steps have been dug into the hill for the walk down to water. This may not be suitable for the very elderly or those unable to complete a very mild hike.

This IS your spot. Be sure to ask about earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re concerned about traffic noise. In the bedrooms, you’ll notice the details and charming touches; beautiful quilts, original photography, and collectible posters of iconic local landmarks. The bathroom has been updated with a new vanity, a well-lit mirror, and custom tile and trim and is stocked with towels, washcloths, and hand towels, as well as toiletries, and a hairdryer. We have the luxury of being just feet from the bridge that leads to MDI and Acadia National Park but that also means that we are on the main artery that leads to the park. It gets busy with road traffic from Route 3 and air traffic from the small BHB airport. If you are a light sleeper and want to be deep in nature, this may not be the best spot for you. If you are looking for a relaxed, rustic vibe with what we consider to be the very best location to get to all things Acadia?! This IS your spot. Be sure to ask about earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re concerned about traffic noise. Outdoor Amenities: During warmer months the scenic grounds are vibrant with flower boxes, gardens, lush lawns, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables shaded by umbrellas and mature trees. Trenton, like many towns in coastal Maine, often hosts local events, festivals, and fairs celebrating the area’s maritime heritage and culture. These events can range from seafood festivals to craft fairs. A rental car or private vehicle is highly recommended as public transportation is not readily available. We are located on route 3 and on the island explorer bus route, so you can leave your car here and ride the bus for free (late June - Mid October). The town of Trenton is known for its gorgeous harbors and ocean views; it borders the western shore of Union River Bay. Guests have access to Trenton’s water-based activities such as kayaking, boating, and fishing with a nearby public boat launch.
