It's a classic New England home plenty of charm, on the best block in East Rock, around the corner from East Rock Park and the Mill River. Very walkable area! Can add double/queen mattresses in children's rooms, should you need more room for adults. The space This is a two family house. The bottom floor has two, very quiet tenants. There are two entrances: a back entrance and a front. Both have a flight of stairs to get to the second floor, which is where our duplex begins. On the first floor of our duplex (which is the second floor of the house), there is a new, modern kitchen with high-end appliances. There is a guest room with a Peloton (we can remove, if you'd like) and a queen bed. There is one bathroom on this floor, next to the bedroom, with a tub/shower. There is a TV room with a big, comfy couch. There is a formal living room and a formal dining room. There is an office/ children's art room (this can also be an additional room for a bed, should you need). On the second floor, there is a king-sized primary bedroom. There is a room with a crib (we can take out and add a double bed if needed). There is a room with a child's twin bed (we can take out and add a double bed if needed). There is one bathroom. There is a landing area with new washer and dryer. The backyard is lovely with a patio, a Solo stove, a gas grill, and a grassy area to run and play. Driveway parking can fit several cars. We are one block from East Rock Park and two blocks from Edgerton Park. We are a ten minute walk to Elena's (ice cream), Atticus (high end grocer), Poppy's (brunch/lunch spot), Wine Thief (wine store), Peabody Museum! "Best block in New Haven," according to many locals. We're available one text or phone call away! Other things to note We work hard to avoid hiccups, but as humans, hiccups happen. We encourage all guests to let us know if there is anything that needs attention so that we can assist in a timely manner, to the best of our ability. Please report any damage found upon check-in. After the fact doesn't help much. We have a hard enough time remembering what we ate for breakfast. (We mean that in the nicest way possible) Our cleaners take detailed time stamped photos and videos prior to each guest checking in to ensure cleanliness and home condition accountability to ensure we provide the highest level of hospitality for our guests! We can't control the behavior of others. We will not assume any liabilities for injuries. Come stay in our cozy home and have a quiet night in and play some board games, cook a nice dinner, watch a movie or go out on the town. 1 mile to Shubert theater! The space You have your own 3 bedroom apartment that has 3 queen sized beds and a fold out couch to accommodate up to 8 guests! Free laundry, WiFi, cable tv, roku tv and street parking. Quiet 1 way street in the city. We are very close to Yale, downtown, and the famous Frank Pepe’s pizza! Guest access The entire apartment is yours with its own smart lock enabled entrance. Other things to note An extra cleaning fee will be charged if you or your guests break the no smoking indoors policy.
