The Dining table will seat 6 with an additional 5 stools at the peninsula bar. Outdoor dining on the deck seats 4. Our condo is conveniently located to all that Carolina Beach has to offer - there are many rental places nearby for bikes, paddle boards and beach chairs & umbrellas. Please park in one of our three included spaces and walk to everything! (NOTE - DO NOT PARK IN THE EMPTY GRAVEL LOT NEXT TO OUR BUILDING - THEY WILL TOW!) Please only park in spots marked as 300-100. We do have sleeping arrangements for (9) people and the ideal maximum number of adults is probably (8) for the most comfortable stay. Gas golf carts are allowed and must still be parked in only the designated parking spaces for our condo. Please do not rent an electric golf cart for your stay as you will not be allowed to keep it at our place. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire condo (minus the 2 locked Owner's closets in the main hallway), however, the stairs and hallway will be accessed by guest in other condos within the building. There are 5 total units. Ours is on the first floor with approximately 16 steps up to the entrance of the condo. Other things to note We will provide starters for hand soap (refilled dispensers), dish soap (refilled dispenser), dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, trash bag, scrubber sponge, toilet paper and paper towels. Once the starters are used, it's the guests' responsibility to replenish for the duration of their stay. We do not provide toiletries - please plan to bring your own for your individual needs. We do have (6) beach chairs in the condo (laundry room closet) for guest use. Please bring your own beach towels, bath soap, shampoo & conditioner and other toiletries as needed. We also supply bed linens and bath towels for your stay. If you need additional beach chairs or an umbrella, there are rentals available by the hour/day very close by and they will even set them up on the beach for you! Staying here is a dream: beachfront views and access to the shore by our structure’s private boardwalk with foot hose, outdoor shower and benches. You will have the ocean out front and the lake with farmers market and playground out back. We have a child’s play house, swing and slide on the sand. We provide two beach chairs, Shibumi sunshade, boogie board, skim boards, and more for you to enjoy! The space This is a duplex You have full use of the first floor home and it is completely private from the other unit. You do partially share the deck. you do need to go up one flight of stairs to get to this unit, as the carport is on the first level. It is fully self contained. There is another unit that occupies the upper two floors, and they will share the parking below the house and the boardwalk out to the ocean. Guest access You have full access to the first floor home and porch. There is a lovely child’s play area on the sand below the boardwalk with slide, swing and clubhouse. That is available to everyone in the house. There are full laundry facilities inside the home. You may also store your boards, bikes and beach chairs below the house in the carport. Other things to note We are walking distance to just about everything on the island — a big fireworks display can be seen every Thursday night right from the deck! There is a weekly craft and farmers market as well as outdoor family movie projections, bingo nights outdoors at the boardwalk, live music... and so much more available by a short walk down the beach. A brand new play structure has been installed by the lake which is a short walk and viewable from the back windows. There are private surf and paddle board lessons as well as week long camps also just a short walk down the sand. We are so perfectly located, but without the heavy crowds of the hotels. You can also walk or bike to restaurants and coffee shops. We also supply the following for each property: A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply beach towels.

Walk to the boardwalk where you will find multiple shops, restaurants (including the famous Britt's Donuts), bars and some carnival rides OR walk to the North End where you can build fires and use one of our coolers to bring your own alcoholic beverages (just no glass) to drink on the beach. Public beach access is about two buildings down on either side of the townhome. Comes with 2 covered parking spaces right outside of the ground access, where you will find an outdoor shower, beach accessories for your use, and a full size washer and dryer. Above this is the newly renovated main living unit, where you will find the open concept kitchen with marble countertops, dining, living room, large balcony, and the first bathroom. All 3 bedrooms and the second bathroom are located on the 3rd level with hardwood floors. Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with doorway directly into shared upstairs bathroom. Queen bed. You have full access to the driveway and a keyless entry. Other things to note Beds are NOT pre-made. For your comfort, linens are left clean and folded on the edge of each bed. This allows guests to inspect and ensure that the mattress and linens have been cleaned. You may request for our cleaning crew to pre-make the beds if you communicate this ahead of time, for a small fee. Please pick up dog mess outside and throw into outdoor trash can upon departure. There are bags provided in the backyard. We love and welcome your fur babies (two dogs per stay) for a total fee of $120. Any additional dog will be $120 extra per dog. The Digs is located on the top floor of a riverfront duplex on the Cape Fear River. Just steps from the Snows Cut Trail which takes you directly to Carolina Beach State Park, a 420 acre park with waterfront beaches, hiking trails, and activities. This home is only 5 minutes to the white sandy beach and a short walk to the boat ramp. With a bright and cozy interior, this house has everything you'll need. Relax with a cocktail on one of the large private patios and watch the sunset over the river. Our hope is that you will enjoy the slow life, relax and reconnect. Maybe catch a fish or more importantly, a nice sun tan. The screened in back porch is our favorite place to wake up with a cup of coffee or watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand. The coastal wildlife seems to come alive in the morning and right before sunset. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials for you to cook a meal with family and friends. Make sure to save at least one night to enjoy one of our favorite local restaurants because the food in CB is GOOD and the drinks are even better. We made sure to stock sunscreen, beach towels and beach chairs to help you relax at the beach. Both bathrooms are stocked with the best smelling body wash and soft bath towels. Each bedroom has top of the line memory foam mattresses and fresh white linens. In the cooler months, our living room is our perfect place to spend time with friends or by yourself curled up on the couches with your favorite book or just watch the boats pass by. The modular couch pulls out to a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. We do have neighbors that also rent their space and we ask that you keep noise to a minimum. The riverfront is a quiet place and we ask that everyone be respectful. If you're looking to have a party - this is not the house.
