So, whether you are here for business, visiting family and friends, or wanting to explore a new town, this hidden gem will not disappoint. The space This, recently updated, 1365 sq. ft. suite is located on the second floor of a historic downtown building, with many local attractions nearby. Enjoy stepping back into time in each unique space of this sprawling downtown suite! Upon entering, through your private entrance, you will go up a flight of stairs to the second level. You will find a welcoming foyer that leads ahead into your kitchenette and dining area. Your kitchenette offers a mini fridge, microwave, and Primo hot/cold water dispenser equipped with a k-cup option. The modern dining set seats up to 6. To the right of the foyer, you will find your bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet, and standing shower. To the left of the foyer, you will find ‘The Casual Fashion’- the first, and largest, bedroom equipped with a complete queen size bedroom set and desk. This room is inspired by the popular women’s fashion store that occupied this building in the mid-late 1900’s. After going through either the dining room or bathroom, both rooms will lead you into a large living room. This room is where you can find the Roku Smart TV for your enjoyment during your stay. Please note, there is no cable TV. Beyond this room, there are 2 additional bedrooms that face the main street. The bedroom to the right, ‘The Bloomberg’, is equipped with a queen size bedroom set. This room is inspired by Bloomberg’s Clothing Store- the historic men’s and boy’s shop that occupied this building in the early-mid 1900’s. The bedroom to the left ‘The Studio’ is equipped with a full-size bed and dresser. This room is inspired by O’Brien Studio, a stained glass shop that operated here in the late 1900’s-early 2000’s. Guest access There is no part of this suite that is restricted. You will have the entire place all to yourselves! There is a private entrance with free city street parking out front. The suite is in a historic downtown district with many residents and establishments nearby. We ask that you be kind and courteous to them by respecting our house rules! Guilford Lake Cottage w/ Hot Tub & Water Views

This main part of this house was built around the early 1900s. It hasn't had major updates since the 1960s. As such, it comes with some expected quirks. Our goal has been to make this older farmhouse a place of refreshment and rest, providing the basic amenities modern guests have come to expect, while maintaining an atmosphere of days gone by. We hope our guests feel welcome and at peace during their stay with us. The space We are happy to welcome families with small children and/or infants, but want to make you aware that the house is not specifically prepared for small children: i.e., we do not have gates on the stairways, or other special "baby-proofing" features. If having these safety features is important to you, and you are booking for an extended stay (1 week or more), we'd be happy to accomodate your family's needs as far as possible. We are willing to dialogue about this. Guest access There is a small yard immediately surrounding the house, which guests are free to enjoy. While we are happy for guests to enjoy the view of the adjacent farm, we request that no one enter through any pasture gates, etc., in order not to disrupt any of the farm activities. Thank you for your understanding! Other things to note The basement is not remodeled to be usable space for guests. However, guests are welcome to access the washer and dryer that are at the bottom of the basement stairs. Please note that we typically have A/C window units installed in each of the bedrooms and in the kitchen from June - September. (This timeframe might vary slightly due to weather patterns.) Please verify before your arrival if you want to be sure that A/Cs are installed for your stay. Or if, during your stay, you decide you would like to have the A/Cs installed, don't hesitate to ask! You have the whole house, a front porch to relax on, smokeless firepit & seating, secluded patio out back with pergola, another seating area and a private 7 person hot tub! Bikes and toys for kids, and welcome public access to over a dozen playsets right next door on our sales lot. Play to your heart's content! 2 car garage with level 2 EV charger available. The space There are 3 rooms and a full bath on the second floor. 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. The third room is dual purpose, with a workstation and a futon which could also sleep 2. There is a 1/2 bath with toilet and sink on the main floor. The kitchen includes refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a table for 4. The cozy living room has an electric fireplace and flat screen tv. There is a washer and dryer on the main floor, and an ironing board and iron upstairs. There is a detached 2 car garage with 8x7 garage doors which are available for your use, as well as lots of room for additional parking. We are still working at creating a cozy outdoor patio and dining experience along with a 7 person hot tub, and more amenities to follow! Guest access Guests are welcome to the entire house and 2 car garage. There is also a yard around the house that can be played in. The business next door has a couple dozen very large kids' playsets on display, and you are welcome to try them all out! We also have a free level 2 EV charger in the garage.

Hunting Zepernick Lake State Wildlife Area, east of the park on State Route 172, offers public hunting and fishing. Guest access Ramp to main cabin door. Bedroom with queen bunk beds on main floor. Drive right up to our back ramp to the house’s back door, no step entryway or park above the cabin and climb down the hill to the cabin. Enjoy our waterfront cottage. See the local wildlife from the lake side wall of windows. Feel free to roll up your sleeves and carry the kayaks (located in the garage) down to the dock for a day on the water. Bring your fishing gear and toss in a line from the private dock to try to catch any of the local species. Sip beverages on the lakeside porch while the sun goes down. Have an outdoor meal on the garage side covered patio. Inside or out, enjoy the lake side tranquility of our cottage. The space The house is perfect for a couple's retreat or small family get-away. There are 2 bedrooms total. One master downstairs with a queen bed and one bedroom upstairs with two twin beds. There is also a smaller sofa/futon for extra sleeping space in the loft/office area. There are two porches/patios to enjoy: one covered and one with a lake view. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house (minus an owner's closest & the crawlspace) Other things to note The stairs are STEEP and the headroom is TIGHT. We find going down the stairs sideways helps. Just don't want to mislead anyone! Also, from November to February/March the city lowers the lake level making fishing & kayaking from the dock impossible.

Make memories at this unique and family-friendly cottage. You'll enjoy time spent at this cozy home. Enjoy the lovely patio, BBQ grill and firepit. *******(2/8/26): The lake has been drained for repair work to the dam. The lake will not be re-filled until 2027. The space Cozy spaces for a family or small group. Fully stocked kitchen that will meet your needs whether dining in or out. There is also a beautiful four seasons room with a sleeper sofa. The outdoor spaces are lovely and provide plenty of seating areas for guests to spread out and relax. Spend time beside the firepit, playing cornhole, grilling on the BBQ or just enjoying your day! The main bedroom has a king bed; the second bedroom has a new bunkbed with a full-size lower bunk and twin upper. There is also a new sofa sleeper in the four-season room. Other things to note ****Guilford Lake is currently being drained for repair work to the dam scheduled for spring of 2026. (Official lake notice below) The lake will return to normal water levels in 2027 Dam Rehabilitation Update (1/27/26): Water levels at Guilford Lake are being lowered approximately one foot per week (began December 1st; 21 feet total). The lake is closed to ice fishing — all ice should be considered unsafe and avoided during the drawdown. No long-term road closures are anticipated, but the lake will close during the construction phase. ****The wood stove in the living room is not operational at this time.

"Rest A While". Enjoy our private guest suite that features a large main living area where the kitchenette and dining area are also located, a separate bedroom and private bath. This suite is located on the lower level of our raised ranch and requires the ability to use six steps. Check yourself in at the private front entrance with keypad. Driveway parking spot with paved lighted walkway to the entrance. The space Our guest suite offers a comfortable living area featuring a couch, recliner and a desk. The couch is not a sofa bed, so sleeping on it is prohibited. The kitchenette has a stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, and space to store your grocery items. There is a dinette where you can enjoy your meals. Home made breakfast muffins, cereal and milk, fruit and yogurt, coffee, tea and snacks are provided. More items are added for longer stays. The bedroom was updated January 1. 2025, to a king bed. Bed linens and extra pillows are provided. The bedroom also has a chair, storage for your personal items, a lamp table and a closet. Our bathroom features a walk-in shower with corner seat and grab bars for your safety. Plenty of bath linens are provided, as well as shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. We provide a portable crib/playpen, but limit children to one infant 12 months or younger. Need some time outdoors? Enjoy our back yard featuring a gazebo, garden pond and seasonally changing flower beds. We are also only five miles from popular Guilford Lake where you can enjoy public picnic and swimming areas. Guest access As our guest you have full access to a private suite with your own easy keypad entrance. Your entry code will be provided prior to your arrival. Other things to note No smoking is allowed on the premises. Wifi is provided, but no TV . No guests are allowed who are not registered in the booking. The suite is one bedroom with one king bed. If this does not fit your requirements for sleeping arrangements DO NOT book this suite. We DO NOT allow sleeping on the couch as it is not a sofa bed. No children over 12 months of age permitted as we only have a portable crib. No EV charging or crypto mining.

The Getaway at Guilford Lake is the perfect place to relax only a little over an hour from Pittsburgh. This over-sized lake house offers 4 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Located in Guilford Lake State Park, the house overlooks Guilford Lake and lake access is through the park directly across the street. Enjoy the basement game-room filled with jigsaw puzzles, board games, TV, darts and a Foosball table. Outside amenities include corn hole, fire pit and 4 kayaks. Come and “Stay Awhile.” Other things to note ***The Guilford Lake dam project begins in September 2025 and will continue until Memorial Day 2027. Due to this important infrastructure project, the lake will be drained for the end of 2025 and the full 2026 season. Unfortunately, this means there will be no boating, swimming or fishing during this time period. We share this information to be fully transparent with our valued guests. ***

Our descriptions and pictures accurately show a great room which includes a kitchen, dining, and office work areas. There is a full bathroom and private queen size bedroom. In addition, there is a large private deck and yard. We have added a twin bed for an additional guest at an additional $50 per night fee. Guest access The apartment is located in our home with a separate keyed outside entrance. The house is built into the hillside & the apartment is on the lower level with full views of nature. You must take the outside stairs near the front door to the lower yard & walk all the way around the deck to the last set of sliding doors to gain entry. WARNING! If you have any kind of physical challenges, this property can be difficult to navigate with steps and it's rough terrain. Other things to note We require verification of ID prior to & upon arrival. If you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. With that being said, living in the woods means you are going to see various insects, spiders, snakes and woodland creatures. We do have Orkin services to help control the spider, insect and animal population but it is not 100% full proof. If you are frightened by woodland creatures then this is not the place for you! You'll be close to the conveniences of town, but surrounded by the calming peace & beauty of the country. While we welcome families with infants and children, please be aware that this space is not specifically arranged with little people in mind. It is best suited for adults. Ask if you have questions! The space A cozy little cottage that looks like a log cabin on the outside. This is an older home with quirks, but has an updated kitchen and bathroom. Lovely outdoor porch and deck with seating. Outdoor pizza oven is not really in usable condition. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the outdoor deck, front porch, and the immediate yard surrounding the house. If you would like to go for a walk in the woods or elsewhere on the farm property, PLEASE ASK first, so I can show you what property is ours, and ensure your safety and the privacy of our neighbors. Other things to note There is a brick pizza oven outside that guests are welcome to experiment with if they desire. However, the host does not guarantee the usability of the oven or offer advice on its use. Part of that space has a grate where you can grill over charcoal (to be provided by the guest).

A valid Ohio fishing license is required. Hunting Zepernick Lake State Wildlife Area, east of the park on State Route 172, offers public hunting and fishing.
