Basecamp is our updated and spacious Stowe property centrally located minutes from both the mountain and town that can comfortably sleep Families of up to 16 (+ 2 infants). In the summer, enjoy the expansive outdoor patio, lawn, fire pit, and hot tub / pool area. In the winter enjoy easy access to Stowe and Trapp Resorts, and relax in the hot tub before cooking large family meals in the expansive kitchen. The large, open floor plan is ideal for extended families and respectful, low-key groups. The space The property is spread out over the main house and connected multi story above garage apartment, covering over 5,000 square feet and completely updated in the Spring of 2022. The house opens up onto a wonderful backyard patio where families can enjoy the heated pool (seasonally), hot tub, lounge area, dining tables, BBQ Grills, fire pit, swing set, and rolling back yard. The main house has a spacious open floor plan consisting of the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The Kitchen is incredibly well equipped with dining set ups for both indoor and outdoor meals. The kitchen has an eat at counter in addition to the large dining table for out largest of groups. Off the kitchen is a large pantry/ laundry room that also has a second fridge and additional prep area / storage space. This space opens up to the backyard from 2 different entrances on opposite ends of this main floor, creating a great flow from indoors to the outdoors. There are 4 bedrooms with attached private bathrooms, one large kids bedroom with 5 twin beds, and an open loft space with one queen bed and sleep sofa. Off the Primary bedroom on the main floor of the house there is a nursery set up with crib and a number of amenities for our smallest guests (including a second travel crib for families with more than one little). In terms of details, all bedrooms have cozy cotton sheets, down comforters in duvets covers, new pillows, white noise machines, and blackout curtains. In the summer months, each bedroomhas a portable AC unit and all have either a ceiling fan or box fan. Each full or 3/4 bathroom throughout the house (there are 6 in total) has a guest amenity kit, hair dryer, Shampoo/ conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. We also leave ample stock of TP. Other bonus spaces include a second kitchen and living room in the Apartment, a lounge room with TV and ping pong table, a second back deck off the apartment, and access to the garage for gear storage. The house is truly set up to delight our guests, and we have kept every large and small detail in mind to make for an amazing stay. The main level features an expansive great room with cathedral ceilings and sliding doors that open onto the deck. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast island with bar stools, and a Subzero fridge. The great room includes a comfortable lodge-style living area with a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining area that looks out on to a wrap-around deck. Steam shower room as well as 2 of the 5 bathrooms have recently been renovated. The front entry opens in the 40 foot long Great Room with two separate seating areas, one centered on the stone fireplace, and a second large sectional for games and conversation. The view across the back yard is focused directly on Stowe Pinnacle. The dining/kitchen area is made for large groups. There is a six burner range with an additional flat top grill and two ovens. The dining room table can easily accommodate 10+ adults. If you would like some quiet time, relax and read in the library or sit in the Hot Tub after a long day on the slopes. Every room has its own unique character and flare, from the summer room with mounted taxidermy to the Asian inspired bedroom with King on the first floor. The Kitchen and Living Room are an open floor plan w 22ft ceilings and Big windows with full mountain views. The Top floor is the 3rd bedroom w a Queen and its own private full bathroom The space This is a 5 bedroom chalet split into two seperate units. Great for a couple families or a group of friends. It is located on the backside of downtown so you can avoid all the traffic and are a few hundred yards from the only grocery store in town. You want to venture to Morrisville and the brewery’s, you are a close ten minute drive. The upstairs main part of house is a 3br 2 bathroom home with a large open kitchen and living room area. The downstairs is a seperate 2 br 1bath suite with a small kitchen and open living room with full view of Mt. Mansfield from the couch (best seat in the house, in my opinion) The upstairs deck has a grill, full views of Mt. Mansfield as well as all the stars on a clear night.
