There are multiple flights of stairs on this property which may affect those with special accessibility needs. 3. No keys to lose or to return- woohoo! You can enter with your personal smart lock code that will be sent to you in a message after you book! 4. We do politely ask guests to respect quiet hours from 10pm-8am both inside and outside for our neighbors. 5. If you use the firepit we ask that you make sure that the fire is fully put out before you head back inside the main house. 6. If you use the hot tub, please put the cover on it when you’re finished! The hot tub is professionally cleaned and disinfected in between every guest stay. 7. You’re in the mountains, so please be aware that we have bears that can roam around! Do not leave any food in your car, keep the windows up and the car locked at all times. Be sure to pack bug spray as well. Please use caution walking around the home in the wooded areas, copperhead snakes are native to this region. Our Policies: NO SMOKING INSIDE: Please refrain from smoking of any kind inside the home! This includes cigarettes, cigars, vapes, drugs, candles, etc. Any smoking evidence, including vapes, will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. NO PARTIES/EVENTS: We do not allow parties or events unless it is previously approved by us. Tucked away on 2 private wooded acres, this peaceful retreat brings together the best of modern comfort and rustic charm. Sitting on a hillside, Pointer's Peak offers amazing views of the mountain ranges, whether you’re relaxing on the back deck, soaking in the hot tub, or sitting around the fire pit. Come enjoy a relaxing escape that perfectly blends comfort with the beauty of nature! The space Inside, you find a giant wall of windows showcasing that million dollar view! Lots of comfortable seating to spread out. You'll stay warm and cozy with the 2-sided wood burning fireplace and large 65 inch smart TV for streaming or use Dish network satellite service and a DVD player. A Bluetooth sound bar system allows for great TV sound and easy to use for music too. We stock the cabin with firewood in season, so you should be all set! There is a cabinet filled with all kinds of family board games for aIl ages. In the kitchen, your chef will appreciate the stainless steel appliances. We have upgraded to a flat top stove and convection oven for easy baking. We also have a stocked cabinet full of pots, pans, baking equipment, and even 2 kinds of roasting pans for those holiday dinners. The refrigerator and freezer have plenty of room, there is also a second refrigerator/freezer downstairs for extra storage. We have a coffee station with both a Keurig and conventional drip pot. Mugs and coffee/tea/hot chocolate supplies are stored directly above. There is a breakfast bar with 2 log stools, and seating for 6 tucked right in front of the fireplace on a beautiful log table with an antler chandelier for that rustic feel. You can easily seat your whole group of 10 for family meals with the breakfast bar and card table set if you prefer. The breakfast bar area is also set up for device charging with an outlet and USB ports. Behind that you will find a brand new in 2022 full tiled bath with a huge glass and tile walk in shower, make vanity area with lighted mirror and door into the master suite. Convenient first floor master bedroom with views of the woods. Rustic decor complete that cabin feel. Comfy king-sized bed, new gel cooling mattress, in a gorgeous log frame and log furniture complete the room. Bedside lamps have easy touch on switches and a USB port for overnight charging. The new screen porch has outdoor living room furniture, a 50 inch outdoor TV with streaming and DISH network and a gas fire place to warm up with. There are 2 hammock style swings to relax in and take in the views. Outside the porch door as you step onto the deck, you'll find lots of seating to take in the view. You can dine with your group with those jaw dropping views, or slip into the huge brand new hot tub and take in the majestic mountain views by day or the 1000's of stars at night. Soak up the stunning views in the cozy rockers on the main deck. There are even some child sized chairs for the smaller members of your group. Upstairs, you will find a sunny reading loft with views of the mountains, the woods, and down into the great room space. You will also find a corner desk set up for if you must work a bit while on vacation. You find a printer, USB outlets, and extra plug ins. You have a killer view of the mountains from there, don't be surprised if you get distracted. An oversized leather chair, and a reading lamp complete the loft space. Upstairs is also the second master bedroom with a modern rustic vibe complete with a black metal bed, eclectic dresser and faux cow rug. It has a brand new luxury mattress that has had many positive reviews! This room has great views of both the woods and the mountains. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twins suitable for adults or children. The bedside lamps offer easy touch on switches and USB outlets for overnight charging. There is a Jack & Jill bathroom shared between those 2 bedrooms. It has a deep soaking tub, shower, modern trough sink and extended dressing area with plenty of storage for everyone. Each bedroom has a sound machine with a night light for kids or to help drown out any noise throughout the cabin. All 4 bedrooms feature beautiful crisp clean quilts and 550 thread count pure cotton sheets for that restful mountain air sleep! Plenty of fluffy towels in all 3 bathrooms for all of your guests, lovely bathroom amenities, and even special makeup towels to make that job easy. Mountain luxury at it's finest! We have partnered with Beekman 1802 to bring you pure, spa quality bath and soap products. These luxury goat's milk products that you will find in the bathrooms are free of preservatives, additives and light on fragrance, making them ideal for anyone. They are made in upstate NY, and we are proud to provide this level of high end amenities for our guests. The lower level is all about fun and games!! There is a dart board, shuffleboard table and foosball table to challenge your opponents. You'll also find a 55 inch smart TV and stone gas fireplace to relax by on chilly nights while you are waiting for your turn to play. You'll also find a beautiful queen log bed and futon/sofa sleeper for those last 4 guests in the big game room area. There is a 3rd full bathroom with a tub shower combo and full size laundry machines tucked away in the back part of the room. Laundry supplies included. Outside, the lower level door to the right you will find a great fire pit to gather your group and make some memories. We have also added a new patio, lounge chairs, a hammock and a porch swing to take in the views that are amazing even from the lower level. Cushions for the lounges and the hammock are stored are stored next to the lower level fireplace inside the door to keep them dry and critter free! We have also just added a corn hole set for your use. Our new patio is set up as the perfect long space to have your own family tournament. :) We provide a good supply of firewood for the living room and fire pit area in season. We restock when needed. It is logical to assume that there will be plenty for your stay, but if it has been used up, there are many local vendors to around. We have a Pack & Play travel crib that can be put out for you upon request. We provide a sheet, but ask that you provide all blankets or other bedding that your child may need. We do keep a fold up full size high chair with a washable tray liner in the lower level that can be adjusted for both leg height and recline to accommodate all ages. As mentioned, there are sound machines with night lights in each bedroom. We also believe that 4 legged family members count too and ! We provide a food and water bowl, dog treats, a leash, and poop bags in case you forgot yours. We don't believe in extra pet fees, but we do require you to clean up after your dog. Guest access Guests have use of the entire cabin, except the locked closets on the lower level that belong to the cleaner. Other things to note Our private mountain escape is located right in the middle of the Aska Adventure area. We are only 29 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with great farm to table restaurants, craft breweries, and home of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad. The Aska Adventure area is known for it's hiking and mountain biking trails, river rafting and tubing on the nearby Toccoa river. If you log in to YouTube, there are multiple channels with local mountain biking rides. The famous Toccoa River Swinging Bridge is 17 miles away. There are outdoor adventures for everyone in your group! Of course our favorite activity is relaxing on the deck with a book, taking in those views! The Toccoa River restaurant serves up local trout in a variety of ways, a must try! The scenic mountain roads on the way to our cabin are a combination of gravel and pavement. Once you turn onto Week's Creek Rd, they become steep and winding in some areas. They can be accessed in normal weather by any kind of vehicle. In snowy or icy conditions, an All-Wheel or 4-Wheel drive vehicle may make your trip easier, especially as it gets more steep at the top. A reminder that we share the outside with Mother Nature. You can reasonably expect to encounter all kinds of creatures outside. Those include fun ones to look at, and some scary undesirables too. You will see lots of deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and birds. You may see a bear or 2 sniffing around the garbage cans, and there is always a chance of venomous snakes in the area. Two bear proof trash cans can be found outside the front porch. All trash should be bagged and placed inside the trash cans, closing and locking the trash cans when done. We have not seen any snakes, but know they are native to our area. Please be aware when hiking, or walking around, especially in the "rough" areas. Keep an eye on children and pets. There are ticks too, please use the bug spray under the kitchen sink if you need protection.

The wrap around main level deck is great for entertaining guests, having breakfast at the small log-style table, or the outdoor wood burning fireplace with rocking chairs. The rocked entry way opens up to the main level to the kitchen with a stone front breakfast bar, granite countertops, and 6 person dining table. The breakfast bar offers 4 whisky barrel & iron stools for additional seating. The lovely kitchen and dining area flows into the living room. This cozy space is the ideal spot for lounging on the leather sofas, as a unique cedar log mantle compliments the stone gas log fire place and shelves the flat screen television. Watch a movie, have a cup of hot chocolate, enjoy your own wine & cheese tray (Downtown Blue Ridge offers many interesting wines and cheeses to sample!) or maybe just take in the mountains from all the windows the main level offers. The main level bedroom is decorated with western style furniture, including an antique leather saddle, a hand carved barnwood king bed, an ornately carved armoire, and vintage cowboy boots. The full bath that joins this bedroom features a tile shower is also decorated with western style accents; antler adored mirrors, log slab counter top, and double vanity wash basins. Venture up the round log staircase on reclaimed log slabs for steps to a unique feature: a skywalk from the upper bedrooms and bathroom to a balcony with rocking chairs for a birds eye view of the unblemished mountains. Imagine witnessing the local wildlife on the grounds below from the rocking chairs, endless star-gazing, or just listening to the sound of rain on the tin roof above on this delightful balcony. The dining table can accommodate 6-8, plus three more on Amish wood stools at the island. The main level bedroom has a queen bed, deck access, and a separate bath with natural stone countertop, copper sink, tub and shower, and full-size washer/dryer. There’s a screened-in porch on the main level, with plenty of seating, a grill for your barbecue feasts, and a fire pit in the cabin’s backyard. One level below, you’ll find a game room with a pool table, games, a gas fireplace and 50” TV. It opens onto a bottom deck, where you can chill in a porch swing or soak in the four-seat hot tub while taking in the view. A set of hand-carved Amish twin bunk beds in the downstairs common area provide extra sleeping accommodations. Additionally, there’s one bedroom with a queen bed, and private bath with stone countertop, copper sink, stone floor and walk-in shower. Upstairs contains a beautiful loft/4th Bedroom equipped with a work desk and queen bed. This is the size of a full bedroom but it a loft with the best mountain view in the house. Down the hallway, the master bedroom upstairs has a king log bed, vaulted ceiling, a large picture window, and bathroom (also accessed from the loft) with double vanities, jetted tub and walk-in shower. The loft has exterior access to the master bathroom. NOTE – the property includes several exterior stairs and an interior staircase and is not suitable for individuals who have difficulty traversing stairs or unsupervised young children who may be at risk of falling. There is absolutely no parties or smoking allowed inside the home. If there is any smoking in the property, there will be a $500 charge. You are allowed to smoke outside on the patio that is not screened in but not indoors. We do not supply firewood for your stay but can buy some at the local general store less than 5 minutes from our home. We stock the house with a starter package of toiletries. Peaceful but full of color and life. Sits right above the Toccoa River so there's that babbling brook affect the relaxes all. The space Sitting on two acres of beautiful mountain fauna. Mountain Laurel, massive pines, enormous aspen, mountain ferns, dogwoods, mighty oaks, and swamp magnolias frame the wonderful view of the mountains and river. The property runs down to the river where there are a few good fishing spots. In the summer this river is filled with white water kayaks and river tubes. There is also a nice gazebo and a small grotto water fall down along the river. Right down the road is the Riverside restaurant full of fresh fish, steaks, and food for the kids. Another Riverside hot spot is the Iron Bridge Cafe full of great food and freshly baked cakes and deserts and a small selection of groceries and gifts. They also have a place next store to pan for gold!! Guest access Use of entire house. Two wrap around porches and a balcony on the third floor master over looking mountains and the Toccoa River. Additionally, there are several kayak, tube, and canoe launches nearby, allowing you to launch upstream and return right to the house. There’s no need to haul your wet raft or kayak back to your vehicle. The Views: The property features three covered porches with river views, offering plenty of shade and sweeping 180-degree vistas. You won’t find another porch with a better view of the river! If you’re fortunate enough to book 'Daze on the River' in the fall, you’ll enjoy a front-row seat to the stunning leaf change in the North Georgia Mountains. The cabin is 18 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and located within walking distance of two restaurants, including the famous Toccoa Riverside Restaurant. The amount of activities you can experience in 15 minutes from “Off the Hook” is limitless and Blue Ridge Tubing is walking distance from the property! Once you cross the river from Aska road, you will have a very short drive on paved roads leading to the cabin with easy access and parking for three vehicles. You will instantly notice the rich stained cabin, new decks, featured landscaping and most of all…the Toccoa River! Relax and know you have chosen well for your deserved vacation! You will reach the main level taking the left side flight of stairs in the center of the property which leads to the front door. Entrance is directly into the foyer and living room area with all new furniture, large screen TV and wood burning fireplace! Directly to the right of the living room is the large fully equipped kitchen and round dining table with seating for 6 and an additional 5 bar stools with large granite countertop surface. The kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances, large side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and glass top oven. Access to the brand new deck is just off the kitchen through the sliding glass doors. The deck is directly on the Toccoa River with the flowing sounds of nature, pristine beauty, and fresh air of the mountains. The porch has an open area with a sectional sofa, and gas grill with the dining table under the covered porch portion. As you move back inside, directly to the left of the living room are two ensuite bedrooms. The larger king master is the bedroom to the right of the cove with access to the back porch and another smaller king master bedroom is to the left. There is another king master ensuite bedroom on the upper level that is reached by the stairs just to the right of the front entry. This bedroom has been completely remodeled and features a new large bathroom. The large windows look directly over the Toccoa River and provide a great escape with the special someone. It doesn’t end there! The stairs to the lower level are to the left of the entrance. This leads directly to another living area with a large smart TV, large leather sofa, two oversized chairs and also features a separate nook with built in beds that are the perfect hideaway for the kids. This set of bunk beds includes a full on the bottom and single on top. They also have their own TV for entertainment. There is a separate office as you come down the stairs and another bunk bedroom to the left of the living room with the lower portion being a full and top being a twin. There is also a small bathroom with a shower between the office and bedroom. To the right of the living room is a separate entertainment area with a ping pong table, pass through bar to the lower deck, prep sink and small refrigerator. The lower level porch is accessible directly from the living room. It is just footsteps from the Toccoa River! It is the perfect spot to soak away in the 5 person hot tub while enjoying the sights and sounds! There is a wood burning fireplace, several rockers and additional seating area for the entire family to enjoy! The excitement continues as you venture out the new landscape paths to the new fire pit! The main level deck offers a screened in porch with a wood burning fireplace with seating and TV, plus and open deck facing the view with additional seating. The screened in porch area is just waiting for you to spend lazy afternoons watching the morning skies fade to starry nights. Inside, you'll find the plush main level living space, beautiful wood and stone kitchen, and gas log fireplace with comfy seating and TV. The dining table seats 8 and overlooks the rolling mountains, so you can take in the views while enjoying meals together. There is also a half bath located off living room for convenience. The main level bedroom is the definition of romance: King bed, private fireplace, large bathroom with a glass & tile shower and a soaking tub. Just imagine how lovely it will be to enjoy this spa-like suite and relax with your favorite person, then be greeted by the most beautiful sunrise...Or, instead sleeping in late snuggling in the morning! Guest access Most importantly, the location of The Summit is unsurpassed for all of your vacation needs. It can be reached by a short drive from the town of Blue Ridge down Aska Rd which is one of the most beautiful drives in the Blue Ridge area, or by Rock Creek and Stanley Creek Rd. which winds through a canopy of forest as it makes it's way through the Rich Mountain Wildlife Preserve. Excellent hiking and trail heads are 3 miles in either direction down Aska or Stanley Creek Rd., with a beautiful waterfall easily accessible from the Stanley Creek Rd. trail head. The entrance to the mountain where The Summit is located is within walking distance of the Toccoa River where an abundance of trout fishing and rafting are available. It's location is also less than 1/4 mile to the Toccoa Riverside restaurant which sits along side the river with great views of the rushing waters below, and specializes in freshly caught trout. Another 1/4 mile down from the restaurant is the Toccoa Wilderness Outpost which offers rafting gear, grocery supplies, as well as a full breakfast menu each morning and home made barbecue for lunch. Just on the other side of the river is beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. The lake can be accessed by boat launch 5 1/2 miles down Aska Rd or by driving another few miles to the marina. Pontoon boats and jet ski rentals are available by the day or half day. In addition, less than an hour away, the Ocoee River with class 3, 4, & 5 rapids offers some of the best adventure rafting and kayaking in the region. If adventure isn't on the agenda for the day, the charming town of Blue Ridge offers a beautiful setting to take in it's quaint shops and cafes and it is also the departure location for the famous Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
