Still, the cabin feels like a destination in itself, where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect. Cozy up by the stone fireplace, relax on the porch, see nature, read, listen, play, cook, stargaze, and enjoy just being! M&R license #: 063685 The space The cabin has a cozy open concept with the kitchen, dining, and living areas flowing together around a center chimney. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and beautiful vintage cast iron LP cookstove. If you are uncomfortable using an LP gas cookstove, a two-burner hotplate is available. The kitchen also has a microwave, coffee maker, french press (coffee and tea provided), toaster, cookware, drinkware, and serving ware. The dining area features a full-size table with extra leaf, and seating for up to 6 guests. The cabin has beautiful pine wood floors with several area rugs throughout. Enjoy the beauty of the fieldstone chimney combined with the clean convenience and warmth of a propane fireplace. Relax in the cozy living room, comfortably furnished with a large sectional including a chaise lounge and pull out queen bed. An old writing desk inspires as it sits in front of the large picture window overlooking the gardens, and still enjoys the prominent coziness of the fireplace. The full bath on the first floor has a deep clawfoot tub with rain-showerhead and all the essentials. The two bedrooms are furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed, dressed with soft linens, and plenty of pillows, each room has a bureau and an area to hang clothing. One bedroom has a locking door, while the other has a private opening. Each of the cozy bedrooms has at least one fan, and in the summer months, an air conditioner. Enjoy a variety of books, games, and puzzles. Listen to music, audiobooks, or your favorite podcast through the Bluetooth lantern speaker. Yoga mats and beach towels are also available. Private yoga classes are available for an additional fee, ask for details. Surrounded by gardens and nestled in the woods on three private acres, the cabin is distant to neighboring houses, barely visible through the trees. It mostly feels like a sanctuary. Dappled sunlight dances through the trees during the day. The spacious porch with ceiling fans and plenty of seating is the perfect place to take it all in. The 30” charcoal grill is waiting for your inner grill master. A five-foot dining table with umbrella and four cushioned chairs offers another option for dining out. During summer months, guests may enjoy in-season fresh herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, and dill, and a variety of fruits and vegetables as they ripen in the complimentary guest garden. Guest access -Washer and Dryer access is available onsite for stays of 3 nights or longer. -A 30"charcoal grill is available for guest use. Please note that under NO circumstance should it be moved onto the porch. -The outdoor firepit may be used by guests who obtain a written letter of permission from me and a fire permit from the Bradford fire warden. Also 15 minutes in a different direction is Pats Peak: skiing, snow tubing and bar & grill. Enjoy swimming at Sunapee Lake, state park is best for access or take a tour on the Sunapee Cruise Ship. Nestled along a historic country road, this charming, rustic cottage style home is just minutes from skiing at Mount Sunapee (6 mi), Pats Peak (12 mi), and many other nearby ski areas. Easy access to a network of scenic trails for hiking, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling to explore. Enjoy nearby pristine lakes like beautiful Lake Sunapee, or just relax and soak in the beautiful views — a perfect destination to make memories in any season! The space The house is a rustic cottage style home with many windows to enjoy the views. The bathroom is spacious with a full bath tub and washer and dryer. The two upstairs bedrooms are small (6 ft ceilings) but have air conditioning in the summer, and plenty of space for storage. There are two decks with lots of seating. The back deck is quiet and secluded with a grill. The yard is large with a lot of space for outdoor activities. Plenty of parking space. Guest access The major living areas of the house, and all its contents are available to guests. There is a large storage area at the back of the house which will be locked and unavailable. The garage is locked and unavailable. Other things to note There are a few sets of stairs (decks and upstairs bedrooms) and low ceilings in the two bedrooms. Air conditioning is in both bedrooms and one on the main floor. Parties are not allowed. 4 guests is the maximum number of guests and you must state the exact number of guests that plan to stay. I cannot host pets at all (service animals are the exception). My neighbor has a dog that may chase a ball on my property or come over at times. In the spring,summer, and fall, this rural, grassy, tree filled area gets very buggy. The bugs will get into the house, especially at night if lights are left on. I provide insect repellent for mosquitoes and ticks for outside use. Cell service is good. Verizon service works best. When the house is ready and available, you will receive a message. Check out time is promptly at 11am.

Please pardon our dust. We are currently building a Barn behind and visible from the space. Come experience a retreat in the woods. We offer a cozy, warm, secluded studio apartment on 25 wooded acres with plenty of outdoor activities. COVID concerned : this is a completely separate private apartment. You do not need to have any interaction with us if you choose not to. You have your own dedicated parking, it is a keyless entry. There is no passing of keys. You can also text us if needed. The space Your home away from home that is all about R&R and reconnecting with the outdoors. A spacious, modern, private entry suite with all you need for a perfect get away. There is no TV so you can thoroughly enjoy the peace & quiet. You have FREE wifi. Cell phone coverage is spotty! Enjoy your coffee or wine out on the deck listening to nature. We have a gorgeous secluded 25 acre wooded lot. Enjoy! This suite was all built by Brett; completed in 2011. All appliances are new full sized stainless steel. Soap stone corner sink. Granite counter. A dining table that seats 4 & has an expansion if needed. No extra charge for 2 children 18 y/o and younger with 2 adults. Linens are provided for short term guests. If you are staying longer than 2 weeks we do ask you provide your own linens (queen sized sheets & towels). We have plenty of blankets & quilts for both beds. The sofa pulls out easily & has a very comfortable larger mattress. The bathroom has a standup spacious glass corner shower with over head heater, light & fan. Just ask to use the BBQ grill (you'll need your own charcoal). The corner gas wood stove heats the space nicely. We are in an outdoor paradise with all winter, summer, spring, and fall activities. Just 90 minutes from Boston, 45 minutes from the Manchester airport, 20 minutes from Colby Sawyer College in New London. Mount Sunapee is 9 miles away. Lake Todd for canoeing/kayaking is 4 miles. And Pat's Peak is ~15 miles. Summer is absolutely gorgeous in New England. Weather varies & frequently changes but can range from 50-80's. We do have a window unit air conditioner if needed. And there is a very large ceiling fan. Fall leaf peeping is at it's best here in NH peeking around 2nd week of October (depending on the weather) and going for a long drive or hike is a must. Winter adventure is all around as we are very close to skiing at Mt. Sunapee Resort, Ragged Mountain, Pats Peak, and Eastman Cross Country Center. We generally cross country ski the nearby snowmobile trails. You can snowshoe our property for some great exercise. 4 Wheel drive and or All wheel drive are highly recommended in this area. The house is located ~1 mile off the main road and is a very compact dirt road. The road is town maintained for snow plowing and sanding. Guest access Full kitchen with all your cooking needs (you supply consumables). Private keyless entry and large secluded patio with chairs and table. Free coffee & tea. Games & Books. Other things to note Lake Todd and Lake Sunapee are both under 6 miles away and great for kyaking, canoeing, & swimming. Newbury has a beautiful dock and shallow area for little ones to play; with summer concerts Thursday nights. Mount Sunapee offers the best local skiing & has lots of summer fun as well (zip line, air golf, etc.). Pats Peak is a 30 min. drive. Endless hiking & snowmobile trails--several are groomed by a local for XC skiing which is our favorite. Being rural the local roads are safe for cycling and the trails support mountain biking (no ATVs though). The Newport Sugar River rail trail is lovely too. Gunstock is not too far for a thrilling adventure ropes course & segway tours.

Cozy, private, studio apartment in the woods

This wonderful cottage is located a stone's throw from Lake Massasecum, on a hill, and is the perfect place to spend a pleasant time connected to nature and activities in the forest. Depending on the time of year, there are activities in the surrounding area. Among the activities nearby are swimming, skiing, kayaking, and hiking in the forest, among others. Remember that for some activities you must check on the internet where you can do them. The space The house has one bedroom, a full kitchen, a living-dining room, a small study, and a bathroom with a tub. It is located on a fairly large property in front of a lake, where you can walk and explore both the lake and the forest. Guest access To access the property, simply take the first road once you reach Breezy Hill Rd from Route 114. We recommend that guests use the main door only, do not use the living room door. Other things to note DO NOT USE the stove in the basement, it is only for emergencies. We always recommend keeping the doors closed in winter, and the heaters on. We always try to have provisions such as condiments for guests in the kitchen. The door to the living room should not be opened, only use the main door.
