Heated Pool Instructions: 1.There is a 25 dollars per day extra charge(energy cost) for all days of your stay if you would like your pool to be heated 2.The pool heat pump takes about a day to get to a temperature of 85 degrees in the winter so the guest needs to confirm to the property manager in writing, 1 day before their arrival that they are OK with the extra cost and that they would like to have their pool heated 3.Since we utilize a heat pump, heating the pool will not be possible if the ambient temperature during the guest stay goes below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. So, people staying during the coldest days in the Phoenix (second half of December to end of January) may have issues getting the pool up to the temperature or may not even be able to get up to temperature. We recommend not utilizing the pool heater during this time but if the guest insist, we will be happy to turn on the heater with the disclaimer that guest understands about the disadvantage 4.No glass bottles/containers inside the pool area 5.Guests are not allowed the increase/set the temperature of the heater or meddle with the electrical infrastructure around it for safety reasons. The pool is not separately fenced so families with younger kids must be extra cautious. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need such as pots/pans, bakeware, serving platters and bowls, and dinnerware for 10. Small appliances include a blender, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker. The bedrooms include one king, two queen, and two single beds with comfy, hotel-style linens and Tuft & Needle mattresses. There is also a sofa bed in the den that might be the comfiest sofa bed you've ever come across. With the sofa, the home can sleep 10 people. The master bathroom has been newly remodeled and feels like you've walked into a spa. Enjoy a soak in the garden tub, or a luxurious shower under the oversized shower head. All bathrooms are stocked with plush towels and shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers are provided. A hair dryer is also provided in each full bathroom. We offer free Wi-Fi. There is enough space to park 4 cars, one in the garage, two in the drive, and one in front of the home on the street. No more than four cars please. This property has two video surveillance cameras to ensure the safety and security of our guests. One is at the front door entrance, one is over the garage. There are no cameras inside the home or in the pool area. Also 15-25 minutes to the best spas/restaurants in Scottsdale. Pets allowed but require deposit and additional cleaning fee. The space Come spend some time at the Poolhouse!! House is fully equipped so just bring yourself and your bathing suit. The house features a resort style backyard that includes a propane powered fire pit, an amazing propane heated pool with waterslide and grotto, a spacious jetted jacuzzi, and an outdoor kitchen! All rooms are equipped with smart tv's, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and soft sheets! There are two queen air mattresses available. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee pot, blender, plenty of pots and pans, and everything else you need to make wonderful meals! There is a pool table, and plenty of space to relax and hang out. Only two car garage available and includes a garage door opener that can be used during your stay. Guest access Entire home however there are two locked closets inside the house that are not available to guests. The first is located on the ground level floor under the stairs and the second is in the primary bedroom. There is another closet (and small dresser) available to guests in the primary bedroom. Other things to note The pool and spa are heated by propane. The propane used is NOT included in the price. I only charge for what you use during your stay and that is monitored by a wifi reader. It is very difficult to estimate the cost of propane as, similar to gas, it changes based on the market. That said, most guests in the winter use between $150-$300 worth of propane. This number varies based on outdoor temp, whether or not the pool or spa are primarily used (spa is obviously much cheaper to heat than pool) and how often heated. FYI- only one or the other can be heated at one time.
