It has 2 bedrooms (queen beds), a TV room (with a queen sofa bed) a sun room, a large bathroom & an external laundry (with washer, dryer & toilet). There is an open fire, deep bath & new air conditioning. A 5 minutes' level walk to the beautiful Shoalhaven River & a few more minutes' to the surf beach. Our small township is surrounded by river, ocean & national parks, with an abundance of trees & bird life. The space We bought this house in December 2020, painted it and equiped it with brand new appliances, new beds, mattresses, pillows, linen and towels. It is furnished with retro items aiming to make it stylish & cosy. I am a neat freak so you will find it sparkling clean. It’s just been painted so it’s all shiny ‘new’. The kitchen is simple but we love to cook so included a quality espresso machine (with beans supplied) and Nutri bullet. The back deck overlooks the huge garden having an outdoor dining setting and a new BBQ. We have tried to think of everything to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and at home. There is ample parking, the whole house and garden are yours to enjoy. There is a 2 person kayak, with paddles and trolley for your enjoyment on the river. The wi-fi is great (we often work from here) and there is a huge smart TV. There is a fabulous open fire inside and a fire pit outside - we supply a timber stack. The space Our fifties house has a quirky charm that makes you instantly relaxed. It is located five minutes walk to both the river and the ocean, and only 10 minutes to the famous Shoalhaven Heads Pub. The space for rent occupies the whole of the top floor of our house. There is large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a great living area with a kitchenette. It's a great place to relax after a hard day of seeing the sights. Access is via an internal spiral staircase, so there is no disabled access I'm afraid. It is the perfect base for exploring the South Coast. We have a very people friendly labrador who loves it when people come to stay. If this is a problem for you we will keep her out of your way. Note: we provide you with bread, butter and milk for a light breakfast. It is not a full kitchen, but does have an airfryer and other cooking appliances if you wish to self cater. We've created a warm and luxurious place for couples to enjoy in the lovely setting of Mulberry Barn, nestled on Coolangatta Mountain between Berry and the sea. It has a restful feel with the sounds of the bush, stunning scenery in all seasons, a cosy fire place, large bath and mood lighting throughout. Enjoy walking the bush tracks that begin at the back gate, nearby wineries and beautiful, long stretches of sandy beaches. Trail bikes very occasionally, and farm machinery may be heard at times The space Underfloor heating in the bathroom for your comfort in the cooler months. It is our pleasure to provide guests with a selection of items to prepare breakfast if they wish to stay in for quiet mornings and enjoy the many spaces to truly relax. Prior to guests arriving we ask their choices of locally baked crusty sourdough bread, and milk. Kangaroo Valley free-range eggs, butter, pancake mix, maple syrup, spreads, a wide selection of teas, and coffee pods are provided. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, sandwich iron, a plug in hot plate, saucepan, and a small electric fry pan for cooking light meals, as there is no exhaust fan. The BBQ is located at the back verandah area for cooking in fair weather. Mulberry Barn was renovated with couples in mind and is a destination in itself. The inviting spaces inside and outside the Barn, including the paddocks to wander in, and the bush walking tracks of Coolangatta Mountain to explore are simply beautiful for guests to enjoy. The Barn is accommodation for 2 adults only. It isn’t safely set up or suitable for infants or children, so we’re sincerely sorry for any disappointment if you had wished to bring your little one. Relax by the fire pit in winter, enjoy breezy summer days, and explore nearby wineries, walks, and beaches. The space There are two ground floor bedrooms with very comfortable queen size beds, with quality linen. In winter we provide hot water bottles and heaters. There is also a cosy, downstairs sitting area with a sofa bed. We have a full kitchen with everything you will need, from tea, coffee, milk, muesli, cling wrap, salt & pepper and cooking oil to an oven, microwave, electric fry pan and coffee machine. There is a dining table with chairs for six. The sitting area upstairs is furnished with large and comfortable leather lounges, there is a TV with Netflix, a DVD player and a stereo, there is a selection of DVD's and CD's provided. We provide NBN Wi-Fi. There is a small reading library, a chess set and board games. There is a large bathroom with shower and egg shaped marble bath. In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor shower after a visit to Berry Beach. We have an outdoor cabana with a firepit (fire starters and wood provided). Its an ideal spot to have an afternoon snooze, read a book, to watch the sunset with a glass of local wine or to toast a marshmallow. The outdoor courtyard, shaded by a huge London Plane tree, is a great place to dine, entertain and use the BBQ. There is mood lighting. Our country style home is situated within an easy 8 minute walk to Berry village ,close to the train station and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Your private accommodation on the ground floor at the rear of our home provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Berry township offers great cafes, restaurants, wineries and abundant shopping opportunities and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The space The accommodation comprises one large room with a very comfortable queen size bed and a cosy reading/ eating nook. The private smaller bedroom has a comfortable single bed. The rooms share a bathroom with shower. We have recently added a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Enjoy our complimentary continental breakfast provisions. With breathtaking views over lush green dairy paddocks to the escarpment, you will unwind within minutes of arrival. The cottage has 2 King size bedrooms, the King beds can be split into 4 x Singles upon request. 6.4 km drive (4mins) to the beach, 1.7 km flat walk to town. Perfect location to unwind in fresh country air. The space The Coastal farm cottage has been purpose built, with 2 King size bedrooms (3m x 3.5m), ceiling fans, reverse cycle air-conditioning ( Summer) and heating (Winter) a handy 3 way new bathroom Including Vanity, Toilet and Rain + hand held Shower, new Kitchenette with Nespresso machine compatible with most pods, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, convection microwave, Induction portable cooktop, Sandwich press, Toaster, Electric kettle. Please note the kitchenette does not have an oven, or stove. Only one induction hot plate for frypan and pot. An outdoor BBQ is on the deck. Wifi and Smart TV (bring your log in codes and download app if it is not already). We have NBN Wireless so sometimes in heavy cloud coverage it can interfere with receiving. During bushfire season all outdoor fires are banned unless you apply for a permit) We supply mosquito coils and spray, it is advisable to keep the screens closed to prevent bugs from entering the cottage. We have installed Bistro blinds to drop to prevent rain on the deck. Please ensure you drop them right over the garden side of the fence and zip together to ensure deck stays dry. Please lift if the wind picks up as they will become dangerous in high winds. There is a large outdoor dining table and a small cosy indoor dining table with 4 chairs. An ironing Board, iron and air drying rack are provided for your convenience. Evidence of pet hair will require a full commercial laundry cost, which maybe taken from your bond. The cottage doesn’t have a fence., but there is a gate located on the deck. We also have a list of local Pet sitters if required. We also use commercial food service grade disinfectant. All our air freshener, body wash and dishwashing detergent is sourced from Natural suppliers. We refill these containers with recyclable pouches to save on landfill. Wildlife : you may see Antechinus ( if you see signs of this in the cottage please let us know). They are native to woodlands in Australia and are curious critters! Wallabies, Kangaroos (early morning) , rabbits ( night) , Bandicoots, echidna, loads of birds, bleating tree frogs, occasionally a possum , Echidna or wombat passing by, and the dairy cows across the road. We ask you not to feed the wildlife as this will only encourage them to be a nuisance as they become bolder. If you require anything please ask we just may have it. The Beach is 6km away on beach road and the perfect spot for a beach walk. Gerroa and Shoalhaven Heads have patrolled beaches. Dogs are welcome on Shoalhaven beach only. Enter on LHS of carpark.
