We are located only 3 miles from the Little Patoka boat ramp, making it easy to enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, and tubing. The space The entire cabin will be available to you, it has a very private backyard with a fire pit, swing set, sandbox, charcoal grill, and it adjoins public forest. Guest access All living space is available. Washer and dryer only available to guest staying for a week or longer. If needed arrangements can be made upon request. Other things to note This is a rule country setting the closest retail merchandise available is in English Indiana, approximately 15 to 20 minute drive. A billiard and foosball table, wet bar with beverage refrigerator, board/card games, table and chairs are also provided in this area for your family social time. Completely furnished and the customized extras promise to make your stay very enjoyable. This home sits on over an acre with lots of yard space for family play. Enjoy nature, peace of mind, a family BBQ, cup of coffee, relaxing reading time, or therapeutic hot tub soak on one of our four oversized porches as you can hear boats zooming around nearby! The home has a large parking area big enough for multiple vehicles and watercrafts. StarLink high-speed internet is provided along with space for work for learning. Hunters and Anglers WELCOME! Surrounding areas of the Hoosier National Forest offer endless ground for deer, turkey, and other game! Other things to note The kitchen is fully equipped with a large custom buffet style island, perfect for hosting and serving your large family dinners; granite countertops, 36" gas range, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. We invite you to enjoy a relaxing morning on the front porch watching the sunrise & evenings sitting by the fire surrounded by the sounds of nature. Hidden Acorn is only a few miles from the Patoka Lake State Park entrance! Summer boating season is upon us! The space A spacious cedar cabin that sleeps up to 16 with the option to rent the barn separately from us. (Just advise us as early as possible so we can accommodate). This is our family's retreat to the woods & we enjoy spending our time here when it is not booked. The peace that can be found on the front deck in the mornings is unlike any place you have ever experienced. Your problems simply vanish as you are sipping coffee and watching the sun rise. Kitchen has all the basics needed to prepare meals. Don't forget to stop on your way in at the local grocery store, Jay-C, only 9 miles away in English, to grab all your food essentials. If you need something small, there is a Dollar General only 3 miles away along with a Marathon gas station across the road. The basement has a deep freezer for additional freezer needs that exceed the french door refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen. The coffee machine makes both a standard 12 cup pot and also has a K-Cup side. You are responsible for your own k-cups & coffee grounds. Filters are provided. Bathrooms are stocked with basic shampoo/conditioner/body wash needs. There is a hair dryer on site along with an ironing board and iron. Extra linens are available. The cabin has a variety of board games and also a large tub of wooden train tracks for the kids. A pack 'n play (with an additional mattress for comfort) and high chair are available on site. Each room is outfitted with noise machines to help everyone sleep comfortably. The basement bathroom is equipped with 2 sets of stackable washer and dryers if you need to do laundry during your stay. Soaps are the responsibility of the renter. We have firewood for purchase on the property. Propane is complimentary. The barn space is available for additional fees and we have an RV hook up on the property. We have a "no pets" policy and there is zero tolerance for this rule. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin. Smoking tobacco is allowed outside only. We require you to dispose of your product in the appropriate containers provided on the front porch. Guest access It is imperative you write down/save the wifi network and password (given during the check-in window) prior to arriving as there is no service at Hidden Acorn Cabin unless you have Verizon; even then it isn't a guarantee. Access code to the door will be given prior to arrival, but in case of unforeseen issues, you will want to be able to contact us and will need to connect to the WiFi to do so. Your booking will encompass the entire use of the cabin and surrounding woods complete with outdoor fire pit and seating, BBQ grill, and the perfect space to explore nature. There's a drive thru zoo approximately 8 miles French lick isn't far im not sure on the distance. Patoka lake is approximately 24 mile cave county canoes is approximately 15 miles from house.

The Cabin is less than 20 minutes from French Lick & Paoli and only 15 minutes from Patoka Lake and Hoosier National Forest. You will love the view of the Pond from all three decks as you eat your meals, sit around the fire pit, or swim in the pool. Very quiet and you have it all to yourself. From time to time, you may see deer, turkey or quail around the property. On clear nights the stars are amazing, and at times the sunrises can be spectacular. It is hard to get any better than this. The space The cabin sits up on a hillside overlooking the pond, with wooded ravines on each side. There are 3 different levels of decks overlooking the swimming pool for you to enjoy and there you will find a firepit, pergola, Blackstone Grill, chairs, rockers and tables. Inside you have 3 bedrooms with 4 beds and a queen sofa bed to sleep up to 8 people. There are 2-1/2 bathrooms with 1-1/2 bathrooms on the main level and 1 full bathroom on the lower level. The kitchen has all the appliances, cookware and utensils that you should need. A full laundry with washer and dryer is available for your use. If you have to work while here, there is a nice office workspace and a strong internet connection. All you need to do is to arrive with your personal belongings and groceries and you are all set for a great time. Guest access While here at the cabin, you will have access to everything with the exception of the mechanical room and a couple of storage closets. Other things to note There are only 2 small steps at the front porch to get in to the cabin. Once inside, the main level has everything a person would need without going downstairs. There is a bedroom and 1-1/2 baths on the main level, as well as the kitchen dining room, living room and a sliding glass door that takes you out on the deck where you could sit under the pergola and eat your meals while enjoying the view .

There is sulphur in the water down here so there is smell. It is clean and filtered. We do recommend bringing your own drinking water if you are sensitive to the smell. The area offers plentiful hiking trails, golf courses, and the Historical French Lick hotels are within a 20-minute drive. Drive 30 miles to ski at Paoli Peaks or spend the day riding roller coasters at Holiday World. Spend time on the front porch or screened back porch relaxing and enjoying the view. Seating areas galore, you won't run out of space for your group to enjoy all the beauty that the nature in this area has to offer. We offer a Green Egg grill, you will just need to supply charcoal. After supper, enjoy watching dusk roll in from the vintage wooden boat swing. Feel free to also enjoy corn hole and the horse shoe pits! A pack-n-play is available for infants, as well as a high/chair booster that attaches to dining room chair. Plenty of area for boat parking as we also own the lot across the road. This cabin offers a beautiful view of the waterfowl resting area of Patoka Lake, please keep in mind that the view will change as the levels of the lake rise/fall. As we are on an overlook, there is a steep, heavily wooded hill between our property and the water. No direct water access, closest water access is King’s Bridge. Guest access The rental includes access to the entire cabin and 2-acre property with the exception of one small locked host closet. Parking is available in gravel driveway as well as in lot across the road. Other things to note Cabin is minutes from King's Bridge Boat Ramp and Walls Lake Boat Ramp. Located just a few miles from Hoosier National Forest and Springs Valley Trailhead. Whether looking for elite golf, great food, outdoor activities, casino fun or small town charm, you'll have no problem doing it all from a location in the middle of it all.   You'll also be 20min from Patoka Lake & 45min from Holiday World!  While capacity notes 8, should your party have more, this doesn't preclude a stay. Please reach out to us and we can help with logistics of arranging your stay. The space 4 bedrooms all with beds big enough for 2. Main floor offer 3 bedrooms (2 King beds, 1 Queen bed) & full bath. Second level suite offers King bed, full bath and bonus room/office. Open living space for enjoying time together, along with all needed appliances, and coffee bar with numerous amenities. 2 large smart TVs (living area & upstairs suite) each loaded with all of the most popular apps, so you have to do is log in & go! Wide-spanning mesh wifi system allows easy streaming & personal use internet. Guest access Initial access will be via a smart lock (code info will be sent a few days prior to your stay). Once on site, guests will also gave a hard set of keys to use if desired. Entire finished portion of home is open for access. We do ask to remain out of unfinished basement (outside of shelter in situations like a weather event), as it is primarily for storage & absent of amenities. Other things to note Home is on Hwy 56, so there will be some traffic noise. The home is pretty well insulated from the sound, which helps keep noise levels down. Despite a firm cancellation policy, should you cancel inside window that no longer receives 100% refund, if the dates can be rebooked, additional refund will be extended. This policy is to be as fair as possible to all parties.

The space The main floor of the cabin includes a open living/dining/kitchen area, bedroom 1 with a queen bed (sleeps 2), the bathroom and a back bedroom with a queen bed (sleeps 2). A full size air mattress is located in the laundry room off the left side of the back bedroom. Upstairs in the loft you will find a queen bed (sleeps 2) and a twin bed with trundle (sleeps 2) Guest access Full access to home and outdoor property (shed locked for owner storage) Other things to note The Patoka Lake Winery, Old Homestead Distillery and Patoka Station gas station located nearby the cabin and right outside of the park entrance are open year round. As with any wooded or rural property, ticks can be present, particularly during the warmer months. While we regularly treat the cabin and the immediate surrounding area, we recommend that guests use appropriate tick repellent, wear protective clothing when hiking or exploring wooded areas, and perform routine tick checks after spending time outdoors. This is especially important when visiting nearby parks, trails, forests, and natural areas. A little prevention goes a long way in ensuring a safe and enjoyable outdoor adventure. • Roads: The property is located on a quiet, rural road. Drive slowly, especially at night. • Stairs/deck: The home includes outdoor steps leading up to the deck. • Seasonal considerations: In heavy rain or winter weather, outdoor areas may be slippery. • Fire pit: Use only when local conditions permit; never leave unattended. • Grill: Guests are welcome to use the grill—please clean after use. • Quiet hours: We honor the peaceful setting. Please keep noise low after 11pm. • Security: For safety, the property may have an exterior camera facing the driveway (if applicable). • Supplies: We provide a starter set of essentials (trash bags, paper towels, TP, etc.). Off street parking with plenty of outdoor space & privacy all within walking distance to the downtown area and casino. The space Recently renovated, clean, spacious, with some eclectic decor! Guest access You will be given a smart lock access code the day prior to your check-in. Touch the keypad, touch the two random numbers in any order and then enter your provided code. Enjoy your stay at historic French Lick! Other things to note This house is clean and comfortable for larger groups of 10 or less. There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main floor. This cozy log cabin offers secluded privacy in a heavily-wooded neighborhood just 2 miles from Patoka Lake State Park and nearby Patoka Lake winery and brewery. Enjoy the fire pit and hot tub on a romantic getaway or bring the whole family for boating, swimming, fishing or hiking. The cabin has two bedrooms, a large screened porch and a loft with several sleeping options. Four TVs support Roku streaming apps. Three-night minimum required for late spring, summer and early fall weekends. The space The king bedroom is on the first floor, the queen BR is on the second. The open loft has a bunk bed, two singles and a futon. First floor has an open kitchen-greatroom. Front door opens to a roomy screened porch with two sitting areas. Side door leads to patio and hot tub. Guest access Guests can use the entire house except for one locked pantry. Our gravel driveway has room to park four vehicles but it is on an incline and may not be suited for parking a trailered boat. Other things to note The cabin has TVs in the greatroom, loft and both bedrooms. Guests can log in to YouTube TV, Netflix, Prime, Apple, Disney etc. using their own accounts. Or use the outdoor fish cleaning station to prepare the days catch and throw it on the grill for a fresh fish dinner and then pull a guitar off the wall and make some music around the campfire. Cabin has a ring doorbell security camera on the front porch. The space Roomy cabin with one large bedroom and a loft that serves as a second bedroom. It has an older hot tub that seats three, a screened side porch, and an amazing fire pit area. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin and yard.

Guest access our trundle beds upstairs raise up and can be a double bed for couples. I Tried to show a pic, its like having 2 full size plus the twin up stairs or 5 twins however best fits you .. Other things to note Internet access is available. We also have a pass to patoka park on please feel free to use but it is 50$ to replace so make sure to return.
