The master bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, flat screen tv and master bath. The other room has a queen bed, a bathroom with a shower and also a washer and a dryer. The backyard is lush and green with a pool to cool down on hot summer days. The pool is fenced in so it is safe for families with young children. Unlike gas furnances, heat pumps pull warmth from the air to heat the water gradually. In cooler, windy weather or rainy days, heating takes longer, and the temperature may fluctuate. Another perk, you are located only 20 minutes away from Clearwater Beach and other local hotspots. The space This home comes packed with your entertainment needs, including a 55” TV in the living room and a TV located in each bedroom. We also offer cable and WiFi for your streaming and viewing pleasure. If watching TV on vacation isn’t your gig, the fenced in backyard also offers a great place to relax. Enjoy sitting in Gazebo and grilling your favorites on the grill. Bring a Boat? There is plenty of space to park it at home, when you aren’t enjoying yourself out on the water. Other things to note We allow up to 2 pets for an additional fee of $150.00. You can add a third animal for another $50 fee. Our homes will only accommodate up to 3 pets, per reservation. Hot Tub: The hot tub heater can be added for $30 per day, and only on the days that you would like to use it. This is the ONLY amenity that we have to charge extra for and covers our heating costs and allows us to keep the nightly rate lower for guests who do not utilize it. Please note the pool is not heated. Excessive Cleaning: Please help us maintain a clean environment by keeping the property tidy during your stay. According to Airbnb/VRBO policies, leaving the space in a state that requires excessive cleaning, such as stained carpets, moldy dishes, excessive trash, pet hair, confetti/glitter, etc. is not acceptable. Our cleaning team typically takes 10-12 hours to clean the property. If cleaning exceeds 14 hours, the additional cost will be charged to the guest. Entrance to Innisbrook (home of the PGA VALSPAR tournament) is less than 1 mile away! You could, of course, stay on resort, but then no private heated pool, you would not be on the water, no lake access, you'd need multiple places (our home sleeps 8 on beds alone), no entertainment systems, etc. And of course, you will pay resort style prices. Bring friends and enjoy far more amenities and privacy at far less price! Who doesn't enjoy more for less? Want to venture out? Only a FEW miles to the north and enjoy Tarpon Tuesdays, the Tarpon Sponge Docks, more festivals and events. Just southwest of our retreat you will find downtown Dunedin, the Dunedin Causeway, and Clearwater Beach. Head 15 minutes Southeast you'll find Safety Harbor (also home to Second Saturdays). And the lively city of Tampa (and Tampa International Airport) is a convenient 35-minute commute. You'll find options aplenty, but here are a few recommendations: - Fine Dining: Try Bascom's Steakhouse in Clearwater (Pierre is the man!), The Black Pearl in Dunedin, or Packard's Steakhouse (Located at the famous Innisbrook Golf Club (PGA Tour Host) less than 5 minutes away from the property!) - Dazzling Pizza can be found at Fairway (also with Live Music quite often). - Are you a dive bar lover? Try the Anclote Boat Club (tell Mike "Coach" sent you), or if you want to venture a little further there's Mahuffer's in Indian Shores. - Prefer a local Bar and Grill? Snappers features a Comedy Club, indoor/outdoor dining, live music quite often and you don't even have to leave the neighborhood. George is the Owner and a great, great guy! They also have amazing dine-in specials such as "buy 10/get 10 free wings" on Mondays, "Taco Tuesdays", "Wrap Wednesdays", and MORE! Their sushi is also PHENOMENAL--only available after 5pm.
