Located in a quiet neighborhood of Deep Creek Lake, this dog friendly 3-bedroom sleeps up to 10 and has convenient lake access with a boat slip for swimming, fishing, and boating. Guests can gather in the spacious living room with cathedral ceilings or hang out downstairs in the game area. We want this home to help families retreat from the grind, get comfortable, and enjoy all that Deep Creek Lake has to offer. The outdoors is nestled in pine trees and includes a beautiful fire pit built for gathering together and making smores. To ensure a safe and harmonious stay, we ask that guests diligently clean the kitchen each night and properly seal all food containers to avoid attracting pests. Please keep in mind, this is a cabin in the woods, our natural surroundings may include bugs, insects, rodents and wildlife, as we cannot control their presence. WIFI/CELL SERVICE: - WiFi is available through satellite internet Starlink. Please note, while Starlink is very reliable , its connectivity and speed can depend on factors such as weather conditions and satellite positioning. We can't guarantee the speed and reliability. Cell phone signal is good and guests should not have any issues. ACCESS / ROAD: Please be advised you are considering a mountain/lake property. However, it is accessible via state roads, which are paved. There a gravel, gently sloped driveway to the cabin. 4WD/AWD vehicle is REQUIRED to access the cabin, especially during the winter months in case of the inclement weather. We do not offer refunds or cancellations due to weather or natural disasters, so make sure you're okay with this before you book. We highly suggest purchasing a travel insurance. AGE 25 OR OLDER TO BOOK: The guest booking the property must be 25 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request a photo or scan of a government-issued photo ID. The guest who books must stay at the property--you may not book for others if you do not intend to stay at the property. NUMBER OF GUESTS: Only the specific guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premisses. A violation of this rule will result of immediate removal of all guests (and any visitors) from the property without a refund. It is important to have the correct number of guests in the reservation, so please update accordingly if the number changes after you first book. The number of guests is strictly limited to 8 including children. Sleeping 8 people will require 2 people in each king bed, 1 person on each twin bed (one twin with twin trundle plus 2 twin beds). If the cabin is filled to capacity, 4 people will be sleeping on the upper level and sharing 1 bathroom up there (or need to go to the main level bathroom). NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, NO OUTSIDE VISITORS, NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS PETS POLICY: We allow two dogs per stay. Dogs are only allowed with the prior authorization and a $175 non refundable pet fee, per dog. To ensure the best experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that any dog accompanying you is fully potty trained and at least 1 year old. We have the following guidelines for guests who are coming with pets: - Guests are liable for any damage caused by a dog, including excessive cleaning. - Dogs must use the bathroom outdoors. Indoor pee pads are not allowed. Guests are expected to clean up after their dogs and are expected to bring their own supplies for doing so. Please place any excrement bags into the garbage bins located in the beginning of the driveway. - Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or counters - Dogs must never be left alone in the house (even in the crate). - Please have the animals well groomed for the benefit of future guests and our cleaning staff. - As you know, our cabin located in the wooded/forest area. We will not be liable for any wild life encounter or harm to the pets while staying in our property. Additional Notes: We reserve the right to request additional information about your dog (such as age, size, breed, and behavior history) before approving your stay. At our sole discretion, we may decline a pet’s stay if we believe it is not a good fit for the property. We may also decline dogs of restricted breeds. Approval will be determined on a case-by-case basis. NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND ACTIVITIES: Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the property. Guests agree that any drug use on the property or any use of the Property in any unlawful purpose or violation of any law or ordinance on or about the Property will immediately terminate the occupancy and be grounds for immediate eviction from the Property. Guests shall be liable for any and all costs incurred by Host/Owner and the refund will not be provided for the remaining balance of the stay. QUIET HOURS START AT 10 PM: Our property's quiet hours of 10 pm to 7 am are required by county ordinance and enforced by local police. If the police respond to a noise complaint, every individual on the property may face a misdemeanor criminal charge and be subject to a fine by the county of $250. Failure to abide by the county noise ordinance will result in the immediate termination of the stay without refund. Absolutely no parties allowed. SMOKING: Smoking/vapping/hookah is never allowed inside and anywhere outside the house. A $200.00/day penalty will be incurred if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after the guest checks out. BLINK DOORBELL (CAMERA) and SECURITY CAMERAS: There is a BLINK doorbell installed by the front door, which has ability to record and turned on at all times. There also two security camera. One on the deck post facing the driveway, and other one on the front wall of the house observing the parking area and a front door. This is for the security of our guests and property, and to help us verify the number of guests on site. Any tampering with the doorbell camera and regular cameras is a violation of the guests occupancy agreement and will result in immediate cancelation of your stay with no refund. There NO cameras on the back or other sides of the building, hot tub/ fire pit area and inside of the property. AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING: There central a/c and heating in the cabin. There also additional heater provided. One portable fan is provided. NO FIREWORKS: Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the grounds and in the event of fireworks being use, you will be required to vacate the property without a refund and will be fined accordingly. ADDITIONAL CLEANING IS AN EXTRA CHARGE: At sole discretion of the Host/Owner, an additional cleaning fee at $60/hour if additional clean up is required that goes above the standard cleaning. GUEST AGREES TO PAY FOR DAMAGES EXCEEDING DEPOSIT: Any damage made to property or furnishings which exceeds the deposit amount (if any collected) will be billed to the guest and will be reported to Airbnb. CHECK OUT ON-TIME: If guest decides not to follow our Airbnb house rules, and which triggers a refund/ discount to the next guest, you will be responsible for any loss of income by the host. WATER AND SEPTIC: The property use private wells and septic systems. The mineral content in the water may be high and the well water may have an odor and/or color. The septic system is effective under normal conditions; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. Feminine hygiene products may not be flushed at anytime. If it is found that improper products have been flushed causing a clog in the septic system, Guest will be responsible for repair charges. TRASH: A garbage bins enclosure is located outside at the beginning of driveway. Please leave all trash bags inside the trash bins, and always ensure the garbage bin enclosure is properly locked. Due to abundant wildlife, absolutely no trash should be left anywhere outside. WAIVER OR LIABILITY FOR USE OF HOT TUB: The guests agree to use extreme caution and care in the hot tub on the premises and to pay any and all repair charges for damage to the hot tub and/or property caused by the guests. Guests further agree that everyone using a hot tub will shower and clean feet upon use of hot tub. Furthermore, agreement is made that NO oils, bubble bath, soaps, other liquids, or any other harmful materials will be used in the hot tub. No glass products whatsoever are allowed in or around the hot tub. If any items such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc. are found in the tub, the guest will be charged a cleaning fee of $200. Damage to a hot tub cover will result in a $700 charge. Cover should remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Guest agrees that there will be no horseplay in the hot tub as well as not to sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner. Guests acknowledge and accept the risks inherent by the use of the hot tub. Guests voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, death, personal injury or property damage which may arise from the use of the hot tub. By using the hot tub guests agree to follow all house rules associated with it and release the Host/property owner from any and all claims, liability or loses whatsoever arising out of or in any way associated with the guests use of the hot tub, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. (See Additional Rules section for detailed Hot Tub Rules) BOOKING MINIMUM: 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates. CANCELATION POLICY: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. You are close not only to the lake, but it is only a ten-minute drive to Wisp and surrounded by multiple state parks to enjoy hiking and relaxing! Additionally, you have a large variety of fabulous restaurants to enjoy! The space Lured Away is an amazing log cabin. - Sleeps 8 - 3 bedrooms - 3 bathrooms -loft with a futon - 2 indoor fireplaces - Dogs Permitted Only- Less than 50lbs, with non aggressive behaviors. There is a pet fee to process when booking. Must be 24 years of age to rent. Bedding and towels are provided for each quest along with extra pillows and blankets. Air Mattress is provided for a sleeping option. The log cabin has three TVs and a wide variety of CDs with movies to satisfy anyone's tastes. A four-wheel drive (4x4) vehicle is recommended for winter. The entire main floor is accessible via a ramp in the front. Rolling into the house you will first hit the vestibule. To your left is the rollable, fully accessible bathroom. The bathroom has a roll in shower with a seat, grab bars everywhere, and a six foot long multi-purpose counter. Also attached to the bathroom on the main floor is the main bedroom. As you move into the main living area, off to the right is the living room with a propane fireplace. Moving toward the left, you will run into the dining room, straight-ahead. As one looks left, they will find the kitchen, with plenty of dishes and cooking implements, and a hand hammered copper farmhouse sink. In the basement, there is a large open game room with a sofa couch and television. The laundry lives in a closet off the main room. Behind a partition in the main room is a set of bunk beds (twin xl over queen). As you move left through the basement room, you will find another bedroom with a queen bed. Across the hall is the bathroom with standup shower. Off the other side of the bathroom is the poker room with seating for eight. Our favorite things about the cabin are the wrap around deck in the back that over looks an acre of wooded property in the winter time that has a view of the lake, waking up and looking out the window watching the deer walk through the property, the four minute drive to the lake, the hand hammered copper sink, and the overall cozy feel of the cabin.
