Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a week, our comfortable home is the perfect spot for your Cape Cod getaway! Central Air, WiFi, Alexa & Beach Pass included too! The space Welcome to our peaceful, sustainable and Alexa enabled home! Our home is very calming and we've tailored it to be an easy place to relax on your trip. I swear you can feel your blood pressure drop here! To make your trip even easier we are including a Barnstable beach pass for your stay! This means you don’t need to pay to park at the beach (usually $25/day). And as a bonus it will also give you access to resident only beaches which is a huge perk since you will have more spots to choose from - 15 beaches in total! You don't need to bring linens with you - we will provide a clean and relaxing space where you only need to drop your bags, stock the fridge with your favorite foods and hit the beach! Keyless entry is via a wooden ramp which provides easy access to the home. There are no stairs to get into the house and no stairs within the house. The only stairs are off the deck which you do not need to use as the backyard is accessible from the front yard as well. The deck is accessible through the dining room and there are no stairs between those spaces. You will be given a private code before check in that is changed between guests for your safety and privacy. Much of our home has been remodeled in the past year with a global style and an emphasis on sustainability. You'll find cork and eucalyptus flooring (carpet in primary bedroom), new appliances, low VOC paint and custom fabric touches through the house. Our home is Alexa enabled which allows you to turn lights on/off and play music throughout the house with your voice. The living room has a couch (3 seater from Pottery Barn), a futon and a stylish egg chair. There is a Roku smart TV with Netflix and Hulu. A coffee table, large ottoman for lounging, a shoe rack, closet for coats, books, games and real plants! Please note the fireplace is not operational. Dining room has a large kitchen table (perfect for game night!) with 2 bench seats and 3 additional chairs. Kitchen is equipped with new (2020) stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. You'll also have everything you need such as plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, measuring cups, wooden spoons, salad bowl, lemon squeeze, pestle & mortar, tea towels, a toaster, Keurig coffee maker and Chemex pour over coffee carafe. We've tried to think of everything ! Primary bedroom has queen bed and an additional twin which can be used for a guest or just for lounging and relaxing. Second bedroom has two twin beds and has been remodeled with beautiful wallpaper. Additional sleeping space is on the couches in the living room (space for one person per couch). All linens, towels and blankets are new and will be freshly laundered in hot water before arrival. Exterior spaces: The deck has seating for everyone, a grill and a table and chairs. The table is a custom made mosaic table and is the perfect backdrop for morning coffee and foodie photos! There is also a relaxing hammock garden in the yard complete with a two seater swing, hammocks and two wooden rocking chairs. A perfect way to end your day. We recently added a touch of luxury to our outdoor space with a huge, oversized outdoor shower! Wash off the waves and sand in this private space with both hot and cold water surrounded by lush plants and greenery. An outdoor shower after a day on the beach is truly the Cape Cod way of life! The pesticide free yard has an abundance of well established rhodedendrums (some taller than the house!) that provide privacy and greenery year round. And if you are lucky enough to be here when they are blooming you will be surrounded in gorgeous pink hues! We landscaped the front of the house this year and filled it with roses, cat mint and local grasses. We have tried to make our yard bee, bird and small animal friendly. As such you may find many small visitors during your stay, including a friendly squirrel who may come up to the kitchen window for a treat. We will provide walnuts for her and if you choose you can throw her a snack off the deck! There are many variety of birds and usually a bunny family that enjoys munching the plants of their choice. Access: You'll have access to the entire house - with the exception of two rooms. One room is our bedroom (don't worry we won't be there!) where we store our personal belongings and the other part is a room off the side of the house (it has it's own entrance). We own and operate Speakeasy Travel Supply and that room is an overflow storage space for our fabrics and is closed off to guests. The only time you may see us is if it is particularly hot and we need to water the yard or if we have to grab some supplies from our work storage (it’s unlikely but could happen). If that does happen we would go through the separate entrance and not be going into your space - we will also let you know we are coming if that’s the case. Again, it’s unlikely but just want to be upfront. Please note that although the front door and ramp make the home more easily accessible for many people, the house is not built to ADA standards. The bedroom and bathroom doors are not the width needed for a wheelchair. The bathroom has shower bars for help in/out but it is a bathtub, not a shower. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, deck and yard aside from 2 rooms which are inaccessible. One is our bedroom (don’t worry we won’t be there!) where we store personal belongings and the second is a room to the side of the house which is separate from the rest of the house and has its own entrance. That’s where we store some of our work supplies. No one else will be staying at the house during your stay.

Relax with the whole family at this classic Cape Cod home in an upscale quiet neighborhood. This place will have everything you will need, including a private spacious back yard with hot tub, grille, firepit, and more. 1.5 miles to Craigville Beach making it an easy bike ride. I will provide a visitor's beach pass at no extra cost. I just installed mini-split ductless A/C so the house has whole house ductless air conditioning. This is my summer home not an Airbnb hotel run as a business. The space Three modest sized bedrooms with relatively new high-end mattresses. The design is a classic Cape. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a remote to control the mini-split ductless A/C unit in each bedroom. Similar units are in the t.v. room and living room. Guest access You will have access to the entire property. Some of my belongings will be in storage in the basement, the t.v. room closet and the garage but otherwise the house will be emptied of my belongings. This is my summer home, not one of those Airbnb hotels. If you want a hotel then this listing is not for you. The driveway can accommodate 4 cars but I've set a three care limit. Please do not bring more than three cars. A fourth car is not permitted. Parking on the street is not technically allowed and you could get towed. Also, I really like my neighbors and some not so nice past guests misled me by representing that they were a group of 6, traveling in two cars and then 8 showed up in separate cars and additional visitors came over to grille and watch the game. I'm not interested in hosting any college reunions or any event where other folks might just "drop by". I expect my guests to be respectful adults and primarily families who will appreciate that this is my summer home that I only rent occasionally. If you do not fit this description or if you plan to arrive with a caravan of cars and think this can be the basecamp for your college reunion, do not ask to stay at my place. Other things to note Cable t.v. in two rooms and highspeed internet access. No more than four cars are allowed in the driveway and NO STREET PARKING. This is a hard and fast rule.
