Bright airy guest suite in a quiet neighborhood about 3 blocks from the ocean. The unit has one queen bed and a convertible couch. For those who need a fast internet connection, we are on fiber-optic. There is free parking with the unit if you have a rental car, otherwise, you can use the beach cruisers to bike around town. Lots of popular beaches are within 10 minutes bike ride. The nearest supermarket is a 15 minutes bike ride. Free trolley to town also available 2 block from the house. The space There is a little fridge but no kitchen available. The unit has its own entrance and deck area. It is private, calm and quiet, although there can be pets walking around at night (cats, dogs, mongooses, birds eating shellfishes). Other things to note I have honey bees 🐝 🍯on property. They are on the other side of the house and harvest far away from home so you probably won’t even notice that they are here, but occasionally a bee will wander around the house. They are a very kind breed and don’t bother humans, however, if you are allergic to bees, this booking may not be appropriate for you.

The condo is one bedroom, with a king size bed. The kitchen is complete with everything you'll need; all new appliances, including washer & dryer, and cooking utensils, plastic ware for the pool & BBQ area. There are also towels, linens, extra fans, air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, cable TV, high speed internet. In the bedroom closet there are “beach” chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. Guest access The Kona Makai condo complex is breath taking with lush gardens, oceanside patio with lounge chairs, large BBQ area with 3 grills, 2 tennis courts, 2 workout rooms, ping pong table, and the pool is right outside our condo! You can walk, run, or bike on Ali'i Drive, catch the trolley through town, and access some of Kona's best beaches, all from this location. The Plumeria Suite is located on the owner's property in one of Kona's oldest subdivisions. It has its own parking and entrance separate from the main house. The space This is a private room with separate entrance and parking. There is a Queen size bed. There is no kitchen or laundry. There is a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. This unit is located on the owner's property. It is in a residential area close to the beach. There are lots of locals and tourists alike and the location really cannot be beat. If you want to experience Kona this is the place! Guest access Access with keypad lock Other things to note We are located 1 block up from Ali'i Drive off Royal Poinciana Drive, close to Banyan's and Lyman's surf spot. 3 miles to the south along Ali'i Drive leads to Kahalu'u beach and Keauhou, 3 miles to the north along Ali'i Drive ends at the Kona Pier. Both areas have great restaurants and shops. The Kona Trolley, also known as Hele-On Route 201, primarily serves Ali'i Drive in Kailua-Kona, offering transportation between various tourist attractions, beaches, and shopping centers. It runs frequently, typically every 10-20 minutes, between 9 am and 8 pm. The trolley's route includes stops at popular spots like Coconut Grove, Kailua Pier, and Keauhou Shopping Center. The trolley fare is $1 per ride. The closest pick up is a 10 min walk from the Lokelani Suite to the trolley pick up in front of Bali Kai Resort. Although, this unit is biking distance to both Kona pier and Keauhou we do not provide bikes. There are bike rentals around town if you choose to pedal first. Check out Kona Bike Works. We do recommend you rent a vehicle to get your full Big Island Experience! You can better access our white sand beaches to the north and our historic Honaunau city of refuge to the south. Volcano national park is 90 miles away and a day trip is possible with a vehicle.
