This will prevent water from traveling under the baseboards (which I have sealed) and onto the lower living room ceiling. To enter the property tap the Yale icon of the smart keypad to wake it up. Then enter the code you received separately and the door will unlock. Hitting the checkbox on the keypad will "one-touch" lock the door on your exit. To lock the sliding door you need to have it not all the way closed. You must pull it back just slightly (a smidge) after you close it for the latch to catch. Roku TVs -- Enter your checkout date and the TVs will wipe your credentials on that date from all the applications you log in to and use. This will keep your personal data safe from other travelers. All costs incurred by the host due to violations will be charged to the credit card on file. Reservations Reservations obtained under false pretense are subject to forfeiture of any and all monies paid, refusal to allow check-in or immediate eviction upon discovery. Check-in at the Property: You will be provided with a door code in your check-in email and may go directly to the property. Entry is not authorized until 3 PM Eastern time. Check-out: 10:00 AM All persons and personal items must be out by 10:00 AM Eastern time. This is for the safety of you and our staff. Cleaners will enter and begin cleaning promptly at 10 AM. There is a $100 per hour fee, one-hour minimum if you or your items are in the property after 10 AM. Before departing, please wash all dishes or start the dishwasher, take out the trash, and secure the property. Strip the beds and place them in the laundry room. It is important to leave the property as you found it with the furniture returned to its original location. If you have keys, return them to where you received them. In the rare case where a property is left excessively dirty, additional cleaning will be charged at $50 per hour, one-hour minimum. If you would like additional housekeeping services during your stay, contact us before your arrival for details and pricing. Beach towels are not provided at any rental unit, so remember to bring your own. Please don’t take linens, bedding, and towels to the beach, for picnicking or any other use. Occupancy The Maximum Occupancy listed for the property may not be exceeded. Occupancy is the number of people who stay the night and use the amenities during the day. This is a strict policy and the penalty is immediate eviction without refund. Parties, reunions, or large gatherings are not allowed unless authorized in advance. When in doubt, please ask. Emergencies / Problems and Repairs Call 911 first for medical, fire, and police emergencies. Smoking All of our properties are non-smoking. Violators are subject to immediate eviction, forfeiture of all monies, and additional cleaning charges, at a minimum of $300.00 which can be substantially higher. When allowed outside, smoke away from the premises and, only in designated areas. Dispose of your smoking remnants responsibly. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning charge. Fireworks Fireworks are prohibited at all properties. Violators are subject to eviction without a refund. Lost and Found The host is not responsible for items left on the property. If you have forgotten something, contact us to see if it has been found and arrange its return. Right of Entry Property owners and staff may need to enter the property for the purpose of inspection or maintenance. We will do our best to give you advance notice and not to disturb you. The oversized backyard offers a hot tub, fire pit, volleyball net, basketball goal, large deck, and gas grill. There is something for everyone here! The space The home has 5 bedrooms (sleeps 14) and 3 full bathrooms, including two ensuites with separate entrances to a hallway. The living space includes a screened-in porch, family room, dining room, fully stocked kitchen, a basement game room, and a backyard deck. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire house except for two storage areas in the basement. For security purposes, there are outdoor cameras by the front and back doors and on the side of the house facing the driveway. Other things to note For the beach, we provide towels, 14 beach chairs (including 8 Tommy Bahama backpack chairs and two chairs that sit higher off the ground), a wagon, some toys, and two backpack coolers.

A charming, light filled cottage to rest and relax in and forget the outside world. Cottage is within walking distance of everything you need in South Haven.You can walk to both North and South beaches (each only a mile away), restaurants, antique stores, shops and movie theater or you can relax with a book on our dreamy front porch. Note: Our cleaning crew has highest cleaning standards. Every surface in the house is cleaned and disinfected with highest quality cleaning products. The space The cottage is an older home, lovely and full of character, but updated for ultimate comfort of our guests, The rooms are painted light colors, full of windows to bring in light and fresh air. The furniture is comfortable but relaxed so guests don't have to worry about kicking back. The dinning room has a large dinning table that can comfortably seat over 12 people so families and friends can linger over breakfast pancakes and coffee or with glasses or wine in the evenings. All but one room are on the first floor. These include the living room, kitchen, dining area, four bedrooms, two bathrooms (including the one with the claw foot tub) and the laundry room. This makes it easier for elderly people to access. The second floor houses a large bedroom with a work area, and a large an suite bathroom. Walls are lined with maps and nature inspired art, bookshelves are overflowing with books for our guests to enjoy. The cottage can accommodate smaller or large groups of people. The bedrooms are tucked in, so everyone can find privacy; the bunk room is a walk through room but it has doors that close to the rest of the house. The common areas are open and large so families can watch movies together on the large TV in the living room, or play board games in the dinning room. The three large bathrooms are updated and comfortable, two bathrooms with showers and one with an antique claw-foot tub for those who love to spend time soaking and pampering themselves. The backyard is perfect for spending time playing games, grilling on the large deck, building bonfires in the fire pit and telling stories into the night. This cottage is over a hundred years old, and reminiscent in style of old European farmhouses. It reminds me of my grandfather's farmhouse on the Danube where I spent my summers as a young girl and I tried to bring the decor that lives in my memories from those tranquil times. The windows are covered in gauzy lace curtains, walls decorated with botanical and landscape watercolors, kitchen items mismatched and bookshelves stocked with books for every taste. You’ll love this fully stocked kitchen, featuring crisp white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, and a lovely tiled backsplash. The second level offers 3 bedrooms. A primary suite with a king bed (new for 2025!), dresser, and nightstand and lamp. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the private balcony. The ensuite bath has a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third bedroom has a queen bed. These two rooms share a hall bath with a tub/shower. On the third floor, two lucky guests will have an entire floor to themselves. This primary suite has dormer walls with skylights, a queen bed, and a large seating area with both futon and armchair. With large windows and plenty of sunshine, it’s a lovely spot to “get away from it all” and enjoy a few minutes of solitude. The ensuite bath features a walk-in shower, also with skylights.   Peak & Non-Peak Season During the peak season (mid-June through mid-August), this home would have a 7-night minimum and would rent Saturday - Saturday.
