We are happy to recommend places as well. • Do you have a barbecue grill? Yes, there is a BBQ grill ·Should we clean the cabin ourselves? The cabin is professionally cleaned after every stay. The cleaning fee that is charged goes directly to the cleaners themselves. • What do we do with dishes and soiled linens? The linens, towels, etc. may be left in the bathtub in the bathroom. Dishes, silverware, etc. need to be cleaned, dried, and put back into the cabinets. Security deposit is handled through Airbnb and is just a hold they place on the card for 48 hours after check out. • How do we get keys to the cabin? There is also a second level so if you want to go upstairs there is a set of stairs to go up to the second level. During the winter months, carrying chains on you is almost always required, unless your car is a four-wheel drive. Storms may be unpredictable, and therefore it helps to have them. Additionally, during the winter months, the CHP may stop you to see if you have them and ticket you if you don’t. You can check chain requirements and road conditions at Caltrans. com. • Thermostat Adjustment: Due to the increased heat load, the fridge’s thermostat may take longer to detect that the interior temperature has risen above the set point. The 4th room is often the "kids" room. it has built in full over full bunks and a its own 1/2 bath. There is another 1/2 bath down in the garage/game room as well. If our outdoor security cameras indicate that you are trying to sneak on any kind of animal, your full security deposit of $1,000 will automatically be forfeited. FIREPLACE: The fireplaces burn wood. You will need to provide your own fire wood, which is sold in bundles at the local stores (VONS, DYI Store, STATER BROS., KMART). BBQ: There is a propane BBQ grill onsite that you can use. You need to provide your own propane gas tank. Every guest needs to clean the BBQ grill after use. JACUZZI: Before using the spa please read and carefully follow instructions posted at the house in our guest manual. If it has snowed recently, tire chains may be REQUIRED to come up the mountain. The CHP will make you turn around and get tire chains if you don’t have them, so it is best if you have them in your vehicle before you leave your house. Reservations cannot be cancelled due to weather. In case the city plows the street, every drive way in the city will have a berm from the snow plow. If you have snow on the driveway or pathway to the house or a berm blocking the driveway, you are responsible for removing the snow yourself during your stay, at arrival or at departure. We have an eero wifi mesh network that covers the entire house, so everyone can enjoy high speed internet without dead spots. The house has just been updated and modernized with better layouts and furniture. This house is a great joy for us, and I know that it will be perfect for your group as well! There are 2 large (10' x 20') game rooms with air hockey, pool table, side by side hoops basketball game, bar table with high stools, and futon. The other has a ping pong table and air hockey. Great places for the younger people. We are getting a great responses from our guests. The game rooms are converted garages with carpeting, extra lighting and curtains. Also enjoy the original paintings that reflect our rustic decor. We have approximately 20 paintings through out the house. Rentals restricted to max of 2 immediate family groups.
