This is a two unit cabin with a separate studio attached. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 small bathroom, a full kitchen and laundry room. The upstairs has 2 twin beds and the downstairs has 1 queen bed. There is also a queen size air mattress. For winter season there will be additional charges for snow removal. As required by Placer County, a transit occupancy tax of 10% on the total payout will be charged seperately to our guests. This unit is not suitable for small children. The space West Lake Tahoe Getaway - surrounded by National Forests and State Parks - close to hiking and biking trails, beaches, paddle boarding, boating and floating down the river - only 7 mi. from Tahoe City, 1.5 mi. from Homewood for skiing/snowboarding, and 5 mi. to Emerald Bay. The space This cozy mountain cabin is tucked away from the road, offering a peaceful and private retreat. Enjoy the beauty of towering Sugar Pine and Cedar trees—some over 250 years old—right on the property. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, with comfortable living space below, including a foldout sofa that sleeps up to six guests. In summer, relax on two large sunny decks, and in winter, enjoy the open space out front for snow-day fun. End your day unwinding in the 6–7 person hot tub after a day on the slopes. West Shore Hideout | Hot Tub+Bikes+Walk to Beach!

Cozy log cabin perfectly located a short walk to the beach, a lovely bike ride to Sugar Pines State Park, and 5 mins to Homewood Ski Resort. Strong WIFI and smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms, gas fireplace in the living room, heaters in bedrooms, and a nice deck w/ a propane bbq. Our cabin is very tiny, yet very comfortable -- perfect for a couple with young children. It is NOT big enough to squeeze in 4 adult-size people. No additional visitors are allowed. The space While our Little Bear Cabin is tiny, it is furnished beautifully. The bedrooms are comfortable, with a queen bed and a set of twin bunkbeds. There is a shed at the driveway to park your ski equipment and bikes, although the neighborhood is very safe so bikes would be fine locked on the patio. We love eating outside, weather permitting, and tend to eat on the patio as much as possible. There is a gas grill on the patio, but we don't pay attention to the gas jug since we're not at the cabin regularly. If you need a tank refill, you can get it at Obexer's, which is about 5 minutes away. Tahoma market might also carry refills, which is a couple blocks away. A couple important things to note: There is NO dishwasher. Also, our cleaners do not have the bandwidth to monitor the cleaning of the outdoor grill. Guests are asked to clean the grill after their usage out of courtesy to the next guests - and to prevent bear visitation. We also are not able to monitor the propane tank - however, the local stores offer propane refills. Guest access You will have access to the entire tiny house and the shed for your ski equipment and any bikes. No additional visitors are allowed - overnight or during the day. Other things to note The cabin has a bear wire system that must be turned off immediately upon your arrival. The power cell is the brown box at the entrance: just switch to OFF. There are bungee cords across the front door -- please unhook and hook to the other side to keep out of the way. From November to April, we have a private snow plow service who will plow anytime there is 5" of snowfall. They will also come to knock down the berm from the County plow of the street. If your vehicle is in the driveway, they will plow as much as possible, but would be better to move your car over so they can plow out a space right in front of the house. Note: Tahoe is a wildlife area and there are critters that are natural to this environment. We do employ a pest company that services monthly, but there may indeed be chipmunks, mice, and bats that visit the cabin at inconvenient times. Welcome to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe! This warm and cozy cabin within walking distance to the lake, cross-country ski trails, and a slice of pizza. Enjoy all the Tahoe has to offer, year-round. Follow us @tahomahaus! Please note: El Dorado County restricts short-term rentals in Tahoe so unfortunately, this property has a 31 night minimum for rentals. Thank you. The space We mostly use our cabin to ski during the winter months and use it as a rental property during the summer. Like most cabins in Tahoe, the house itself is older, but we keep the interior tidy and comfortable to relax after a day in the great outdoors. UPSTAIRS The main bedroom is upstairs and has a Casper king-sized mattress, Thuma bed frame, and West Elm sheets. There are two closets and a set of drawers, two nightstands, and carpeting. There's a twin bed in a small nook upstairs as well that also includes a Casper twin mattress, Thuma daybed frame, and Quince bedding. This bed isn't private but is a great place for a kid or a smaller adult. In an open landing on the second floor, there are two desks with lamps for remote work and a small gym set up with a mirror, yoga mat, bands, and adjustable dumbells. There is one bathroom upstairs that is small but does include a standing shower. There is a vanity with a mirror and light for additional "getting ready" space upstairs. DOWNSTAIRS The main entrance leads into a cozy family room with a large cream-colored sectional couch from Interior Define, marble coffee table, and TV on an adjustable lever (for watching from the couch when lowered or raised to watch while prepping dinner from the kitchen). This room also includes a small pine dining table and chairs, a leather side chair, and a small bar. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to prep a feast or quick pre-ski breakfast. There's a Nespresso coffee maker, Oxo drip coffee maker and grinder, Ninja blender, and toaster oven with a bagel toasting function. There is also a small countertop dishwasher that can be used for glassware or sanitizing baby bottles. Off the kitchen, there's a larger bathroom with a shower over a bathtub and washer/dryer. The second bedroom is next to the bathroom and has a queen Casper mattress, Thuma bed frame, nightstand, and a small vintage desk and lamp. This room has a spacious closet and chest of drawers and a big window facing the front of the house. OUTSIDE There is a small patio at the front of the house with a bistro table and two chairs, but the main seating is in the backyard. There's a small floating deck with a 5-person patio table and folding chairs as well as a few beach chairs. Corn hole is also available to play in the large fenced-in backyard shaded by giant sugar pine trees. Dogs will love stretching their legs while safely enclosed in the yard (though you will likely spot many loose "Tahoe dogs" roaming the neighborhood). In the carport, there is a propane grill as well as stacked fire wood. There are typically no fires allowed over the summer in Tahoe (and most of California). Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire property. Other things to note Our doors and windows have electrified bear gates which can be turned on/off outside and inside. Tahoma is famous for its bear residents and during the summer especially it's important to use the bear gates when leaving the house for an extended period of time. You always want to remove food from your car and lock the doors at night as well. We will share detailed instructions for how to use the bear gates, but trust us, you'll be glad to have them :)

Step into our cozy cabin in Tahoma, just minutes from Lake Tahoe and the Homewood Ski Resort. The interior is a blend of modern and Old Tahoe style. It is two stories with a bedroom and a bathroom on each level. The top bedroom loft overlooks the dining and living room areas. Complete with fully equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove. Modern conveniences included, such as fast Wifi, Smart TVs, Playstation 4, an espresso machine, and waffle maker. The space UPSTAIRS BED & BATH A queen bed with leather and acacia wood bed frame with a Tuft & Needle environmentally-friendly adaptive foam mattress, half bathroom, and closet. The bedroom is an open loft-style bedroom and there is no door, but there are curtains that can be shut for privacy. There is an attached private half-bathroom and dog bed available in the closet. DOWNSTAIRS BED & BATH A queen bed also with a Tuft & Needle environmentally-friendly adaptive foam mattress and optional twin trundle that rolls out from under the queen bed. A doggie door is located in the downstairs bedroom. A full bathroom with a shower is also located downstairs, not attached to the bedroom. There is on-demand hot water to the shower. LIVING ROOM The sofa in the living room is a queen leather sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. The upstairs bedroom and the living room includes a Roku TV with streaming services. The living room also has a Playstation 4 and a Nintendo 64, with several games. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully stocked and includes pots and pans, bakeware, and cooking utensils. Also, an espresso machine, coffee maker, waffle maker, copper teapot, and a Breville countertop quick-heat oven + toaster. OUTDOOR The backyard is occupied by a long-term tenant who rents the smaller cabin on the property, so please be mindful of their privacy and the shared backyard. The spacious front yard and deck are ideal for summer evenings spent grilling and enjoying the space. **The outdoor furniture and grill are not available during winter months due to heavy snow throughout the season. OTHER NOTES Young humans are welcome, but please keep in mind that the stairs to the second floor are steep. You may need to bring a baby gate to keep little ones safe. While the property is in a neighborhood, we are not far from forest areas. There is always a possibility of bears wandering the neighborhood and the occasional spider inside the house. We also have a local, on-demand ride service called the TART Connect but this may also have delays, please preview their website for more information. Additional services such as Doordash or Instacart are not available in our area.   How should I prepare for winter road conditions? Will my driveway be cleared? Please check the California Highway Conditions before driving to Tahoe! This is very important as road conditions can change rapidly. Vehicles should have 4WD or AWD, Winter rated tires and carry snow chains in case of emergency. Vehicles with 2-wheel drive are not recommended in mountainous, winter conditions. County and local snow removal companies work diligently during winter storms, be patient and drive slowly. Tahoe roads and driveways can be slanted, hilly, and steep.   Parking Per county ordinance, street parking is not allowed under any circumstance. Each home has a designated number of parking spaces as determined by the county. This number cannot be exceeded. Our 2BD/2BA welcoming home sleeps 5-7 people (3 or 4 adults + kids is optimal). The living room, dining nook & kitchen are an open floor plan, allowing for gatherings and making memories. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking equipment. On the front deck we have a gas BBQ, deck chairs and an outdoor table. If you need to warm up, we have a wood-burning fireplace in living room. The snow/mudroom has a washer & dryer & space to store snow/beach items. The space The living room features a large flat screen TV(No CABLE SERVICE) and a gas burning fireplace An Amazon Firestick and wifi are provided for your entertainment, but you will need to provide your own login for the Firestick. The kitchen has seating for 4 people at the dining table and additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. Off of the kitchen, you will find the half bathroom and a laundry room. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a Twin/Full bunk bed. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom that features a shower/tub combo that is also located on the second floor. Outside of the home, relax on the front porch or grill on the back porch. You have direct access to hiking trails and are close to great shopping in Homewood. You are 1.5 miles from the Homewood Resort and a little over 12 miles from Olympic Valley! Enchanted Woods Cabin

Come make great memories in our cozy cabin! Perfect for a family getaway, our modest but fully equipped cabin is on the quiet West Shore of Lake Tahoe within minutes of soft-sand beaches, amazing ski resorts, and gorgeous trails. (Please note: The county ordinance has limited occupancy here to 4 adults; children 5 and under do not apply to this limit.) The space The cabin has lots of Old Tahoe charm mixed with modern conveniences like a gas free-standing stove for warmth, new windows, and a washer and dryer set. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, and the upstairs bedroom has a queen and twins (we can also provide a pack-n-play and portable high chair for the littlest ones). Please note: The new county ordinance is limiting my occupancy to 4 adults; children 5 and under do not apply to this 4-person limit. The loft (as large as a regular room) is a great hangout space. There are two full bathrooms in the cabin. In the summer, relax or barbecue out on the large front deck. Walk to the nearby beach, country store, pizza parlor, or park. A paved bike path will take you north to Chamber's Landing or Tahoe City, or south to Sugar Pine Point State Park. There are easy or more difficult hikes both north and south, and the soft-sand beaches of Meeks Bay are just 5 minutes south. And a little farther south is the gorgeous Emerald Bay. The slopes of Palisades, at Alpine and in the Olympic Valley, are nearby. Although Homewood is closed this winter, West Shore Sports is offering great snow experiences. You can go cross-country skiing just down the road at Sugar Pine Point State Park, and hit a perfectly sized hill for sledding about 10 minutes north. We've also made mini sledding hills (and snow people and igloos!) with our kids right outside our door when we've had a good snowfall. There is a small but well-stocked market conveniently located just a few blocks away. We make sure to have our driveway plowed when there's steady snowfall, and the deck will be shoveled free of snow upon your arrival. The roads around our cabin are plowed regularly, which makes accessing the cabin easy in the winter. In the cabin you'll find a huge stock of movies, boardgames, and books to snuggle up with. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home and property. Other things to note Please refer to the RENTAL AGREEMENT under HOUSE RULES. Retreat from the hurry and haste of everyday life to in this beautiful, simple shelter nestled in Homewood on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventures or spending a weekend with a good book and a roaring fire, Wayfare Cabin is the perfect haven. The space Wayfare Cabin is a quintessential A-frame — both simple and luxurious — set against idyllic views of pine trees and a seasonal stream that runs through the south end of the property. The cabin sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a loft with two twin beds, all with adaptive foam mattresses, luxurious linens, and Pendleton wool blankets. The open great room is the perfect spot to relax after a day outdoors in front of a cozy fire. There is a kitchen stocked with all the essentials and a dining table for gathering. On warmer days, enjoy the deck with outdoor seating and BBQ. The cabin also includes a washer/dryer, towels, and a good supply of firewood. It’s truly a home away from home to call your own. Note: In the winter, the wood stove is the main source of heat for the cabin. Also, if you're traveling with kiddos be cautious of the stove (it gets very hot) and the stairs going up to the loft. Those who bring a pet that is not authorized by us beforehand will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning fee will be applied. The space THE HOME Escape to the lake with Waters Edge Jewel. This Tahoma condo features beautiful lake views, all the benefits of the Waters Edge HOA membership, and a prime location. You'll love the open "shared space" concept with spacious loft sleeping areas surrounding the great room below. With a central Chamberlands location, easy level access and free shuttle to full beach, pool & tennis privileges (summer only), this house is perfect for couples, a group of friends or families alike! The house is very well equipped and can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. Please note, however, that due to county ordinance, we’re only allowed to host up to 6 adults. Additional children under age 16 are welcome up to a max occupancy of 10. The house was remodeled in 2019 and features a blend of natural wood and rock throughout. It has a very warm and cozy feeling to the house that is accentuated by the unique blend of traditional bedrooms along with open concept loft sleeping areas. All homes have access to a private section of the beach and can use shuttle service for transportation from their homes to the beach. The shuttle departs every half hour on the hour beginning at 11am with the last regular run at 4:30pm. The shuttle operates daily from approximately July 1st – August 20th. Chambers Landing Restaurant is a local’s favorite and located right next to the private beach area on the water. During the summer, offering an outdoor bar and grill during the day and open for fine dining in the evenings, Chambers Landing Restaurant has it all! We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.  Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.  Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the driveway.  Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.  Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.  Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone’s safety. It is each guest’s responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you’ll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.  Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it’s essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel. Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.   Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.  Office Holiday Hours The TTVR office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor spaces which include a backyard, a (seasonal) patio, and a hot tub. There is a locked homeowner closet guests will not have access to. Guests will also have access to two parking spots in the driveway in front of the home.  Private beach and pier is available seasonally. Dogs are allowed on one portion of the beach.
