For those who like to sleep in, there are 2 new comfy, king-size beds. There's a well equipped kitchen with new appliances, and for all those who love to cook or wish they knew how, the kitchen has a fun and diverse library of wonderful cookbooks. They could choke to death on a lost frog that leaps into their mouth or have their testicles gnawed off by a deranged and no doubt confused by the 'squishy not crunchy nuts in its mouth' squirrel, whilst sun baking on the dock in the nude. The house is built on slopping ground on the side of a hill and the trees grow through and around the deck and when you're in the house at elevation you're surrounded by treetops therefore it gives a feeling and impression like you[re perched in the trees, moreso in summer and spring when foliage is abundant and less so in winter when the trees, without leaves, are butt naked. The space Our house was originally built as a true log cabin with a central stone fireplace in the 1890s. Through the years, a bedroom and a porch (now the cozy living room) were added. The footprint of the original log cabin now includes a kitchen and dining room area with a wood stove and a beautiful bathroom tucked behind the stone chimney. We spend a lot of our time in the back yard, listening to frogs and the chorus of birds in the surrounding forest, grilling and dining outside. Our fire pit is surrounded by stump seats taken from the stately maple tree that once stood in the yard. In the winter, we ski out our back door into the state forest land. Stargazing is excellent year-round! Guest access You'll have access to the whole cabin, including the new laundry room and the extensive backyard space. Park up to three cars in the paved driveway! Follow the gently sloping path up to the front door steps and keypad entry; once unlocked, access steps-free entrances from the back.
