It has had all new flooring installed, brand new bathrooms, and the whole house has been freshly painted. Being that the home is 35 years old, there are some imperfections, like a few windows are a little difficult to open. The kitchen counter top is the original counter top. It is in good shape, so we opted not to replace it just yet. Please note you must be 21 years old to book a stay with us. Our home is in a gated community. Our community does require that all guests be registered to gain access to the community. We will ask for a list of all the guests full names. We also need to list any drivers with our gate to gain access to the community. Please note that we do have a fire pit. If there has not been a lot of rain the community may decide to do a burn ban which would prohibit the use of the fire pit. This is beyond our control. To compensate for this we have purchased a lovely fire table that you could use instead. You would still be able to use the grill and the fire table in the event of a burn ban. We will not issue refunds for burn bans, or closing of any community amenities due to rain or any other unforseen circumstance that is beyond our control. **Please note that there is a ring doorbell/camera mounted on the front door that does record any movement in the driveway and anyone coming in the front door. **

All linens (towels, sheets, duvets) are 100% cotton, all mattresses are memory foam, and pillows are filled with down alternative for superior comfort. The space Our one-level home offers three cozy bedrooms and two full baths, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. It is fully equipped with all the necessary comforts of home, including high-speed internet perfect for remote work, central heating, in-unit laundry, wood burning fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. The open concept living room and kitchen make it easy to cook and relax together. The cabin is nestled in nature, offering the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. Take advantage of the gated community's amenities, or venture out to nearby ski resorts or see the famous Bushkill Falls. At the end of the day, gather around the fireplace and share stories or enjoy one our many provided board games! Guest access The entire house and all amenities of the community. 6 complimentary amenity passes will be provided for your entire stay. Each additional pass can be purchased at the members office for $10 each per day. Only ages 6 and older need amenity passes. Saw Creek’s amenities include four outdoor swimming pools plus two kiddie pools, two indoor pools, two indoor whirlpool spas. Indoor and outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a racquetball court, a fitness center. A lakefront beach, a fishing pond, canoes and kayaks, a walking trail, and multiple playgrounds. An on-site restaurant called “Top of the World”, poolside Tiki Bar and snack bar (Some amenities such as the outdoor pools, Tiki Bar, pond, and boats are available during the summer months only.) In the winter, Saw Creek boasts its own family-friendly private ski area with 3 groomed trails, chairlift, ski patrol, lessons, equipment rentals, and a sledding hill. Other things to note -The home lies within a gated community and requires that all guests be registered to receive access. We will require your address and a list of all guest names prior to your arrival. FAQ: Q: Can I check in early? (or can I check out late?) A: While we try to accommodate requests, we are often unable to commit until a day or two before your arrival (or departure). If we have guests checking out and others checking in on the same day, we’ll need to stick with our standard times to leave our cleaning team adequate time. Unauthorized late checkouts will be subject to a fee of $25 per half hour after check-out time. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Yes! There is a $100 pet fee, when you add your pet(s) to your reservation request, the fee will automatically be included in your total. Q: Is firewood provided? A: No, we occasionally have firewood but cannot guarantee it. We have a log splitter but please be careful and use at your own risk. If you'd like to purchase wood for our fireplace/ fire pit there are a couple places to do so nearby. Our go to is the local Price Chopper! Q: Do you have air conditioning? A: We have a split ductless AC unit located in our open-space kitchen/living room area. It is usually enough to cool the whole house but on hot days we recommend leaving the bedroom doors open so the cool air can get in. We also provide portable fans in the bedrooms to help keep you cool during your stay! Q: Are towels provided at the pool locations? A: No, we suggest bringing your own pool towels if you plan to visit the pool often. Q: Are linens and towels provided? A: Yes, linens and bath towels are provided, no need to bring your own! Q: Are fireworks allowed? A: No, fireworks are not allowed, fines can be up to $1000 for setting off fireworks in our community. Q: Oh no, I left something at your place! Can you send it back to me? A: While we can’t guarantee the return of your item, we’ll try our best. We just ask for reimbursement of expenses incurred to get it back to you.

Other things to note Because this cottage is also our second home and due to recent issues in the area we are not accepting newly created Airbnb profiles. Special exceptions can be made at our discretion. -- TRASH - service is Friday evening. Bins located by the street next to our driveway. Always bag garbage and lock the bins and garbage shed when done. PETS- You're free to walk around with your dog but they must be on a leash at all times. There is abundant wildlife here as well as other dogs in this neighborhood. Guests will need to bring their own firewood for the fireplace. If any wood is available outside this may be used for the outdoor fire pit but we advise guests bring their own in case there isn't seasonal wood available. For longer stays, if you require laundry service or towel replenishment (for a small fee), or use of washer/dryer (free), please let us know in advance. The road to our cottage (while beautiful) is not paved, during icier months it is advisable to use a vehicle with 4 Wheel Drive. Upstairs and Downstairs Living areas are controlled with the silver remotes located in each room. Sun icon = Heat Snowflake icon = AC. The upstairs and downstairs living room units are connected to wifi and have eco settings which may default back to a comfortable temp range (68-72 degrees) during prolonged periods of heavy usage. If you encounter an Error Message it usually is because one unit is set to heat while the other is set to cool. All units need to be on the same mode to function. Please note the Bunk bed room does not have a split unit system, it has a space heater and can be outfit with a window fan in the warmer months if desired. If you are staying for more than a few days, additional chlorine is available for the hot tub in the cabinet downstairs next to the mini fridge. Please cover the hot tub when not in use. The cover folds up and can be placed to the right of the tub. While there are adult life preservers for use, we require that life preservers for CHILDREN be purchased by guests. On the deck we have an outside bar, gas grill , and table to dine. Outside besides the deck we have a six person hot tub with led lights and massaging jets. We have a laundry room with washer and dryer. The Pool is open. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and property minus the garage. Other things to note We are close to many hiking trails. There is the Delaware Water Gap and Appalachian trail. A quarter mile away is the Hidden Lake state park with a trail that goes around the lake. We are six miles to Bushkill Falls trail and water fall. In the winter there is Shawnee Ski Mountain Resort which is only 2 miles away. There is skiing, snowboarding, and tubing available.

Within minutes of our gates there is horseback riding, zip lines, tree adventure programs, go-kart racing, Delaware River National Park, walking trails, Shawnee Ski Area. Just a drive away from Camelback, Kalahari Water Park, The Commons Outlet Mall which features over 100 designer stores. Most important, we welcome guests of all walks of life The space Entire house - 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, loft, 2 full baths, 1 screened porch, 2 decks, backyard, driveway, access to complex indoor and outdoor pools, lake, sport courts, ski slopes. Guest access GUEST BADGES As courtesy we offer 6 passes (fobs) to be used by our guests during their stay. Fobs (passes) are required to gain access to the amenities, therefore they have to be left in the house at the end of your stay. Failure to follow this rule will occur in payment for the replacement of all 6 fobs. Extra passes can be purchased at the Community Office at $20 per pass, per day. Maximum of 6 passes to be purchased. Fobs do not give access to ski lift or gear. Passes for the ski lift are sold onsite. Gear rental is also available onsite. On summer season guests can use fobs to gain access to lake and kayaks, canoes and John boats, but NOT to paddle boards, which can be rented onsite for an extra fee. PLEASE NOTE THAT ACCESS TO BOATS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS. CLEANING We strive to provide the best stay experience to our guests. The first step to meet that goal is making sure our home is cleaned to the highest standards. Upon arrival, guests should take a minute to notice it. If that promise hasn’t been fulfilled, guests are required to contact us within their first hour of the stay in order to have us fix the problem. LET’S HAVE FUN... With amenity pass, guests will have access to amenities in the community, such as pools, sport courts, lake/pond, whirlpools, fitness center, etc. Host will provide 6 complimentary passes (fobs) to be used by guests and left at the house at the end of their stay. Please note that if you are in a group with more than 6 people, you’ll have to take turns going to the amenities that require one pass (fob) per person. Other things to note - Self check-in with keypad. - Further info about guests, such as name and address will be required after booking. Copy of valid ID may be required as well. - When snowing, guests are required to move their vehicles off the driveway so the snow removal can be done. It’s the guests responsibility to be alert for the snow plow. We will not contact guests for that matter. Snow removal service is scheduled to come whenever there is a 3 inches or more of snow accumulation. Please note that there is no snow removal when the accumulation is below 3 inches, therefore guests must be comfortable parking/driving in and out of unplowed driveway, in case the accumulation is below 3 inches. No parking on the streets is permitted, so please stay in the car while the plowing is being done and park back on the driveway after snow removal is completed. - We are not responsible for any of the amenities closure due to cleaning, rainy days, holidays or any other schedule changes. Please note that on 4th of July, the TOW outdoor pool won’t accept amenity badges. That day there is a barbecue to all patrons and they will charge an entrance fee to cover for the food costs. All other days pool will be honoring the guest badges. - Outdoor amenities such as outdoor pools and lake beach are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Community boats are only available on Saturday and Sunday. Guests are allowed to bring their own NON motorized boats. After booking is confirmed guests will gain access to amenity addresses, as that information is not allowed on this platform prior to booking. After Labor Day, all outdoor pools close for the season, except for the TOW Recreation Center outdoor pool, which is located only a few yards from our home. That pool usually remains open on weekends, weather permitting, until end of September. Indoor pools will be open year round. However, during summer season, indoor pools will only open on inclement weather days conditions. Once the danger of thunder or lightning has passed, patrons may go back into the water. On Summer Season the indoor pools are only open on inclement weather days.
