Our spacious newly renovated 5 bedroom home has a Sunrise, Sunset view. Out in the country but close to many attractions including The Nook, Hershey Park, Sight & Sound and Amish Country. It features a huge great room with fireplace, pool table and shuffleboard. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ lots of space to gather around the island, dining room table and living room with a gas fireplace. The Lower Level King Suite gives versatility to your stay. Two patios with gas grills complete this home The space This two level home is open and inviting. On the first floor the large entryway leads to the versatile 24’ x 24’ Great Room off to the right. This is the perfect place to play games, cards, put puzzles together or just chill on the comfy sectional recliners. The pool table and shuffleboard on the other end of the room is great for some friendly competition. With a kitchenette for light refreshments, snacks and a high top table, it’s all there to enjoy. There is a refrigerator with an ice-maker in the large closet. (We’ve included a queen air mattress for that room if needed). The first floor level has a spacious light & open kitchen, dining area and bedrooms on the left side of the home. There is a stackable washer & dryer and a door to the lower patio steps off the hallway. The three bedrooms and master bath are toward the back of the house. The king and queen rooms have flat screen smart TVs, ceiling fans, luggage racks, blinds with room darkening curtains, work space and comfy beds. The bunk room has a queen bed with a twin on top and a pull out twin trundle bed. It also has a flat screen TV, ceiling fan, luggage rack and is a great fit for kids. There is two way entry to this room. One doorway from this bedroom to the full bathroom shared as the main bathroom and one to enter from the master and queen room hall way. Now enter our newly renovated lower level Master King Suite down the stairway off of the kitchen. We have created a space with adult privacy in mind or a family to enjoy as well. The King Suite includes a gas fireplace for a warm and cozy feel, 55' smart TV along with a full kitchen and island with seating for two. There is access to a beautiful private patio with gas grill and back yard including a swing set for kids to enjoy. You will access the master bath off of the King Suite featuring a spacious whirlpool tub next to a walk in shower. It has a double vanity and a large closet. There is a second doorway for access to the hallway. The second lower level bedroom has twin bunk beds and a sectional sofa. The sofa can be transformed into a place to sleep equivalent to a queen bed. The large TV in that room is great for kids to enjoy video games or movies. Of course adults like that privilege as well. There is a separate laundry room equipped with full size washer, dryer and sink in this lower level. Guest access The entire first floor and lower level is accessible to our guests as well as the upper and lower patios. The garage is locked and not accessible to our guests. Please note the neighboring pond area is private property. Other things to note Our entire home is equipped with a new sprinkler system. There is also a generator in case of loss of power.

For nature enthusiasts, the Northwest Lancaster county river trail is a stone's throw away, offering scenic views and outdoor activities. This family-friendly Airbnb also features off-street parking for your convenience. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a starting point for your adventures in the region, our home in Marietta is the perfect choice for a memorable stay. There is a separate efficiency apartment operating as an airbnb attached to the home. There are no shared spaces with this apartment and no privacy violations. The apartment has its own entrance at the front of the building. At the risk of turning people away, it is worth noting that Marietta is an old train town and trains do still run daily along the river. Most find the trains charming, but if you are light sleeper or sensitive to sound this may not be the best place for you.

We do not allow parties and prefer family units. The space The home features a curved stairway. Second floor is not handicap accessible. Full bath/shower combination is on second floor. First floor has a washbowl and toilet in a powder room. The house is located next to a rural road that can be busy at times. There is a nice backyard for children to play. Guest access Guests have access to a big back yard. We can provide some outdoor games. You can also walk or bike around neighborhood. There are some paved and unpaved bike trails within 10 miles. Other things to note Please note that our 4th bedroom with twin beds is only accessible by a narrow spiral staircase. Children under 12 should not be in this area unless accompanied by an adult. No bathrooms are located on this floor above the stone room.

There are also several food/beverage options in close proximity. This place is not to be missed! The space Upon entering from the driveway is the laundry room, equipped with a sink, washer and dryer. Up the stairs to the main living space is the kitchen and family/dining area. To the right of the kitchen is a private suite with a TV room, bedroom with queen bed, and full bath. There is also a separate exit that leads to the stairs out the back. To the right of the kitchen and family/dining area, is the king bedroom with full bath and walk-in closet, as well as a third full bathroom and stairway to the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor is solely two bedrooms, side by side. One has a queen bed, the other has two queen beds. There is parking for one vehicle in the entrance driveway, and an additional driveway off the barn that will fit two vehicles, and street side parking. The trash cans are located under the stairs in the back. Guest access The available space is the living space as described. There is a small yard between the building and the barn for use. There is no garage/basement access as this is used for storage. There are multiple options for restaurants, bars, food delivery etc in the area. Other things to note River access is located at the ramp 2 houses up river. (Ramp located at 6140 River Dr) The concrete ramp down to the River at the bottom of the driveway in front of the Lux Cottage is owned by the neighbor and is no trespassing. From time to time there are implications of being in close proximity to the river that may be perceived as a nuisance to guests such as insects, mosquitoes, stink bugs, mayflies, bees, etc. We do have monthly Pest Control maintenance to minimize these insects.
