Parish and Bell Tower

Relax and unplug at this comfortable and accommodating cabin on Long Lake just south of Danbury, WI. Our favorite activities include: bonfires, swimming, kayaking, feeding fish off the dock, catching fish, and games indoor and out. Sit back and take in the beautiful sunsets this property has to offer while creating life long memories with friends and family. There is a detached garage with a bunkhouse above the garage. The space This property is located 2 miles from Danbury. Danbury offers all of your every day essentials as well as a couple of restaurants and a casino. Guest access We have a floating dock about 200 feet from shore. There are 2 single kayaks and 2 double kayaks available for use as well as some kid and adult life jackets, however not enough for everyone to go kayaking at the same time. There are plenty of toys, and kid and adult games. Adult games include botchy ball, bags, and ladder golf. Kids can enjoy a small swing set on the edge of the property. There is an older canoe and row boat that could be used for fishing. A trolling motor could easily be attached to the row boat if you have one. There is not a public boat landing on this lake despite what the DNR website says. We have a gas grill for guests to use. Other things to note Growing up I spent summers at my Grandma's cabin. When she passed, and the cabin was sold I was determined to give my kids similar memories and experiences. I'm happy we can share our cabin and hope you have a memorable stay!

The space -North Woods Family Getaway is unique because we have benefited from an extended family of gifted builders, designers and restorers, who have contributed their skills to make our place comfortable and homey over the 16 years since we’ve owned it. We enjoy family gatherings when family members can be seen playing a game of bocce ball or croquet in the yard or chatting on the decks. Children have plenty of space to play and are very welcome. -We have a small section of an ATV/Snowmobile trail which runs through our land, a little distance away and out of sight of the house. -The Gandy Dancer Trail for hiking and biking is just 1/3 mile away. From there you can explore 20 miles of trail just in Burnett County. -Lakes and Rivers are nearby with public access points available. -Fox Run Golf Course and Sand Greens Country Club within 5 miles. -We are located close to WI-35, which makes us easy to find, offers convenience and is helpful in the winter because the roads are regularly plowed. Guest access The whole house is for your use. We only have one bedroom on the ground floor which we will keep locked and is off limits. There are two points of water access, boat launch or boat docks. You can find a sand bar accessible by boat on Love Lake. Don't want to leave the property? Arthur & Archie's Ice House is within walking distance. The space Enjoy multiple views of the lake from this clean and new cabin. We have brand new kitchen appliances and bathroom amenities to make your stay more comfortable. The living room is cozy with ample natural lighting. This cabin can sleep 4 guest comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Outside seating is available for you enjoy activities such as watching the sunrise while drinking coffee or making s'mores around the fire pit at night.
