Cabin has a private Hot Tub and features direct access to Wolf Run Lake in Towamensing Trails (300 ft away!). The cabin was recently renovated and offers brand-new appliances, amenities, and decor. The space Indoor: Los Lobos Lodge offers plenty of natural light with its expansive floor-to-ceiling A-frame glass windows allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. The A-Frame comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with a total of three large bedrooms and an additional private office. The first floor has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, the second floor offers a king bedroom and a private office with two single beds. Additionally, the two newly remodeled bathrooms offer soothing colors of the forest with a custom Bluetooth built-in music system to allow guests to relax to the sounds of their choice. The cabin offers dining and lounging spaces, both indoors & outdoors, for up to 8 people. The lodge was designed to have multiple work-from-home spaces and the fastest wifi in the area to accommodate today’s unique work-from-home culture. The Poconos are the perfect getaway very easily accessible from NYC and Philadelphia, being only around 2 hours away on route I-80. Guests receive access to Towamensing Trails’ private community amenities, including the lake, beach, seasonal pool, clubhouse, playground, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court, volleyball court and seasonal boat rentals. We also provide pickleball paddles and a basketball. Pool note: Children who are not fully potty trained may enjoy the children’s pool but, per community rules, are not permitted in the main pool. Community parking passes will be provided for registered vehicles, and reusable amenity lanyards will be waiting at the cabin for access to Towamensing Trails’ seasonal facilities. The community passes belong to the cabin and are difficult and costly to replace. Please keep them safe and return all lanyards before checkout. The community charges a **$100 replacement fee for each missing lanyard**. Guests must review and follow the Towamensing Trails Rules of Conduct. Second Floor Head upstairs to the main level, where you’ll find another living room with a large sectional couch, recliner, and 55” smart TV. This floor also features a full kitchen, dining room, a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, and access to a large deck and screened-in porch. Dine at the table for six or enjoy a meal outdoors on the propane grill (we provide the propane). Relax with a drink on the outdoor furniture or unwind on the spacious deck, perfect for soaking in the fresh air and quiet surroundings. The space Deer Lodge is a newly renovated home with a large master bedroom, and 3 additional roomy bedrooms over two floors of the house that comfortably sleeps 12. The kitchen, dining and living room areas are open and full of light and open up into spacious front and back yards. The kitchen has all new appliances including a full size refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, and provided coffee and tea for all guests. It's fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, condiments, spices, etc. for you to use during your stay. Sheets, blankets and towels All the beds have clean sheets and blankets. There are extra sheets and blankets in the in each of the rooms if you need them. There are plenty of towels provided for showering. Washer/Dryer Feel free to use the washer/dryer if you need to. This house is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by trees and nature. As a result, you may encounter wildlife, as this is their home and we are merely guests. Wildlife may include flying insects, spiders, ants, squirrels, flying squirrels, mice, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, turtles, coyotes, and black bears. Smaller creatures and insects can occasionally find their way inside depending on the outside conditions. We have monthly exterminator visits to minimize this, but being in the mountains, anything is possible. Additionally, please note that the mountain infrastructure differs from that of the city. Small wind or rain storms can occasionally cause power or internet outages in specific areas, including our home. Power outages may affect the water supply as we are on wells and the well pumps need power to work. Usually, these outages are restored within 8-10 hours, which is a quick turnaround given the weather conditions. For outages lasting less than 24 hours, no refund or compensation will be provided. For outages exceeding 24 hours, compensation will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Other things to note ◆◆◆Staying in the Pocono Mountains◆◆◆ If this is your first time visiting the Poconos, we want to ensure you understand what staying in the mountains entails. This house is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by trees and nature. As a result, you may encounter wildlife, as this is their home and we are merely guests. Wildlife may include flying insects, spiders, ants, squirrels, flying squirrels, mice, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, turtles, coyotes, and black bears. Smaller creatures and insects can occasionally find their way inside depending on the outside conditions. We have monthly exterminator visits to minimize this, but being in the mountains, anything is possible. Additionally, please note that the mountain infrastructure differs from that of the city. Small wind or rain storms can occasionally cause power or internet outages in specific areas, including our home. Power outages may affect the water supply as we are on wells and the well pumps need power to work. Usually, these outages are restored within 8-10 hours, which is a quick turnaround given the weather conditions. For outages lasting less than 24 hours, no refund or compensation will be provided. For outages exceeding 24 hours, compensation will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Lastly, please be aware that extreme heat or cold waves can put stress on the house's heating or cooling systems, and these systems may struggle to keep up during very high or very low temperatures. ◆◆◆Summer Bookings◆◆◆ During Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, this is our busiest season. Check-in time is at 5 PM, and early check-in is nearly impossible. If we can accommodate an early check-in, the earliest would be 3 PM. If you need to arrive earlier than 3 PM, we recommend booking the day before to ensure you can arrive any time on your desired day. ◆◆◆Winter Bookings◆◆◆ During winter months, it is highly recommended to have a vehicle with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4x4 capabilities due to potential heavy snowfall. ◆◆◆Supplies◆◆◆ We provide a starter pack of household essentials (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish detergent). If the property includes a dishwasher, washer, and dryer, we also provide cleaning agents for those. Guests staying for longer durations or with larger groups should bring additional supplies. Personal toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), q-tips, deodorants, or other personal care products are not provided. The house includes cooking ware (pots, pans, plates, utensils, baking dishes), but guests need to bring personal grocery items (seasonings, flour, sugar). ◆◆◆Community Information◆◆◆ We are located in a private gated community that requires a guest registration form for security and emergency purposes. The form will ask for full names and ages of each guest, as well as vehicle and driver information, including the main registrant's license ID number and the plate numbers of all vehicles entering the community. Unless your dog is a livestock guardian dog, it may become prey for bears or other wildlife. Clean Up After Your Dog: Please pick up after your dog when it goes potty. Other families, including those with small children, stay at our home and do not want to step in it. The space Bedroom 1 contains a queen bed, Bedroom 2 contains a queen bed, Bedroom 3 contains 2 Bunk beds with 4 twin beds and 1 pull out twin trundle. Living room has a sleeper sofa and there is also a blow up queen mattress at the home along with a pack n play for younger children. All beds have luxury sheets & bedding both sheets and quilts are cleaned and sanitized in between guests. Towels are included as well. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan. There are 2 Bathrooms. Basement amenities are subject to change. We are just a short drive to the Pocono raceway, Delaware water gap, Kalahari, Camelback, Big Boulder and lake harmony!
