It has a fresh open feel when you walk into the split entry home. If you’re looking for a night in, this is the perfect place. With a Smart TV in each room, and a private patio area with both a gas and wood burning fire pit in the backyard, this place has something for everyone. The space This brick bungalow is the perfect combination of historic charm with a modern touch. There are two bedrooms upstairs and three bedrooms in the basement, so there’s room for everyone. There is a staircase to get to the basement, so please be aware if you are someone experiencing mobility issues. The large upstairs bedroom has a king bed, the other 5 are queen sized mattresses. There is a large bedroom in the basement that contains two queen beds. It’s important to note that there is no divider or privacy shade in this bedroom, so it’s ideal for children or adults who don’t mind sharing a single space. Guest access Only the garage is off limits to guests. This is used for owner storage. Other things to note This property has both on and off street parking. Depending on how many vehicles you’re bringing along, you may need to utilize both. This is an older home, and the layout in the basement is a little funky as two of the bedrooms are located adjacent to the utility room that contains the HVAC and Water Heater. We love this place, but there have been a few guests who were taken aback by it, so it’s worth mentioning. This IS a pet friendly listing. Our cleaners are great people, hard working, detailed, and do everything they can to get every hair off of every surface after every guest (this property has a 72% occupancy rate, most travel with pets). With that being said, if you look hard enough, you will likely notice some pet hair somewhere. So, if that’s a problem, this likely won’t be a listing that will meet your expectations. The yard is great, but with massive mature trees and east Idaho wind, there may be some twigs or branches in the yard. We do our best to keep them at bay, but it’s a daily struggle so please be aware that there may be some debris in the yard and/or on the front step. The outdoor grill is fantastic, but we ask that every guest cleans the grill after use as this I something that falls outside of the scope of our cleaners responsibilities. If the grill is dirty, the previous guest must have dropped the ball despite this being part of our checkout instructions. There is a wire brush provided. Overall, this is a fantastic listing at an approachable price point, but we want people to be realistic when booking. It’s not the Hilton, but it is a darn nice house that we call home when we are in Pocatello. While guests enjoy exclusive privacy within the two main homes and their immediate yard areas, please note: On-Site Caretakers: To ensure our horses are well-tended, a professional caretaker sometimes resides on the property in a separate studio ("shouse") or horse trailer located at the very top of the driveway. Privacy: These staff quarters are situated away from the two guest homes to ensure your group’s privacy is never compromised. Equestrian Life: You may occasionally see staff feeding or grooming the horses in the corral areas. They are often accompanied by their Bernese Mountain Dog, who is always contained within the horse trailer or studio area and does not run freely. We kindly ask that guests enjoy the horses from a distance for safety. Quiet Hours & Neighborhood Respect 10:00 PM Quiet Time: Please respect our neighbors and the natural tranquility of the canyon. Outdoor noise must be kept to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Any neighborhood nuisance complaints or police dispatches will result in immediate eviction with no refund. 4. Fire Safety (Strictly Enforced) High Fire Hazard Zone: For the safety of the community and the property, no outdoor fires of any kind are permitted anywhere on the estate. This includes a strict ban on outdoor fire pits, open candles, fireworks, or charcoal grills. 5. Booking Requirements Primary Renter Age Restriction: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age and must be physically present on the property for the entire duration of the stay. 6. Smoking Policy Strictly Non-Smoking Estate: To preserve the pristine air and mountain environment, this is a completely non-smoking property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and cannabis anywhere inside the home or on the immediate property. A non-negotiable $500 fine will be charged immediately upon violation to cover professional deep cleaning and air purification. 7. Wildlife & Nature Awareness Local Ecology: You will be completely surrounded by nature, so residents must be comfortable with the local ecology. Because the property directly borders the National Forest, sightings of deer, hawks, turkeys, and other local wildlife are a natural part of the daily experience. Please be aware that you may also be exposed to mountain elements like bugs, mice, or outdoor animal droppings. 8. Pets & Check-Out Standards Unapproved Pets: Pets are only permitted if explicitly approved in writing prior to check-in and the pet fee has been settled. Unapproved pets brought onto the property will incur a $250 penalty fee per pet. Departure Protocol: To assist our cleaning team, please load and start the dishwasher, turn off all lights/heating units, leave linens on the bed, put used towels in the bathroom, and ensure all windows and doors are securely locked. The kitchen is stocked with casserole/serving glass dishes, a hand mixer and mixing bowls, pots and pans, cookie sheets, standard cutting boards and a large butcher block, knives, multiple pitchers, a toaster, wash cloths, Keurig coffee maker, oven mittens, basic cooking utensils, a XL crockpot, XL garbage can, plenty of silverware, plates, glasses and plastic cups for children. There are also 2 highchairs. There are 4 dining room tables which will seat 36 guests. There are additional children's tables as well as two, 6ft adult folding tables with chairs to seat 12-16 more. These are located in the dining room closet. Extra chairs can be found upstairs in the gym on a chair holder. The spacious family room seamlessly connects to the dining room and kitchen, creating an open and inviting living space. It's equipped with a generous collection of Vtech GO-GO Smart cars and tracks neatly stored within two large ottomans, perfect for entertaining younger children. The bookshelf is stocked with Usborne children's books, providing a variety of reading options. For added comfort, spare blankets are conveniently stored in the sideboard beneath the TV. In addition, you'll find a wide selection of board games on the shelves. *BATHROOMS, there are 2 public-style bathrooms with multiple stalls for toilets, urinals, and separate showers. We will provide towels for the convenience of your stay, along with toilet paper, and shower gel. The Men's Bathroom has 1 toilet, 2 urinals, 2 showers, and 2 sinks. The Women's Bathroom has 2 showers and changing stalls, 2 toilets, and a large 3 sink counter with lit mirrors. There's also a vanity in the basement landing. Keep in mind this building is 100 Years old so there are some limitations on what we could do for remodeling. But when used as a church for 300 members it had half this many toilets. The entire party likely will not all be able to shower in the morning for an early event. Plan to stagger showers with the group at different times. *LOCATION The church is located on a corner of the block in a residential neighborhood. Parking for guests is all street around the church and across the road. *ACCESS: Guests will receive a code where they can come and go freely. Anytime a guest leaves they are required to lock all doors, and windows. LAUNDRY: There are no laundry rooms available to guests, however, there is a nice laundromat across the street. CONCERNING PETS: dogs are allowed with a $200 fee per animal, MAX 2 per group. Service dogs stay free but you must provide us with its service number so it can be confirmed on the national service animal directory. Cats are not allowed. Another bedroom with two Twin beds and bathroom is upstairs (on the main floor). Down in the basement is two additional bedrooms; one with two twins and another with a queen bed. There’s a full bathroom Downstairs. We do not provide shampoo or body wash. Guest access Whole house to yourself! There is one unfinished bedroom in the basement that is locked. Wi-Fi, projector, and desk space is provided. The large back yard has a firepit to gather around and, when requested, a volleyball net can be set up. The kitchen is large and open and is well equipped. The home is 20 years old, isn't perfect, but has character. The space This home has seen five children grow up and leave home. It has useable space and plenty of room for the kids to play inside or outside. The the kids can settle down to watch a movie on the big screen downstairs while the adults play games upstairs. **Please note that guests are responsible to shovel any snow that accumulates during their stay. A shovel will be available. Guest access Guests can access all areas except where noted on the property. There's some items labeled "for personal use" that guests are not to use. The space Enjoy complete access to the entire property! There are three bedrooms furnished with queen beds, while another bedroom has a bunk bed with twin beds on each level. Additionally, the top floor features an open loft with a pullout couch available for your use. Recently renovated in 2022, this home has an updated feel despite being built in the 1990s. There are two bathrooms: one on the main level that connects to the living area and bedroom, and the other in the laundry room downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential items like pots, pans, salt, pepper, and oil, suitable for light cooking. However, please note that we only allow a maximum of ten guests and two dogs. While there is ample room for everyone, the dining table can only accommodate eight people, and the living room can seat a maximum of six. Despite being well laid out, the property is only 1,850 square feet, so please keep this in mind when booking to avoid feeling cramped Guest access You will have complete access to the property, with the exception of one closet designated as the owner's closet. The backyard boasts a patio and a spacious grassy area that your pets can enjoy. However, please note that there is no backyard fence to prevent your pets or children from running off. We are around the corner from Highland Highschool, 8 minutes to the hospital and ISU, 10 minutes to Old Town Pocatello, 30 minutes to Lava Hot Springs, and 25 minutes to Pebble Creek Ski area. Please note: there is a small 1 bedroom apartment in the basement that is currently occupied, and guests/tenants do not share access. Guest access The guests have access to the main area of the home. Off-limits areas: The big red barn/shed on the far side of the yard and the blocked-off area in the basement are our private storage and are not accessible to guests. Whether you’re remote-working or streaming a family movie night, the internet is fast and stable throughout the house. A small work desk is available in the basement bedroom, and there are plenty of outlets for all your devices. Parking: The driveway and carport can easily accommodate 2–3 vehicles. In winter months, we shovel the drive regularly. There’s space if you need to park an RV or trailer for your toys – just let us know in advance so we can make arrangements. Winter Comforts: Winter in Idaho is magical here! We stock the living room with cozy blankets and a selection of board games for those nights when you want to snuggle up by the heater and enjoy family time. We also provide a baby gate to help keep little ones safe (especially helpful if you have a toddler exploring the space). The home is well-heated and insulated – you’ll stay warm even on those snowy nights. Summer Fun: In the shed under the carport, you’ll find our Nerf axe-and-star throwing set and a corn hole game (bean bag toss). These foam Nerf toys are a blast for kids and grown-ups – challenge each other to a friendly target competition on the lawn! We also have lawn chairs and a picnic blanket so you can relax outside. Please return all games, chairs, and blanket to the shed so they don’t get lost or damaged by the weather. Summers are generally pleasant, but we provide central AC and a couple of fans for extra airflow on the hottest days. Fire Pit: Our fire pit is located in the yard, with chairs for seating provided in the guest toy shed. It’s the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows, telling campfire stories, and stargazing under the starry skies. We keep a stack of firewood nearby for your convenience (help yourself). SAFETY FIRST: Please keep fires SMALL and manageable, and fully extinguish the flames before you call it a night. Fruit Picking: When our fruit trees and bushes are in season (typically late June through September for various fruits), you’re welcome to pick and enjoy any of the apricots, raspberries, currants, strawberries, or cherries growing around the property. Nothing beats a sun-warmed strawberry plucked straight from the garden! We just ask that you take only what you’ll eat during your stay – make sure there’s plenty for the next guests to enjoy, too. If you’re unsure what’s ripe, give us a shout – we’ll be happy to let you know. This fruit-picking experience is a highlight for many of our guests, so definitely take advantage and taste what’s in season!

Guest access Car is the best mode of transportation to get around Pocatello. The biking, hiking, or dirt bike trails are right out side the front door. You will have access to the garage to store these items should you bring them. Other things to note Absolutely no events allowed.
