Two screened-in porches to enjoy the outdoors, a fire-pit with Adirondack chairs, and a private dock to enjoy the scenic views. Welcome to Ivey Creek Cottage! Guest access Guests can access the entire home except for any locked storage closets. Guests can also access the private dock, which is perfect for a glass of wine at sunset! Other things to note Two kayaks are available for guest use (at guest’s risk). Outdoor firepit available for use. Sorry, no pets allowed. Not suitable for children. There is a TV available with Apple TV, Netflix, etc., but no cable options. High-speed Wi-Fi internet is available. The river is brackish, meaning some salt water exists. There may be jellyfish and other marine life present in the water depending on the time of year. Do not park or drive on the grass. Absolutely no parties or large gatherings. Guests should not exceed the total listed in your reservation (6 guests maximum) The upstairs en-suite is accessed through a separate outdoor entrance utilizing the stairs. Guests can purchase small bundles of firewood in town.

Check out Belle Isle state park for hiking, bird watching and paddle board rentals. The cottage is decorated by a professional stager, one of the features that guests enjoy the most. The screened in porch is quite relaxing! The space There is kayaking opportunities and a pier to enjoy the breezes and sunset. Other things to note There’s a dock with ladder and boat ramp on the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy the dock for fishing , swimming or just relaxing in a chair. River Ranch Cottage

Indulge in the allure of our newly remodeled river house, situated along the Morattico Creek near the mouth of the Rappahannock River. This exclusive waterfront property provides a private haven for serene moments. Unwind on the private dock, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. This is more than a getaway; it’s an unforgettable waterfront escape. The space 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, with a large kitchen and river room. Guest access All of the house, yard and dock are accessible. Owner closet, shed, and a small compartment in the freezer are private to the owner. Other things to note Dock has a 10,000 lb boat lift and is just around the corner from a public boat ramp for guests who would like to bring a boat. This is very remote; it is about a 20 minute drive to the nearest stores in Warsaw. Please bring everything you need. Please park along the gravel drive. Do not park in the grass in front of the walkway as that is where our septic drain field is. Morattico Creek is brackish and tidal in this area. On hot days in the summer, nettles may be present, so watch out when swimming. The dock ladder can get slippery, so be careful when climbing in and out. If you use the stove top, be sure to turn on the ventilation fan on the microwave or the smoke alarm will go off.

Welcome to Rivah Dog Cottage. We pride ourselves in being dog friendly. Located in a peaceful cove just off the Rappahannock River, nature abounds with eagles and herons. Fish off the dock, drop the crab trap in, or just sit and take in the surroundings. Bring your boat or jet ski and ride up to the main river close by. Kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and floats are provided. Newly renovated kitchen. Infinity game table, plenty of board games, Peloton, and Strong Wifi! Fenced yard! The space We have lovingly renovated the property over the last year; our family and friends have enjoyed it during this time, and we are happy to share it with you! The property features three bedrooms and has an awesome open feeling with the windows open on the back porch! Let the pups run around in the yard while you enjoy the sunset or sunrise! If it rains, enjoy the amenities inside on the game table or read a book on the swing. The creek leads out to the main Rappahannock River and nearby towns and amenities on the water. We have many features for dogs on site; extra leash, large dog crate, pet bowls, dog beds, extra leashes and even a pet first aid kit! The backyard is fully fenced and is ideal for medium and large dogs. Because of the spacing in some sections, very small dogs (and determined escape artists) may be able to fit through or under portions of the fence and should always be supervised outdoors. Three bedrooms; queen bed in master; twin and double in the second bedroom and bunk bed in third bedroom. Newly added - firepit with swings! Note we open the calendar about six months in advance; if you want something further out, feel free to message us We have a stack of wood for the outside fireplace; please do not use in inside fireplace (store bought firelogs only) Please note that many restaurants, shops, and museums in the Northern Neck are closed on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, particularly outside peak season. We recommend checking hours in advance if traveling early in the week. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the outside shed and one small owner's closet. Other things to note Feel free to use any of our river toys; some are in the dock storage box. Fencing has two gates (note: very small dogs may fit between the railings, so be careful). Large dog crate (kept folded under bed, will need to be assembled). Some fishing poles and life jackets at dock (bait available at nearby store-see host guide). Sorry, no loud parties or gatherings; we are limited to six occupants per code. For insurance reasons we can't allow use of the boat or jet ski (but feel free to use the dock to tie yours up!) Property is rural and quiet; please respect quiet time at night for our neighbor's sake! We just added the outside firepit and swing; we do not supply wood though if there are some firelogs around you can use. Otherwise most major stores sell firelogs and/or wood bundles. Our property is one level; if you have accessibility issues please note we are not built to ADA standards; the tub entrance is a little high.

Locally, Urbanna is a 15 minute trip and Irvington and Kilmarnock are just over the bridge if you want to dine out, shop or just enjoy a quaint waterfront town. The Tides Inn is another popular stop for fine dining or enjoy their patio menu while sitting next to a fire pit enjoying the music and scenery of the creek. Nestled in the charming and historic Village of Morattico, Heart Pine Cottage is a cozy, waterfront home with amazing views and privacy. The property sits on a peninsula where you can enjoy the large lawn, small private beach, private dock, waterfront picnic table, hammock, fire pit, shaded patio and screened in porch. There are four bedrooms and two fully renovated bathrooms in the cottage. The two downstairs bedrooms, a queen bedroom and a trundle bedroom, are connected by double doors and can used as a suite (perfect for a family) or closed off as individual rooms. The two upstairs bedrooms, a queen bedroom and a king bedroom, offer beautiful river views. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles within the fenced property. Bring your boat! The dock has two slips that can accommodate small boats, skiffs or jet skis. There is a boat ramp about 10 minutes away from the cottage (there is not a lift at our dock). Enjoy breakfast with a view in the sun room, a friendly game of cards or checkers in the entertainment room or curled up with a book in the formal but inviting front living room. The newly screened in porch has a dining table for four and a full lounge and chair, perfect for enjoying the afternoon breeze after a dip in the river. The cottage is a nature lovers haven. Enjoy watching the osprey and bald eagles from the dock. Relax around the waterfront fire pit. Pack your fishing poles and crab lines or collect oyster shells and sea glass on the beach. There are two single kayaks and two stand up paddle boards available for guests to use. And Belle Isle State Park is a short 10-minute drive and has a wonderful nature center and trails to explore. Situated in the tiny but charming and historic village of Morattico, guests can walk the quiet waterfront street to the Morattico Waterfront Museum to learn about the history of this small crabbing and oystering community. Pack your bikes, it’s a lovely way to explore, although most of the residents choose golf carts as their way of getting around. Virginia’s River Realm is wonderful and worth exploring. History buffs, antiquers, foodies — there is something for everyone in the nearby towns of of Kilmarnock, Irvington and White Stone (all about 25-30 minutes from the cottage). Check out our guidebook for some of our favorite places to eat, drink, shop and visit. Consider packing any groceries needed, before arriving for check in. The closest grocery stores and restaurants are about 20+ minutes away and once you arrive at the cottage, you may not want to leave.
