If you’re not from snow country, please be advised that when it snows, everyone wants to be first on the snow plow’s list to be cleared, but it is not up to us when the snow plow arrives - he has lots of clients, so you will need to be patient and plan for possibly being unable to leave at your convenience. In other words: Watch the snow forecast and plan ahead for groceries and checkout. Snow shovels are provided for you to shovel the sidewalk (approx. 20 feet), the area by the gate, and the concrete parking pad in front of the garage (or move your vehicles so the snow plow can clear the parking pad). Snow is a standard part of Winter in North Idaho. If you're unable/unwilling to shovel snow, then please don't book our property during Winter months, as we are unable to shovel the sidewalk for you during your stay, and it's imperative that you shovel to keep it clear for you and for guests arriving after you. If the snow is not shoveled, it turns to ice and becomes impossible to clear. Thank you. Guest access You'll have the entire property to yourself. We have maintenance personnel who may access the property for things like grass cutting, snow plow of driveway, repairs, etc. Parking for 5 vehicles maximum, including any visitors you may have. This limit is based on neighborhood restrictions, not parking spaces. Other things to note WINTER GUESTS: Snow shovels provided for you to shovel porch & sidewalk, the area by the gate, and concrete parking pad in front of garage. This is necessary to prevent ice from forming. We hire a snow plow to clear the driving portion of the driveway after 4" of snow, and they will clear the concrete parking pad if you move your vehicles. If you are not able to move your vehicles, you'll need to shovel the concrete pad to keep it free of snow/ice. Please note: We can get up to 4 feet of snow during snow season, so clearing snow after/during every snow event is very important so it doesn't build up with ice and make access impossible for guests who arrive after you. We understand many of our guests are not from "snow country" so you may not recognize how important it is to keep the snow clear. Involve the kids -- kids love helping to clear snow, and we have a kid-sized snow shovel so they can join the fun.

Each bedroom has a queen bed, & the living room has a sectional sofa, plus a dining table and 6 chairs. Just minutes from the majestic Kootenai River! The space Step into this lovely home with vaulted, tongue-and-groove wood ceilings. A comfortable sofa sectional to lounge in while watching movies on the big flat screen TV. Full kitchen with all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and small appliances you may need. Dining room table accommodates 4 - 6 people. Bathrooms have towels, soaps, rugs, and hair dryer. All bedding is clean and ready, and we also have an iron and ironing board in the laundry room, where the washer and dryer is available for your use as well! Often you can see wildlife hanging out along the side of the river. We've experienced this trip twice, and we would happily do it again. Mountain Mafia is just 20 minutes from the Living Well Lodge Home of Mountain Havoc & Havoc Style Racing high-energy off-road events. With some of the highest quality open wheeling in the Northwest, spacious camping spots, and world-class, hardcore racing, we offer the ultimate experience for adrenaline enthusiasts. I have multiple BBQs available: Propane 'Gas', charcoal, or a compact "Table top Traeger" available for your use. Please let me know if you have a service dog. We want them to be comfortable as well, however some future guests maybe allergic to "pet dander" therefore minimal exposure the better! Clean up after your dog even if it's off the beaten path.

Sweet Ranch Bunkhouse

Our family lives full time in the home on the property and the 5th Wheel RV is located in a private area just off of Northriver Dr., sheltered by trees and foliage. Guests will enjoy beautiful river views and can hear the water flowing downstream and the birds chirping in the trees. RV has 3 flat screen TVs, 2 upgraded mattresses. Full over Full bunk bed with 1/2 bath in 2nd bedroom and king bed in master. The space Master/Main bedroom has brand new upgraded Casper mattress. The room has a flatscreen new LG smart TV, two closet areas, two drawers and a desk area. A bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is right outside the door. There are three screened windows in this bedroom, all of which can open for airflow and which have privacy shades as well. The living area has a large pantry, full kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, 3 burner gas stovetop, oven, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. The living room has a large sofa that seats 5 and 4 of the seats are recliners. There is a flatscreen TV and gas fireplace. There are two folding tables that can be pulled from the closet and set out by the sofa for dining. Guests can also dine outdoors on the new picnic table with expandable shade umbrella. In the back end of the RV is a 2nd bedroom with a Full over Full bunk bed. The bottom bunk has a brand new Simmons upgraded mattress and can sleep two. The top bunk has a futon type mattress and can comfortably sleep two children or one adult. (Top bunk not to exceed 300 lbs). There is an adjoining 1/2 bath with toilet and sink. A second entry door leads out from the bathroom for ease of bathroom / rear bedroom access from outside. Guest access Guests can access the camping area surrounding the RV and can also venture further down the hill towards the river and can use the old boat ramp to get to the river for fishing or boating. (Kayaks and canoes not provided. Kayaks can be rented at Far North Outfitters in town.) Other things to note You can fish from the property with an Idaho fishing license. Outdoor uncovered parking is available right next to the RV for two vehicles. This property is near the railroad bridge that crosses the Kootenai and you will hear trains on occasion as they cross the river. Trains are loud, of course, but pass relatively quickly. There is no set schedule and so they pass at random times. Otherwise, this is a quiet and idyllic location where you can see bald eagles, Canadian Geese and hear other birds and small wildlife. Guests staying a month or longer are responsible for refilling the propane tanks and the cost of the refills.

Stroll through our 15 acre woods, ride e-bikes or mountain bikes or visit a lake or waterfall nearby. You'll love beautiful North Idaho! The space The tent has a three burner propane camp stove with two cast iron pans and one griddle. Basic cooking utensils, oil, salt and pepper and garlic and herb seasoning are provided for any steaks you want to purchase from our on-site farm store. Paper plates, cups and plastic ware are also provided. A picnic table and wood is provided for relaxing at meal time or around the fire. A light is provided in the tent along with a string of porch lights so you can enjoy the ambiance of this cozy tent in the woods. Guest access Guests are encouraged to enjoy the woods and also the animals. Please be respectful and safe as the animals are enjoyable but also unpredictable. You can check out what it’s like to milk a cow, gather eggs or feed the pigs. Let us know if any of these activities sounds exciting to you. A small vintage log cabin nestled beside large grove of pines, a western feel but modern comfort. Very cool in summer and warm in winter w/ thick logs for insulation. On owners property, shared road, separate part of property. Large secure, chain link dog kennel by cabin. Hi speed WiFi; new TCL - 32" Class 3-Series Full HD LED, Roku The space Dog/pet fee is $25/stay per pet. The cabin is on our 7 acres, share a road in, privacy fence & pine woods between the two. The small log cabin brings out a feel of the West we read about in history, with touches of local history in old photos throughout the cabin. Plenty of hot water, Hi-Flame efficient wood stove (wood supplied) or a infrared electric heater. Cabin stays warm in winter and cool in summer because of the thickness of the logs. Comfortable Englander queen bed and just as comfortable twin, all linens and bedding supplied as well as paper products. Kitchen is a compact 1/2 kitchen, many means of cooking food( Nu Wave burner, toaster oven, microwave, out door pit in season) All dishes, pans, mixing bowls cutlery, linens needed for prep and enjoying the meals. Refrigerator w/separate top freezer. Since we live on the Earth and there are critters out there that want to share the indoor space, we take precautions to control the insects and rodents (have never had a rodent yet in cabin but a few ants have made it in) we use an organic product ( will not hurt pets or humans, but takes care of the insects) the product is around the bottom edge of cabin. Will not harm pets. PLEASE do not leave pets alone in cabin, either have in crate ( we have very large one and smaller) There is an outdoor kennel if you dog does not dig. Talk to us and introduce your animal to ours, everyone gets along better that way. We live on same property. Guest access Guest have access to the world of nature, many lakes, trails, streams, views and mountains to climb! Feel free to walk around property. Sharon's Country Store and bakery is about 1/4 south of property with many assorted coffees, teas, as well as breakfast burritos, other breakfast, lunch items and homemade bread (all flour used is non GMO) for their sandwiches, try their Full Nelson sandwich. Huge!!! Our area has a diverse selection of restaurants, a local Brewery has a great view of the river and mountains as well good brew! A well maintained. 8 hole golf course, wildlife refuge and center, (5 mile drive through the wet lands) home to many species of wildlife and stopping place for migratory birds. It is a joy in the fall to watch the flight training of the Canada Geese for the long haul ahead, they practice up and down the rivers honking encouragement to each other. Other things to note Please drive slow in and out, we have turtles and garden snakes that sun on drive. If notice either please avoid or maybe, move them out of danger. There are active bee hives on opposite end of property from cabin. Please do not approach, they are not close enough to the drive to bother a person on road.

This Forested retreat is scenic and beautiful. You will love the quiet serenity and vista views. You can spend relaxing time with friends and family in the Pagoda as you watch the stars. Air-conditioned and relaxing is what you will find here. The space This is a 2 bedroom, kitchenette, living room with a sofa sleeper, rocker recliner and tall table with 4 bar stools. There are 2 nice sized decks. 1 off the main bedroom and 1 off the living room. there is a fire pit and a glider. There are cabinets stocked with pots, pans and canned foods and snacks and much more. There is a mid sized fridge with plenty of room with a freezer. Of course there is a coffee pot and coffee and creamers. There is tea and hot chocolate. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and a full bed in the other bedroom. There is a bathroom with a full size shower. The steps leading up to the apartment have a beautiful waterfall scene cascading down the steps. There is a 40" smart T.V. that has many functions. There are bear decorations throughout the house. It is very comfortable and a nice place to relax. Come hibernate in Northern Idaho. On hot summer days we have fans in bedrooms and dining/kitchen areas. Guest access The entire second floor is separate and private with its own entrance. We ask guests to remove there shoes at the landing to help us maintain the new look and clean comfort of the floors and carpets in the accommodations. We are a quarter of a mile from downtown Bonners Ferry, meaning walking distance to Breakfast, lunch, dinner, casino, beautiful views and friendly people! We are 45 minutes to the village of Schweitzer and a great stopping point before Canada. Super clean and love to share our hand crafted tiny guest home! The Outhouse is located on property. We as hosts are next door in the main house, so if you need anything we are avilable! We happily accommodate late listings and last minute bookings. The space PLEASE READ LISTING CAREFULLY!! The Outhouse is an old barn that has been converted so small areas of improvement are visible but give it the charm. There is a small microwave and refrigerator available along with coffee maker. *NOT A FULL KITCHEN. The Outhouse does have a small window until for air conditioning. We have one Queen Size bed in the Outhouse and a couch. It is not a pull out couch but is comfortable. We also keep a queen size air mattreess in the cabin. Please let us know upon booking if you will need to use it. We offer a pack and play as well. *WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS ON THE PROPERTY. *THE NEIGHBORS HAVE CHICKENS, WHICH MEANS A ROOSTER CROWS! *THERE IS PARKING FOR ONE VEHICHLE. YOU CAN BRING TWO BUT WILL HAVE TO PARK IT ABOUT A BLOCK AWAY. *Please respect our home. This is a private residence and not a hotel so do not treat our things as such! The space Bear cabin (king bed) is one of two Cabins on this shared Property, with an additional cabin (Deer cabin, queen bed) that also sleeps 4. These are studio units with a full bathroom that includes a shower/tub combo. There is also a full kitchen with a coffee maker, coffee & creamer, toaster and a microwave/convection/air fryer combo as well as an induction stovetop. We also have Starlink for wifi. Our ranch is located across the road from 80 acres of state land where you can enjoy hiking with some great views of the Kootenai river. Guest access The cabins have their own entrance from Turner Hill RD and each cabin has it's own parking spot. Additional parking is available when you first pull in on your right (on the grass). IMPORTANT: We are located on an operating ranch/farm and yes, there's still people working (especially in the summer). The bar island is where you can gather with 3 barstools and a dining table with 4 chairs to enjoy your meals together inside. The kitchen, dining, and living room are open concept with vaulted tongue and groove ceiling with a sleeping loft. In the loft you will find 2 XL twin beds and one queen bed. There are toys, games, puzzles, Roku HD TV, DVD player, and DVD’s to keep you and your family entertained and comfortable. In the living room you can cozy up by the freestanding gas fireplace, watch TV on our 50" Roku HD TV offering Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or watch the river flow by through the expansive windows. All flooring is hard surface with radiant floor heat. Our riverfront patio offers a sectional couch around a gas fireplace table and several others comfortable chairs. If you prefer to cook and dine outside we have a lighted BBQ pavilion offering a gas grill, griddle, 2 burner cook stove and side tables/bar to serve food or sit on the barstools at the bar and enjoy a drink or meal while enjoying the scenery.
