Our two combined homes are an adorable renovated craftsman on the East side of Chattanooga. Each homes is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home sleeps up to 24 total and brings together vintage and modern elements to make you feel right at home! You're a 5 min drive to Overlook park, 10 mins to the Chattanooga Zoo and downtown attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium, Bluff View Art District, Chattanooga Lookout Stadium and endless shopping and dining experiences. We would love to host you in our home! The space For both homes, you'll enter the home through the front door with a code that will be provided to you at check-in. The living room will welcome you into the home. Here, you'll find two sleeper sofas and a 50"Roku tv! Past the living room is the full kitchen and dining table with bench seating. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are found via the hallway off the kitchen. The first bedroom is the master bedroom with a king in one home and a queen in the other home, and ensuite bathroom! The second bedroom has two full beds in one home and a queen and a full in the other home, and there is a queen bed in the last bedroom. The second shared bathroom is in the hallway. There is a washer and dryer near the kitchen. Don't forget to checkout the open backyard with a charcoal grill and picnic table! Guest access The homes have a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home. Other things to note To provide guests with additional sense of security, we have also installed a ring security system, along with a digital door lock. This allows for remote entry and a sense of privacy and security. We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book. If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment. We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. The May Family Home is part of Wauhatchie Woodlands, a collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. The property is owned and operated by Timberroot, a small, family-owned business that specializes in creating rustic spaces that allow you to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Once the personal home of Frank, Nicole, and their children, the May Family Home is the largest and most well-equipped accommodation offered at Wauhatchie Woodlands. This vacation dream home is flanked by National Park land and dense forest, with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. The kitchen is open to dining, a dining bar, a living room with a wood burning fireplace, and directly adjacent to the massive stunning sunroom with vaulted ceilings. You will love the real wood craftsmanship, contrast in stains and colors, and a combination of rustic and contemporary style. The sunroom exits to a spacious back deck with a swinging bed, outdoor dining, and direct access to the private 14′ swim spa. On the same living level, there is a beautiful bathroom shared by a queen bedroom and the kid’s room with a lofted queen bed and built-in slide. The slide room sleeps two small people up top and has a single bed below. Across the hall is a beautiful queen bedroom larger than many master bedrooms and a stunning newly renovated bathroom. This large queen room has a TV, a small work desk, and seating for TV watching out of bed. Down the hall are the two massive loft rooms. The river-facing loft room has a private deck, picture windows, separate shower & toilet rooms, a closet, and a spacious TV den. Up in the loft are two full/twin bunks that can sleep up to six. The back loft room features two lofted full beds over a king. Also on this level are a sofa, separate shower & toilet rooms, and closet. Upstairs is the workspace with two desks and a daybed with Smart TV. Downstairs is the massive main suite with a luxurious king bed, modern armoires, a wood-burning stove, and the media area with a large sectional sofa and a 65″ curved TV. The main suite also has a large bathroom with two vanities, a walk-in shower, a deep bathing tub, and a small cedar sauna. Also on the lower living level is the fully loaded game room with a full-size pool table, ping pon top, foosball, air hockey, Smart TV, and a comfy sofa. The space also included a small fridge and freezer to keep your drinks cold while you play. Just off the game room is the laundry room with your private washer/dryer. The May Family Home is in a compound with two other homes, the Blue House and Skyuka Chalet. The homes share a stunning, heated resort-style pool with an expansive flagstone patio. On the patio, you'll find lounge seating, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen with a covered dining pavilion (guests must provide their own propane and firewood). Please note that the pool is closed during winter, typically from October to March. Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. The ground floor of the Chalet serves as the poolhouse for all three properties. Guests have access to the workout room, poolside showers, and toilets. The May Family Home is more than just a house; it's a true forested resort just a tiny hop from downtown Chattanooga. Pack' n Play Travel cribs are available upon request. Sprout General Store recently opened on the Wauhatchie Woodlands grounds. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay. By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances. The Primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower on the main level. A second bedroom/den with a queen bed and daybed (2 twins) is also on the main level next to another full bath with a walk-in shower, and is equipped with a mini-split heating & cooling unit. The lower level also has the kitchen, dining and main living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, and spices. A spiral staircase leads you upstairs to two additional bedrooms and a gallery overlooking the living area. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two queens with a recently installed large Smart TV. Both bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is a futon in the gallery for additional sleeping. Guests have access to the entire property, excluding the garage and storage shed. We do share a driveway with our next-door neighbor, so we ask that the driveway never be blocked. There is plenty of parking around the house. There is a private full bath in the master bedroom and a half bath in a spacious guest room! The upstairs is peaceful and relaxing and has a nice sitting area for quiet time. The living room is large, comfortable, and bright, making it the perfect space to congregate and hang out. The rooftop deck is a great place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or just get some fresh air. On the first floor is a queen bedroom decorated in a chic Art Deco style with its own private full bathroom. The master bedroom on the 3rd floor has 2 queen beds, and the guest bedroom on the same floor has another queen bed. On the top floor is a fourth room with a full bed. You can not come and go on the same ticket. You will have to purchase a new ticket every time you enter. KEYPAD: Please do not use the keypad on the building to try and open the door. Only use the keypad lock located on the front door itself. STAIRS & LAYOUT: The front door opens to an entry way and then a set of stairs that takes you to the second floor. The main level with the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and one master bedroom are on the main level. The second level has bedroom one and two with queen beds in them shared by a jack and jill bathroom. Bedroom four is a second master with a king bed, ensuite and a loft that has another full bed up top. There is enough space in this room for a blow up mattress as well. There is a stackable washer and dryer on this floor as well. KITCHEN: We have a fully equipped kitchen. We provide Keurig coffee pods, creamer, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper. The oven has a small steamer side on the left which is turned off, but the regular oven is functioning. TRASH: The trash goes in the garbage bin that sits in the alley. LEFT ITEMS: We are not responsible for any items left behind and will not be able to mail them back to you. Please be sure to look around for all personal belongings before your departure.

Easy access to downtown from this large 3,000 sq ft Urban area home. Within 2.9 miles to UTC, 5 miles to Hamilton place and 3.2 miles to airport. Pets are welcome & I provide a 4 ft crate. Upstairs has 3 bdrms, 1 1/2 baths, open concept liv/din, kitchen, office, and laundry. Downstairs has 2 bdrms, 1 bth, kitchen, laundry, lv rm, pool table, foosball, arcade game, & reclining theatre chairs. SEPARATE FLOORS THAT DO NOT HAVE INTERIOR STAIRS. Oversized deck w fenced back yard & 🔥 pit. The space All rooms are very spacious. Each guest will have a comfortable bed, not a couch or blow up mattress. The beds have high end mattresses and each mattress has a waterproof covering. Baths are stocked with plush towels and washcloths. Home is great for multiple families wanting to vacation together but having their own separate spaces. Roku tvs in each bedroom and living spaces. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room. Go to roku channels from main screen and hundreds of channels are available or use an app. I have a plug in air freshener in each unit. If you are sensitive to these products let me know and I can unplug them before your arrival. Guest access There is room for 3 cars on paved side and at least 2 cars on gravel side plus a single car garage. Please do not park on the street out of respect for the neighbors. Other things to note Guests will have free access to T2 Fitness gym less than 5 miles away, compliments of the homeowner, during their stay, except Sundays.
