We are only 4 houses from one of the quietest beaches in the area and only a 5 minute drive to Pacific City. Local activities include hiking, kayaking, surfing, and dune buggies at Sand Lake. Easy day trips to Tillamook or Lincoln City also make this an excellent home base for all of your adventures. The space WIth one bedroom and a loft with 2 twin beds, this space is designed for couples and families. The county has restricted our permit to 2 adults and 2 children. Our kitchen comes with all common dishes and utensils for making meals at home. And our full-sized shower and full-sized washer and dryer will ensure you can recover from any sandy adventure you may choose. This modern furnished beach cottage (2BR, 1 BA) is the perfect spot if you are looking for walks on white sandy beaches or a quiet time after a day in the waves. The busy surf village of Pacific City with it’s stunning view of Cape Kiwanda is just a 5 minute car ride away. The house itself is located in the small village of Tierra Del Mar on a dead end street that ends at the beach. Eat on the front porch in the sunshine and enjoy the hot tub and outdoor shower in the backyard to end the day. The space The cottage has a modern Scandinavian design touch with a well appointed kitchen with high-end dishware, gas grill, microwave, blender, and more. Gas stove inside, fire pit in the front yard. Hot tub on a deck in the backyard after a long day on the beach. Our local beach is gorgeous and quiet. We sit in a small community of homes along the beach, between the two capes, Lookout and Kiwanda. Access to the beach is now from the trail at the end of the lane next to ours. Dogs welcome now! Let me know if you are bringing your pup! The cottage is bordered by the Sitka Sedge State Natural Area providing ultimate privacy, pine forests and walking trails to the estuary. Designed for one or two couples, or a small family, there are two bedrooms with a queen bed in each. The back bedroom has a half bath and french door opening to the wrap around deck and to nature. Two fold out single beds are tucked into the sectional couch in the living room. Bedrooms are cozy with a cool vibe and have brand new mattresses for a good night's rest. This is a simple house to find what you need with it's open floor plan and light and bright space. The floors throughout the cottage are travertine tile with radiant heat, so you can run around with bare feet in the winter, but stay cool in the summer! With the three sets of oversized french doors in the main space open to the deck, birdsong floats over the sounds of the waves. The beach access is from the next street over, Pollack, with an easement just at the end of the lane and now with access to the improved estuary trails through a sandy pine forest. The kitchen has been designed for cooking! We've put a large butcher block island in the center for prep and conversation as we know we all end up mingling there-you will find a good set of knives, pots and pans and odds and ends in the generous pantry to put together a meal. You will also find a Kitchen Aid mixer to please the baker, and plenty of tools to boot. The field next door often hosts the neighborhood elk, or deer. They seem to come early in the morning and are often grazing quietly while we are out on the deck with our tea and coffee. Also in abundance are the doves, hawks, bald eagles and blue herons. The local bunnies are seen in abundance as well, keeping one eye up in the sky and the other on the grass. Enjoy your time here!!! Guests have the whole house to themselves. Hosts live in Portland. You can access their trails from our neighborhood and wander through the pine forests to the estuary. Cycle the Three Capes circuit, surf in Pacific City, and kayak through Sand Lake estuary. Whale watching with volunteer guides is common up at Cape Lookout and up from the ridge south of Tierra Del Mar on the way to Pacific City (3 miles away.) Tierra Del Mar is a quiet neighborhood close to Pacific City to the south for shopping, groceries and an award winning brewhouse. There are rental outfits for surfing, kayaking or fishing there as well. To the north along the Three Capes scenic drive, you can head to the tidal estuary at Sitka Sedge Natural Area for a walk or kayaking trip. Continue on to Cape Lookout for a 2 mile hike to view the whale migrations in the spring and fall, and on towards more fun on Netarts Bay, home of Jacobsen Salt Co. Further along northward is the quaint town of Oceanside at Cape Meares. For cyclists, this is a terrific ride as Hwy. 101 is inland of the coast along this stretch and the road is less travelled, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. This cottage is our favorite family destination and we come stay as often as we can! We think it is the perfect place to enjoy one of the most picturesque and magical places on the Oregon Coast. Come stay, unplug (NO CELL SERVICE) and enjoy! The space Beautiful beach cottage with room for up to six humans and one dog. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful coastal vacation on an incredibly beautiful stretch of sandy beach. The Blue Dolphin has a cool 1960's vibe with several mid-century touches. It has new wood flooring throughout, new kitchen, and expanded living area. It has two cozy bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a tub. PLEASE NOTE THAT CELL IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE HOUSE. We do have wi/fi now :). The first bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has twin extra long bunk beds, and a second queen bed. All mattress are from Parklane in Portland, are latex, and are super comfy! There is an awesome flat screen TV in the living area with 2 couches and a comfy recliner. There is new bathroom with shower, and an awesome original bathroom with mint green tub, toilet, and sink. There's a dining table with seating for 6, and a island with 2 barstools. The kitchen is open, bright, and includes a dishwasher! The main living area is heated by a beautiful propane fireplace. The bedrooms have thermostat controlled electric heat. There is also a fire pit outside, and plenty of alternate heat inside. There is a nice DVD collection, a sound bar that will connect to downloaded music you bring, and lots of games, books, and even a drawer full of children's toys. Enjoy the absence of wi-fi or cell phone reception, both which can be accessed down on the beach, or in Pacific City. The cottage is located in a small community called Tierra Del Mar, which is located just 3 miles north of Pacific City. Tierra Del Mar is a very quiet spot, and the house does not have cell phone reception or cable. It is less than a half a block to a gorgeous sandy beach where you can have a bonfire, collect shells, and take your dog for a long walk. The house has a lovely deck with seating and a charcoal BBQ, so bring some charcoal and enjoy! From the beach, you will see Cape Kiwanda to your left and Cape Lookout to your right. Just a few miles south is Pacific City which is home of the Dory Fishing Boats, the Pelican Pub & Brewery, and some of the best surf along the Oregon Coast. There are several great restaurants, a public swimming pool, art galleries and shops, horseback riding, and the beautiful Nestucca River that runs right through town. It's a little piece of paradise! Fire and Fire Pits: Open flames are not allowed in the Village other than propane grills, which should be moved away from any structure when in use. Easy Beach Access-Family Friendly Home-Beach Break

The Kiwanda House is located in peaceful Tierra Del Mar, a small community with access to a gorgeous, low bank, white sandy beach stretching 8 miles. At one end is Cape Kiwanda of Pacific City, home of the Dory Fleet, Haystack Rock, great restaurants, art galleries, and even surfing. The other end is a quiet and serene estuary excellent for crabbing, clamming, bird watching, and ATV riding at sand lake just around the corner. Wi-Fi and cable TV for those rainy days. The space You’ll enjoy the one minute walk to the beach that has hardly anybody on it compared to other beaches in the area. If you want to do a little more people watching, surfing, swimming, or eating Pelican Pub, Headlands resort and spa, and Cape Kiwanda are a 3-5 minute drive from our house. Sandlake the off-road riding area is located approximately 3 miles to the north. Lincoln City’s outlet mall is approximately a 25 minute drive from the house, you can shop, eat, and enjoy the beach there as well. Other things to note The local bunnies are extremely friendly and will likely eat vegetables right out of your hands. This lovely recently updated cottage is about a half block from beautiful Tierra del Mar beach. It has air conditioning, a washer/dryer and is dog friendly. Pacific City (surfers) is approx. 6 minutes away, and the shopping outlets are about 25 minutes south. Sand Lake dunes are near and the Blue Heron and Tillamook cheese factories are about 25 minutes north. The Dory boat charters, fishing, crabbing, numerous hiking trails, and horse and camel rentals (seasonal) are all nearby. The space The cottage has three bedrooms, a living and dining room, breakfast nook, bar, laundry room, and sitting areas. It also has a wood stove, deck, outside eating area, and fire pit. We recently installed a mini-split for air conditioning and additional heat. Guest access All unlocked areas are for your use. Other things to note Cell coverage is intermittent so it is advisable to have the WIFI calling feature turned on your cell. There are land lines also available for calls anywhere in the continental USA.

"Camp Cloverdale" is your cozy, pet friendly home away from home, just steps from the beautiful Tierra Del Mar beach. There is a large fenced private yard with a fire pit, hot tub shed, outdoor shower, bunk room with plenty of toys and games to keep the kids busy. 3 miles north of Pacific City in peaceful and beautiful Tierra Del Mar. There are 2 queen bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom with 2 single bunk beds, 1 office work space with a pull out queen sofa; and there is space for a boat or camper. The space Our home is 1 block from the beach with under a minute walk to the beautiful and enchanting Tierra Del Mar beach. We have a fenced yard and back up to a wetland and a giant, wild forested hill. We are located on the tsunami evacuation route up the hill behind us. There is plenty of wildlife with daily deer sightings, bunnies, and birds. We have a large outdoor deck, outdoor shower, grill, and fire pit to enjoy when weather allows. Indoors, The main heat source is a wood burning stove to cozy up with during cold, rainy days that fully heats the home, and a wood pile is always stocked, and in the bedrooms there are also wall cadet heaters. We have a large screen smart tv (not shown in picture) by couches in main room that has streaming abilities, a small smart TV and DVD player in downstair bedroom with the bunkbeds, and upstairs in the common area as well. There is the option for garage entrance for anyone who cannot navigate stairs. If entering through the gate, there will be 2 steps to navigate to get onto the deck. There are 2 queen bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and have set up the 2nd floor common area with a puzzle table/game table, foosball table and sitting area with a coffee table to provide another area to gather and relax. On the main floor, there is a queen bedroom with 2 single bunkbeds, and a office work space, with a queen pull out sofa. We have several DVDs and games to enjoy in the bunk room and common area upstairs. Our bathrooms are on the 1st floor. One is an easy step in shower, with a small lip to step over and seat. The second is a tub shower. The shed outside, next to the fire pit, has a 7 person Marquis hot tub, lit with string lights, and a bar area with a refrigerator and ice maker. Dogs are welcome and there are 2 dog crates, dishes and some toys and a chuck-it around. Guest access All Other things to note We are a pet friendly home and love when you can share your vacation with your furry friend. We have a fully fenced yard, so you can rest at ease by the fire without worrying your pet will wander off. We have dog crates and bowls if needed, but feel free to bring any bedding or blankets that keep your pet happy. Try to keep Fido off the white human bedding and furniture if at all possible so we can keep them nice for future guests;) We follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Come for the surfing, stay for a taste of a true Oregon Coast getaway. This home is newly constructed & designed tastefully with modern yet cozy coastal touches. Relax in the living room with a glass of wine by the fireplace and floor to ceiling windows, or on the front deck as the sun sets over Whalen Bay. Only ten minutes to Pacific City for world-class seafood, surfing, fishing & mountainbiking. Get your best night's rest with natural white noise as the waves crash into the mouth of the bay. The space The location is special in that it’s located across from Whalen Bay where the tide water flushes in and out twice daily. The views are unbeatable from the home as it overlooks the bay and Sitka Sedge bird sanctuary. We are only ten minutes away from Pacific City! If you’re a mountain biker, there are world class mountain biking trails being built, only 1 mile down the street! Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen and plan to cook local seafood while enjoying expansive views of the bay. We have lots of utensils for cracking crabs and oysters! SLEEPING + BATHROOMS - + downstairs: the game room with pool table + downstairs bathroom with one sink and bathtub can be accessed from the front door entry way level. There is a double queen bed accessible via ladder in the game room. You can sleep two comfortably (one in each bed) but note, access is steep and not allowed for unsupervised minors & elderly. + second level (main level): 2 bedrooms both with king size beds + one shared upstairs main bathroom with two sinks and large luxury custom rain head shower LIVING/ DINING SEATING - images in our listing represent all seating options in the open floor plan. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen with views of the bay. The large deck dining table is also is a great options for dining in the summer! Featuring a BBQ for grilling on the deck, too. Guest access There is no cell service at the home so please plan accordingly! Guest will want to take note of the keypad instructions and WiFi login to access upon arrival. Guests may not access property surrounding the home. Booking includes the home with access outdoors only in front of the home where guests park, not the back of the home (this is owners area) Other things to note CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS The cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning ( bedding and laundry turn-over, surfaces, floors). Additional cleaning fees may be incurred for excessive mess (excessive dishes, home is a disaster) CELL SERVICE This home does not have cell service for any carriers. Plan to plug in your route on your phone for directions while in service. Our Wi-Fi works great at the home! GUESTS Only the guests on the confirmed Airbnb reservation are allowed on the property / in the cabin.
