At night the theatre can turn into a disco. The music studio has a drum set and keyboard, just plug and play if you have a guitar. For those that don't play, we have a professional karaoke system. The outdoor lawn is perfect and level to play games, (corn-hole supplied) and the outdoor bar/patio has a fire pit perfect for the evening cocktails and smores. The hot tub holds 7 people and the deck space is a whooping 1600sq feet. Pool table, ping pong, and shuffleboard table keep you entertained for hours. Two wood-burning fireplaces, two Weber grills, and a smoker. There is a chef's kitchen with a 48-inch professional stove w/two ovens, two refrigerators, three ice machines, and a wine chiller. Our one-of-a-kind enchanting country escape is perfect for families looking for a peaceful, cozy, spacious and well-appointed home. With 6 bedrooms (including 1 with crib) + 2 offices, large indoor & outdoor dining tables, our home can easily host a single family or larger group. The grounds are magical, and the 2 acres of lakefront land results in gorgeous views and lots to do. Only 1hr 20 min drive or train from NYC & close to Ridgefield CT & Katonah NY. Limited availability left in Aug 2026! The space About the house & bedrooms: On the lower level is our kitchen, dining room and living room, and access to the outdoor dining and pool area & lake and yard beyond, as well as a large BBQ area off the kitchen (with built in BBQ, green egg, smoker & brazilian rotisserie). The next level hosts the primary bedroom, an office and a nursery, and on the far wing of this floor is the playroom / media room with access to a private guest suite + office above. The media room has a pull out couch, and there is a queen bed in the guest suite above this room. The top level has two additional bedrooms, one with a full bed, and the other with a full bed that has a twin trundle bed. We have a sixth bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bath accessed through a hidden staircase next to the kitchen. About the grounds: We are located on Lake Truesdale with 2 acres of lakefront property. The lake is wonderful for boating and fishing, and we have paddleboards, kayaks, a row boat and a sailboat as well as a fully equipped fishing shed with rods, tackle and live vests for all ages. From May - September, we have a gorgeous infinity pool with attached hot tub that can be heated. Our backyard is large and flat and wonderful to hang in, and has a large garden, a jungle gym and a games shed with ping pong table, corn hole and beyond. There are meandering walking paths along the hillside above with beautiful views that feels like walking through an enchanted land. About the area: There is a lovely 2 mile loop on the roads that surround the lake for walking or running, and lots of hiking nearby. We are 10 minutes from Ridgefield, CT which is equipped with multiple grocery store and specialty options as well as an adorable downtown area with shops and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Katonah, home to our nearest train station on the Harlem Metro North line, as well as a lovely downtown area with specialty stores and boutiques. For the winter time, we are 30 minutes from the closest ski area, Thunder Ridge. I can share many more local "to-do's" if interested!

There is a deck directly off the kitchen that has a grill, fire pit and outdoor dining. There’s one full bathroom in the upstairs hallway, that is a standup rain shower. First bedroom on the left has two full-size beds. The second bedroom on the left has two queen size beds. The bedroom on the right is a king size bed with a bathroom attached which also has a standup rain shower. When you go back to the front and go down the stairs you immediately enter the hangout area that has another large gathering area with 3 walls of custom murals, a pool table, dart board and board games, another 70 inch smart TV, and a wrap around bar/hang out area by the pool table. The one bathroom in the hallway is a full bathroom and the only bathroom with a tub. The first bedroom on the left is the bunk room that has a double bed on the bottom, twin bed on the top and then a trundle pull out twin bed. It includes four bedroom, two full baths and two half baths is on 0.92 acres right on the water. Our home has a very open floor plan, a very large kitchen with granite counter tops stainless steel appliances that opens up to the large family room with gas fireplace all open to a large deck with incredible views. The formal Living Room with vaulted ceilings and opens to the dining room. The laundry and powder room are all on the main level. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and separate private bathroom. It also has its own private balcony with views of the lake. There are two other bedrooms and a full hallway bathroom that rounds out the second floor. The home is built on a hill so while it looks small from the street level, it opens up as you move inside. The top floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom as well as the kitchen and main living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings. Head down the spiral staircase to get to the master suite with an en suite bathroom. There are also multiple patio areas; one with a large L-shaped couch and coffee table, one with a large outdoor dining table and grill, and one with a fire pit. Great for enjoying the outdoors! And finally there are steps that take you down to the private dock area.
