The space LIVING / DINING: The living room features mid-century modern decor with ample seating and Bluetooth speakers for entertainment. The morning-lit Living Room’s full-height windows look onto the 2nd Floor Patio, overlooks the rear yard and includes a telescope for star-gazing and seating for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The dining room features a custom-made oversized dining table with seating for 8 (can seat up to 10), side bar table and cabinet perfect for entertaining guests, sharing a meal and your favorite wine or cocktail. KITCHEN: The large kitchen includes ample counter space, center island with seating and modern appliances- electric stove and cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The kitchen is conveniently equipped with a full line of cookware, bakeware and countertop appliances to make your stay more enjoyable and at home. The Lower Level also includes a Game Room complete with a pool table, game table and various board games, books and toys. There are a few fun toys in the home for young children including a tent, books and cars. SWIMMING POOL: Note: Swimming Pool is closed for the 2025 Summer- the pool is covered and inaccessible. AMENITIES: -The house is served by a Verizon Fios Gigabit Connection with a router on each floor. Ethernet cables are available in-house should you need a direct connection. -A 3-burner Weber propane grill is located in the front yard, complete with grilling accessories, a full tank and grill cover. -The Laundry Room is located off the side of the Kitchen with washer, dryer and slop sink. -Driveway can accommodate 4-5 vehicles. HOUSE RULES: Please- no pets, partying or smoking indoors. Bringing unauthorized pets, extra guests or any proof of smoking indoors or partying will result in a $500 fine. OTHER RULES/ THINGS TO NOTE: *Children are not allowed on the 2nd Floor patio. Parents, please make sure kids remain supervised when outdoors at all times. *Not a pet friendly home, sorry! The heated pool opening date is typically May 15th and closing date is Sept 15th, but requests to adjust can be considered if weather permits. All flooring is hard wood with area rugs in each room, and there is a first floor bedroom with 1st floor full bathroom with shower/tub across the hall from the bedroom. Guest access The entire house is available for your use and enjoyment, with the exception of the garage, which will remain closed off during your stay. Welcome to our cozy apartment in the heart of Arlington, just a short stroll from Vassar College. You’ll have the entire downstairs floor to yourself with private entrance, private deck, and plenty of space to relax—no shared areas. We live upstairs, so if you need anything we’re close by, but you’ll have all the privacy you want. The neighborhood is peaceful and green yet you’re still in close distance to Vassar, great coffee shops, restaurants, and local shops. The space Step out onto your private deck and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the birds. On a good day you might even spot deer, fox, hawks, or wild turkeys wandering through the yard. Inside, the two bedrooms have wonderfully comfortable mattresses (Saatva and memory foam) to ensure a great night’s sleep. The bathroom has a tub if you enjoy soaking after a day of exploring, and if you need laundry, we’re happy to arrange access to the washer and dryer. The living room is cozy, with a daybed perfect for lounging or accommodating an extra guest. There’s also a small area (not a full kitchen, there is no stove, oven or hot plate) with everything you need for a quick snack or drink: Nespresso machine (pods included), an electric kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. In the backyard, you’ll find a fire pit (usable when conditions allow) and plenty of firewood—we’re always glad to help you get it started if we’re around. Arlington has a friendly small-town feel and some great spots to eat and relax. Pets considered for $15/night fee w/inquiry prior. No full kitchen. Car suggested. The space Private bottom floor apartment in my home with no access to rest of the house. Brand new and room to spread out. I do have a small dog and a cat upstairs in the house in case of pet allergies. The suite is the lower level of raised ranch home and me and my daughter live here so you will hear movement etc when we are home. Parking for 1 car in the driveway and there is additional safe parking on the street in a quiet area. No kitchen - just an apartment size frig (no freezer), microwave, air fryer, Keurig coffee maker and outside grill. Guest access Private entrance on first floor with no access to the rest of the house. One small step to enter guest suite. Driveway parking for 1 car. No kitchen. Entrance is the door closest to the driveway and there is a key pad for entry/self check in Other things to note I usually can be flexible with arrival / departure times just ask. Pets are accepted with prior approval but please do not leave pets unattended for extended periods.
