The space This home is perfect for staying with friends and family. Of all of the 5 bedrooms, not one bedroom shares a wall with another bedroom providing a more private experience. All bedrooms include a smart TV, fan, luggage rack(s) and chargers by each bed. There is also a dresser and closet in each room and extra linens. You'll find a fully stocked kitchen complete with food processor, blender, crock pot, mixers, coffee pots, and more! The hall closet has many additional baby/toddler items like a rocker, sound machine, pack and play, high chair, and folding baby mattress. The pool/hot tub area has loads of floaties, toys, loungers, bluetooth speaker, and more. The pool is heated at no extra charge. The natural gas firepit is easy to light and has roasting skewers if you're in the mood for smores! There is also a patio heater to make chilly evenings more enjoyable. You'll also find an indoor/outdoor ping-pong table. Additional folding tables and chairs are also available at no extra charge. You will certainly enjoy this home's ample space and proximity to some of KC's finest gems. The space This is an old home spread across 3100 square feet and four levels if including the basement. Much of the original utilities, hardware, and flooring are still present. That being said, patience with the home is needed and there will likely be some inconveniences and risks to consider: Laundry and attached garage are located in the basement while bedrooms are located in the second and third levels. Skeeball, foosball, poker table (chips included), a wet bar, and a board game wall. There's a kids' reading and game nook tucked under the stairs that has become a guest favorite. A sleeper sofa here adds another sleeping option if you need it. Bedroom 4 is downstairs and honestly one of the better rooms in the house. Color and art create this comfortable space. Enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood with easy access to Old Overland Park which is filled with quaint shops, restaurants, bakeries and an awesome farmer's market. Antioch Acres Park is just a few blocks away. Easy highway access to I35 and just 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City. Great for business professionals looking for a home away from home while traveling for work. The space I do not stay in the house. Please respect the neighbors and keep outdoor noise to a minimum. Enjoy breakfast or evenings on the gazebo or deck under the pergola. There is also a gas grill for outdoor cooking and tiki torches. Fire pit is under construction. Guest access You have access to the entire house which includes the upstairs: kitchen, bathroom with a bathtub and shower, three bedrooms with another sleeping space in the living room and use of basement for sleeping with two full sized beds and a full sized pull out sleeper and a twin space for sleeping/recreational use to watch Netflix. 2nd and bathroom has walk-in mosaic shower. If you would like to discuss bringing pets, please reach out to me to discuss the possibility. I do have a fenced in back yard. Other things to note Parking available in drive way all the time but in the street there is limited parking on the street for school drop off and pick up hours during the school year. The signs will direct you. When school is out parking is available on the street. Kansas does not recycle glass. I do recycle so feel free to place your glass items in the bin in the garage. Trash pick up is early on Friday, sometimes at 7 am. I put the bins out the night before to be safe.
