The space The Lazy River Lodge is within minutes to the Sunriver Resort, but lacks the crowds and nosy neighbors, making it the ultimate Central Oregon vacation spot! Your private 5,000 square foot Lodge features 5 bedrooms with 8 beds and 4.5 bathrooms - perfect for up to 14 guests and with 24-hour check-in. This home makes for the perfect corporate retreat in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by stunning mountain views and river frontage. Here is a breakdown of the rooms so you know exactly what to expect! *Check in time is after 4pm *Check out time is 10am Times are firm unless prearranged at time of booking. There will be a $50 fee applied for early check in or late check out. An early check in or late check out can not always be guaranteed and depends on booking and cleaning schedule. Bedrooms: Each bedroom has high-quality memory foam beds so you can sleep like royalty and plenty of storage space for your belongings so you can unpack and feel at home. The Primary bedroom in this home is huge with a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom even a jacuzzi spa tub! So let your body relax with a bath bomb and a good book, letting the massaging jets work their magic. Bedroom two has a queen bed, en suite bathroom and ample space! Bedroom three has a queen-sized bed and a twin bunk bed. Bedrooms four and five each have a queen bed Bathrooms: With four and a half bathrooms in the house, you’ll never have to worry about a long wait for the shower. Each bathroom is stocked with toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash for your convenience and a “forgot it” kit just in case it slipped your mind to bring that toothbrush. There are both walk-in showers and tub/shower combos so if any kiddos need a bath after a fun day of exploring or swimming in the pool, you’ll have the ability to get them squeaky clean! Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped for any meals you choose to stay in for. Take advantage of the fridge and freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, pots and pans, full dining sets, and dishwasher for easy cleanup. The dining room table has enough seats for up to ten guests with additional barstools at the kitchen’s island for three more. Need more cooking space? We even have a smaller kitchen area in the upstairs living room above the garage. With an additional refrigerator and freezer, another microwave, and plenty of room, you will be able to cook or prep and have the extra space you need! Living room and bonus room: There are two living rooms, one upstairs and one in the basement. The upstairs living room above the garage has a beautiful view of the mountains through large windows and glass French doors leading out to the private deck. There are two comfortable sofa chairs and a larger couch. This living area also has a private desk for anyone that needs to get some work done while they’re away. High-speed wifi is connected throughout the home so you won’t have to worry about lags or dropouts. The downstairs area is a large family room/game room with a couch that can fit the whole family and a queen size murphy bed. Spend the evenings playing on the shuffleboard, have some friendly competition, or sit around with some drinks and enjoy the night. There is plenty of room for the kids to have their own area to play, while the adults enjoy each other's company. Our home theater is always a guest favorite! There is a large projector screen on one wall with two rearrangeable sofas facing it. Keep them set up as a couch, or add in the middle sections to make a comfortable bed to watch your favorite movies on. The theater is equipped with surround sound to give you the best viewing experience. The indoor pool is another guest favorite! And how could it not be?? The pool is heated to about 85 degrees and has plenty of fun pool toys including pool noodles and floats for the little ones that might need some help in the water. Please note that you will be swimming at your own risk and there should be an adult present any time children are in the pool area. Tired from a long day exploring in the mountains? We also have a hot tub for you to enjoy during your visit! Outside: The home sits on 2.7 private riverfront acres as your backyard and all to yourselves. The Lazy River Lodge is perfect for families or groups due to it's living space separation. With the main home on one side of the pool room and apartment on the other, each group can have their own space while still being together. Take a lovely stroll down the hill, where you’ll find our gazebo picnic area and a dock directly on the Little Deschutes River! Bring your own floatation devices or paddle-boards for a pleasant 1.5 - 2 hour float carrying you to the La Pine State Park (just a 13 min pick up drive from the home) On the 2.7 acres, you have access to the home, free private parking, a fire pit, dock and gazebo on the river. It’s easy to spend all afternoon and evening enjoying the space and all it has to offer. Relax with your favorite book under the gazebo, sip your morning coffee on the deck, sit and watch all the wildlife from almost anywhere on the property. Take a stroll along the river, have a campfire in the evening and roast some marshmallows while you reminisce Front Entrance: You'll find the front door along the left side of the home. There is a well-lit path to the entrance that lights up with a motion light as you walk towards the door. Access is with a keyless entry pad that offers a personalized code for each guest so you can feel safe knowing that any previous guest codes have been deleted. Guest access Guest will have private access to the entire home, deck and backyard with the exception of the garage. Other things to note ***If you are looking to host an event or wedding here, please reach out to us prior as an inquiry. We are really only set up for smaller potential events so if your event is over 50 individuals, our property is not the best fit for what you're looking for. Situated right on the Little Deschutes River with 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms & a bonus room there is room for the entire family. Sit in the bubbling hot tub and watch the sunset over Mt. Bachelor while the dogs play in the yard. Come explore Central Oregon and stay here, where the fun awaits, year-round! The space Our beautiful lodge has hardwood flooring throughout common areas as well as stamped concrete, a triple car garage and 2 fireplaces! Rain or shine you can watch the big game or snuggle in with a great movie. The lower level of Whispering Willow Lodge boasts a large living space which includes a family room, wood burning fireplace and stamped concrete flooring. All lower-level rooms have direct access to the sprawling back yard. The main bedroom has a cozy King size bed with ample closet space. The bathroom is just as great as the rest, featuring granite countertops a full bath/shower wrapped with slate stone. The 2nd lower-level bedroom includes a pleasant King size bed and a bunk bed with a twin upper and full-size lower bunk. There is plenty of room for everybody! The outdoor setting of Whispering Willow Lodge has a 6' cedar fence on three sides of the property to provide a private vacation free from noise. The driveway is very large and can accommodate many vehicles, snowmobiles, boats, RV's or toy trailers. The sprawling grassy back yard provides ample space for fun and games. The NATURAL landscape leading you down to the river makes for a true nature experience, so keep your eye out for wildlife! If you wish to set up tents, there are endless options down along the river. If being close to the house is more desirable there are “rough" areas on the firepit side of the backyard with plenty of space to set up “camp.” (Please do not set up tents on the manicured grass) The yard also features a paver fire pit with hand crafted stone seating. This allows for ample seating so the entertainment can carry on into the evening. There is also a bubbling hot tub to relax in. Just imagine, watching the sun set over Mt. Bachelor after your day of exploring all that Central Oregon has to offer. In the summer months Whispering Willow Lodge has private river access right out of the backyard! About 40 yards from the back door just across the foot bridge, thru a grassy clearing you will find several hundred feet of untouched NATURAL private riverbank, summertime fun in the Little Deschutes. So, bring your chairs, floaties, Canoes, Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Fishing Poles! You can float the slow moving lazy Little Deschutes River for hours if you wish. It's a great way to spend the afternoon relaxing with your family and friends! It's one of our favorite family summertime activities! There is also plenty of exploring for the kids, while the adults relax and enjoy the surroundings. Whispering Willow Lodge is just 6 minutes to the completely renovated World Renowned Sunriver Village & Resort. In the summer, the 12-foot floor-to-ceiling glass panels in the great room and dining room slide open and pocket for true indoor/outdoor living. The open floor plan lends to large gatherings. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, for your culinary skills to make your stay that much more relaxing. The beautiful slab dining table easily fits everyone for a festive celebration or meal. This home is spacious and comfortably fits multiple families with kids. A great room and a separate second living room allow many separate parties all under one roof. While some are sipping cocktails in the great room by the fire, others can enjoy a movie with surround sound or play pool and shuffleboard in the living room. There are five ensuite bedrooms. On the ground floor, there are two king bedroom suites, with views to the pine forest, spacious bathrooms, showers (and bathroom one with a bathtub) walk-in closets, and large sliding glass pocketing doors to sleep in the wilderness. The two ground-floor rooms each have a desk with a view, providing a private quiet space to squeeze in work in between playing in the woods. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one king bedroom, one with two queen beds, and a bunk room with three twin bunk beds (6 beds), each room with its own spacious bathroom. Outside, you’ll find a built-in gas grill and a giant concrete dining table to enjoy summer outdoor dining. After a delicious meal, you can retire to the fire table for smores and star gazing so the party never ends. Multiple natural stone patios and porches keep you connected with the natural surroundings. The house has Sonos throughout with several wired speakers in the great room, dining room, living room, and patio and stand-alone speakers in all of the bedrooms allowing everyone to curate their own separate vibe in every room of the house. After a hard day of play, sink into the 8-person outdoor hot tub or step into the dry sauna to relax your sore muscles. And to keep you organized and ready for the next adventure, the mudroom has 12 individual spaces each with a bench, hooks, and cabinet above for each guest to store their own ski and sun gear. The Caldera Springs Forest House, Sunriver Cove and Spa, and Crosswater golf course are not available to renters of our house. In winter, enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding at nearby Mt. Bachelor, along with cross-country trails, sledding hills, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Sleds are provided for your use. In summer, take advantage of endless outdoor adventures, from hiking and visiting nearby lakes to rafting the Deschutes River or playing a round of golf on Sunriver’s beautiful course. For security, there are Ring cameras located at the front door, the front side door and driveway. These record video and audio and are on 24/7. There are no cameras inside the home or in private outdoor spaces (hot tub or deck). Guest access The front and back doors have Smart locks. I will send you your individual code prior to check-in. The code will stop working at your check-out time. Google maps has the incorrect house on their map. We are the first house on the right on Pathfinder Lane. It has a large half circle driveway as well as parking in front of the garage. Other things to note We are happy to share our house with you! Please note that there is no access to the garage. The house has fast wifi but no cable. You will be able to log into the Roku device as a guest to access your own streaming services. Please do not move furniture. It is a $50 charge if the cleaners need to move furniture back to its original place. There is a $300 replacement fee for a lost SHARC pass. Please hang them up by the microwave in the kitchen. It is located in a community with five private access points to the Deschutes River for day floats or fishing outings. The space LIVING AREAS The great room has comfortable leather couches to lounge on by the cozy wood fireplace. In the summer the central air conditioning helps cool warm days. There is also a TV with a Firestick in the living room so guests can access their favorite shows. There are 9 foot ceilings throughout the house, which adds to the spacious feel. Throughout the house, guests will see displays of the owner's love of the outdoors and nature. You’ll see antique snowshoes, skis, a retro snowboard, as well as elk antlers and a bear rug. The insulated garage has been transformed into a space for your whole party to enjoy, complete with ping pong, foosball and ample seating. Wi-fi high speed wireless internet access is also available. KITCHEN AND DINING The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with commonly used cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, bakeware and silverware. It also includes a double oven, stainless steel appliances and induction stovetop.There is also a Keurig for those who enjoy a cup or two to start the morning. Dining room that has seating for 12 is in the great room next to the open kitchen. BEDROOMS AND BATHS The house has five comfortable rooms. On the main floor, there is a king bed in the master bedroom with an attached full bath. There is also a Pack n Play in the closet for guest use. A second bathroom is on the main floor, that provides an easily accessible toilet while playing outside. Upstairs there are four more bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there is a king bedroom with a sitting area, complete with a futon that can be made into a full sized bed. The bunk room, with a twin on top, full on bottom bunk, also has a daybed that can be pulled out to two twin beds. The bunk room is furnished with a TV, DVDs, PlayStation 3, and Apple TV, along with a children’s table and books. There are also two additional queen bedrooms upstairs. OUTDOOR AREAS Enjoy half an acre of fully fenced privacy. Relax on the back patio, complete with BBQ, table and seating for six. There is ample space to play the provided badminton, cornhole and croquette, and any other yard games you choose to bring. The private backyard hot tub seats up to six. The paved front driveway provides plenty of parking, including an RV space. SOAPS ETC PROVIDED The house is stocked with a starter set of personal soap, laundry detergent, dish soap and paper towels. The deck is equipped with patio furniture, heaters, sun umbrellas, a barbecue, and a private hot tub that is professionally maintained. Guest access You have access to the entire house; however, there are a few cabinets in the garage, laundry room, and bathrooms that are locked or have a note indicating "not for guest use". In the bay area of the garage, it is roped off and not for guests to enter or use any of those items in that area. If a ball rolls into the area, guests are welcome to retrieve it. There is absolutely no parking on the street at any time. Overnight parking is not allowed at the park or the clubhouse across the street. If you need to park temporarily in the nearby park area, a parking placard is required and can be found in the guestbook. Other things to note To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, and respectful of our neighbors, there is a strict observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. During these hours avoid loud voices or shouting, as sounds can carry over the water. May be asked to leave if unable to adhere to quiet hours. A Canoe is available for use and located on the side of the house. There are also two blowup paddle boards available. Life jackets and paddles are located in the garage in the cabinet. There is also a cart to load the canoe if you prefer not to carry it. Right next door is a covered picnic area, boat ramp, and basketball hoop that you are welcome to use. We ask you to respect the space and make sure not to leave any items thereafter use and pack out any garbage. To maintain the integrity of our network and prevent disruptions we ask guests not to tamper or alter the modem or router without prior approval. Due to our remote location, the Internet provider is Starlink. Wi-Fi speed is 50-500 mb. This can fluctuate during routine maintenance. The printer onsite, an Epson ET-2850, is located upstairs in the 5-bedroom inside the entertainment center cabinet. We've supplied a few sheets of copy paper, but if you anticipate printing multiple pages, we recommend bringing your own copy/printing paper. Before your arrival or using the printer, we encourage guests to download the necessary software onto their devices in advance.
