My 1898 Victorian has been separated into two units. You have your own entrance to the apt that makes up 1/2 of my 2nd floor and the entire third-floor of my house, located in the heart of Deforest. Walk to restaurants, parks, and other establishments.. I would be happy to share recommendations if that’s something you would like. Your unit sleeps eight people, and is priced for four. There is an additional charge for each guest after that. Please message me if you'd like to understand why. The space I live on the first and part of the second floor of a beautiful old Victorian with my two teenage boys. Your apartment is on part of the second and the entire third floor of the house. Guest access You will have the entire third floor of the house and part of the second floor to yourselves. We share all of the outside spaces including the side yard, front yard, backyard and front porch. We spend most of our outside time in the fenced in backyard with our dogs. You are welcome to join us there. Our dogs are friendly, but they will run if they get let out of the yard. Other things to note I do have two dogs. They are both friendly, and they don’t always get enough attention so sometimes they bark. Thor is small and he likes to howl with the firetrucks. Diesel is big and can look scary but he is the sweetest dog. Even so, it’s always best to proceed with caution because dogs can be unpredictable. They are very curious, and so whenever there is an opportunity, they can get out. Also, I do allow up to three pets, and I do my best to thoroughly clean in between guests. That being said, if you have pet allergies, keep in mind that dogs and cats may have been in the apartment before you. The pet fee is $75 for the first pet and $50 each for the second two, due at booking.

Our kid and pet friendly home on Madison's East Side is a short distance to some of the funkiest and most eclectic parts of the city, and just a short drive to the rest of what Madison has to offer! The house comes fully stocked with cooking essentials, a private workspace, free parking, and more. Whether you're in town for a Badger game, visiting friends or family, or just want to explore the city, this is an ideal home base to explore all of the city! The best part - NO CLEANING FEE!!! The space This house has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, along with 3 additional beds in the finished section of the basement. The first bedroom has a KING size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the 3 additional twin sized beds in the basement. All sleeping areas have blackout shades. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full size fridge/freezer, pots/pans/utensils, coffee maker, along with a complimentary tea and coffee. Do you have little ones? Look no further! As travelers with young children, we've considered all of the not-so-easy aspects of leaving home with kids. In the home, you will find a gate for the stairs, crib, noise machine, baby monitor, bed bumpers, high chair, booster seat and children's dishes/bowls/utensils to accommodate our guests with little ones. No need to pack and travel with all of those extra items - they are available for use during your stay! Please note that the crib is located in the finished portion of the basement. The pack n play could be used if your little one needs to sleep upstairs! Traveling with pets? Consider staying with us! We would happily welcome furry friends during your stay. Just make sure to include them in your reservation. Working remotely during your stay? We have fast wi-fi available and a full workstation in the main bedroom equipped with a single desk, desk chair, 24" monitor with HDMI connector, and (wired) keyboard. All you need is your laptop and mouse! We have local antenna for over-the-air cable television to the main living room TV and the basement TV. The living room TV and bedroom TV are Roku smart TV and are in guest mode - just input your trip dates upon turning on each TV and BYOS (bring your own streaming). Sign into your own streaming services, and when you check out, they automatically log you off of all accounts. Easy! The neighborhood is overall pretty quiet and relaxed! But please note, our direct neighbors on each side do have pups of their own, and they do get excitable when they see people outside at our home and can bark a lot! Please be respectful to them and the neighbors. Also, note that the home is close to both the airport and train tracks. You will occasionally hear planes overhead as well as occasional trains a few blocks away from inside the home. We do have oscillating fans/white noise machine to try and accommodate all of our guests that may be light sleepers! The space Double Queen- Traveling as a family or with friends, our 'double time' rooms provide you two custom built queen beds, wifi, tv, & mini-fridge. We love the calming green found in these rooms and think you will love the charm too! The Mill Hotel is located along Main St in downtown Waunakee, WI. The upstairs boasts six unique bedroom and bathroom layouts for guests. The first floor is home to Grace Coffee Co. where guests can enjoy the convenience of craft coffee, espresso, pastries (made in house!) and a full kitchen with breakfast, lunch and small evening plates. Grace also offers a full cocktail menu and rotating tap beers. While this space has transitioned over the years the beautiful beam work has remained. Please enjoy the quirk and charm that comes with a building well over 150 years old! Guest access Self Check In Guest access was built with ease, enjoyment, and safety in mind. Upon booking online, guests will enjoy the convenience of self check in via information communication via text/email. Custom codes will be provided for guests for room access, as well as building access after 7pm. Other things to note Some of the character of our building includes the location next to the railroad. While it may concern our guests at first take, we look at what a prominent role it once played in the building's history. Today the railroad is traversed infrequently and only if you are lucky will you see one of few routes that continue to pass. In addition, one of the great conveniences of staying at the Mill includes the short flight of stairs downstairs to indulge in a hot morning coffee or latte, pastry, brunch, or evening cocktail. Cozy guest suite/basement apartment with separate entrance for nature lovers. Lake and capitol views from breakfast nook with microwave and mini fridge and coffeemaker. Full kitchen coming fall 2025. Quiet, woodsy, neighborhood adjacent to Governor Nelson State Park. Completely painted and updated 7/25/24. Tiki level, pier, and kayaks for guest use. People love the views, the hot tub and woods. It is a 1929 cabin so many stairs, some indoor insects and limited space. Well behaved pets welcome! The space My guests consistently comment on the serenity, relaxing effect of my Lake Mendota retreat. It is not fancy but it has everything one needs to enjoy a quiet cabin type experience just 15 min from downtown Madison. I will do everything I can to help it be relaxing and restful. Guest access The downstairs suite is entirely yours with locked entrances. The hot tub and front of lake area is yours to enjoy as well as a lakefront finnish sauna. Firepit, bbq and tiki area are yours to share but as I am often gone you will have exclusive use to them. It is a bit of a trek up and down stairs but almost all of my guests have found it worth the effort! Other things to note Parking issues & respect for my neighbors are the two issues I have stated elsewhere but bear repeating. This is a quiet woodsy neighborhood with both families and retirees whose right to quiet after 9 PM needs to be respected. Parking is also tight as my neighbor and I have no off street parking or garages so please park in front of my property (Lakeside) The other two issues I want to disclose is that our neighborhood and other lake properties with woods all around do have minor bug issues outside and sometimes inside, primarily in the summer months. Mosquitoes, fireflies, and the occasional crawling bug do occur. If you are bug averse my lakeside retreat may not be for you. The only other issue is that there are often many stairs associated with good views on Lake Mendota's North shore. Mine are steeper than some, not as bad as others. It leads to great privacy but can be a challenge to navigate for some folks and hauling things up and down is necessary.

Welcome to our home! We have upgraded our Garden (lower) Level to host travelers much like ourselves and long-term guests. The view of our backyard is incredible! You will find yourself lost in the country, yet less than ten minutes from all the excitement that Madison has to offer. Along with a private drive and entrance, you will have 1,000 square feet of comfort all to yourselves. This property is perfect for a quiet getaway we all need from time to time. All designed with you in mind. The space Because we have been Airbnb guests ourselves, we have enjoyed the experience of staying in unique places. We hope you will find our Garden Level to more than meet your expectations with little touches that make your stay as relaxing as possible. You can access thousands of shows and movies with your Hulu, Disney, and Amazon account on our TV. Our home is licensed with Dane County to be an Airbnb host, so you can have the confidence that important details regarding your health and safety have been taken care of. The bathroom in our Garden Suite is on the small side, but nevertheless, has a toilet, sink, and walk-in shower. Our kitchenette does not have a sink, but we have a pitcher of water for the coffee maker. Because we live upstairs, let us know if you need more! Our home is about 15 minutes away from noted locations such as UW Health at the American Center, Associated Training Services, boat launches for Lake Mendota and Monona. We are less than 30 minutes from the UW, Kohl Center, and Henry Vilas Zoo. Guest access Our guests will have their own driveway to park in when staying at our Garden Level Suite. When you arrive, use our keyless entry for your convenience. As our guest, feel free to enjoy our yard and walk back to the pond. Bring a fishing pole and see if you can get lucky enough to catch one of our bass or panfish! There you will have a spectacular view of trees, wetlands, and a beautiful view of the heavens. Become one with nature and just relax!! Use of the fire pit is not allowed due to liability issues. If you are a cyclist or runner, our neighborhood has some nice hills for a little challenge. There is access to a nice bike trail system two miles from our home.
