Modern amenities abound in this inviting home within Wilmington's amazing historic district! 1 King Suite, 1 Queen BR, 2 Twin BR, 2.5 BA, Fenced Yard + Free Off-street Parking. Dogs are welcomed to join you during your stay, please make sure to include them in your booking as pets in the guest section as there is a pet fee per visit. The space Entire experience is designed to make working from home a breeze. The spacious primary bedroom suite features a king bed with a plush pillowtop mattress, walk-in shower, and a desk so folks can work and take calls/meetings in private. The front bedroom has a queen bed with a plush pillowtop as well. The third bedroom features two twin beds with memory foam mattresses. Large, shady backyard, and just 1-3 blocks away from some of the best the city has to offer. Enjoy the large backyard lounging about under the towering oak trees. The home works really well for six people, but we do allow up to 8 people to stay, with the understanding that the people beyond six guests will have to sleep on twin air mattresses. We have two twin air mattresses, with bedding, that are available for guests to use. The air mattresses include a self-contained air pump, so no worries about blowing them up. However, guests must request the air mattresses be available and the guests will be responsible for inflating the air mattresses and making the beds. We also charge $50 per extra guest beyond eight people. Fast internet is powered by AT&T fiber, with speed up to 1 GB per second. The refrigerator does not have a water dispenser or ice maker. We have a Brita water pitcher inside the refrigerator and ice cube trays. Off-street parking is available, but on-street parking is rarely an issue, since St. Luke's Church takes up the block across the street. Off-street parking shared between guests staying in the main house and guests staying in the cottage. The serene backyard is large for a downtown home and is shaded by towering oaks throughout most of the day. The backyard is shared with guests who may be staying in the cottage behind the main house. Robert Strange Park, the largest park in downtown Wilmington, is a half-block away, with a public swimming pool, one baseball and 2 softball fields, basketball courts, in addition to 6 tennis/pickleball courts. A big backyard awaits, wonderful for an intimate gathering of family and friends. Unused electrical outlets have covers and we are focused on making the house "child friendly" as possible. However, we cannot assure the home is "child proof", and guests accept full responsibility for any accidents/injuries. We have a Graco Pack N Play Rock N Grow Playard available. It's one of the best pack n plays available and retails for about $300. Just let us know if you need it during your stay, and we will make it available. Solidly renovated 1866 Italianate House in the Historic District in the Downtown Wilmington neighborhood .Original old hardwood floors, footstep-worn thresholds, tiled fireplaces & time-shifted glass panes tell you this house has been here 150 plus years ! Our 3 bedroom/2-bath/full-kitchen duplex is walking distance to anywhere downtown & a short 17 minute drive to the beach ! A very large backyard for hanging out and BBQ shared with owner. We are pet friendly ; fee is $ 65 per pet per stay. The space Hello GUEST We expect you around 5-6 PM but if this is not correct and you come later , let us know before your arrival. We live next door with our 9 year old who goes to sleep at 8 PM , which means we will be upstairs and won't hear any knocking . We live on N.6th Street near the Princess St. intersection and the house is colored pale rose. Your entrance is on the left and when you arrive just knock on the door on the right .The Doorknob in front is historic and decorative, please use Metal handle to push door open and be gentle with the old doors. Now about the place.....You have a functioning kitchen with glasses and cups for all beverages, a coffee machine with filters and grinder plus toaster and a working oven . Recycling and trash pickup is early on Monday morning so we will let you know when we pull all the receptacles to the street . Let us know if you need another bag .Please put all TRASH out on sunday evening Linens and towels are all there with soap but you will need Shampoo if ours is wrong for you, shower gel and more toilet paper. The 2 toilets use Eco-Flush so please hold handle 3 seconds when you flush. You have 2 bedrooms upstairs , both with queen beds plus a sunroom in the back with a doublebed . The Sunroom is accessible through the second bedroom but all the rooms have doors for privacy. There is a Shower and bathroom upstairs. There is also a fully equipped laundryroom. Laundry detergent is ultra concentrated so please fill cap up to line 2 for each load. When using dryer, please put on LOW HEAT, HIGH does not work .Extra blankets are in each room. Access to upper floor is by spiral staircase from living room and by a straight stairwell from back porch leading to second bedroom upstairs. An open kitchen / living room for socializing with your entire group - unique for an historic house. Lots and lots of beds. 2 Master Bedrooms with private baths. Plenty of off-street parking for up to 5 cars The space Our house was built in 1860 and we have just done a complete renovation converting it back in to a single family residence (it has been a law office for the last 40 years). The open kitchen and living room are unique to a house from this era. Plenty of room for a family gathering. 2 Master bedrooms. One on each floor. Each has its own private bathroom. Our "Kid" bedroom has 2 bunks, one with a double bed and the other with a full size mattress trundle as well as a sleeper sofa. A great house for a family reunion, bridal party, college reunion, or two couples with their kids. There is also futon (and an option for an air mattress) in the downstairs front library if your group needs more space. History preserved with all the modern conveniences. Original Heart Pine floors throughout. Guest access The entire 2 story, 2400 square foot house is yours. 5 off street dedicated parking spots. Other things to note Linens and towels provided. Welcome to the Clubhouse! Built in 2017, it is nestled right in the middle of downtown Wilmington's Arts and Antique district at the corner of Castle Street and 5th Avenue. This home is all of the charm of historic downtown Wilmington with the luxury of newer construction! The space The Clubhouse is 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with new Casper mattresses throughout. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. There is a modern shower in the en suite primary bathroom and a tub/ shower combo in the guest bathroom. The half bath is conveniently located on the main floor off of the living room. The professionally decorated home also boasts brand new Maytag stainless steel appliances throughout. Please take notice: The Clubhouse is located in the Castle Street Arts and Antique District. It is downtown Wilmington close to lots of shops and restaurants. It is a culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood. If you have any issues with that please chose another home to rent. We are extremely proud of our neighborhood and it’s eclectic fabric of neighbors. Other things to note We offer off street parking with a driveway. The curb to the driveway is steep so we recommend higher cars for it. There is generally plenty of street parking right in front of the house as well.

The space All the bedrooms and laundry are on the second level-of home. Heading down stairs is a big open space of dinning, kitchen and living room connected together. Outside in the back yard you have a fire pit with lawn chairs around it and a stainless grill with a cover to keep it clean for use . On the patio we have a nice seating area with a table and chairs connected with an umbrella to block the sun. There is a camera above to record video and audio of back yard for insurance purpose. Heading to the front porch there would be furniture for a couple to sit and enjoy the breeze. On the front porch there would be a doorbell camera to protect the property at all times it records and play audio. Our historic home was built in 1929. This jewel is located in a diverse, emerging, historic area, just a 10-minute walk from downtown, and 15-minute ride to either Carolina or Wrightsville beach. The space Overall the home is just shy of 2000 sq. /ft., with four bedrooms and 1 ½ baths. The house has historic charm with refinished original hardwood floors, high exposed ceilings, and upgraded gas fireplace. There are also large windows that offer lots of light throughout the house! The living room has a Flat screen TV with cable including HBO and a new upgraded gas fireplace. Most people come to Wilmington to enjoy the experience of fresh seafood, but if you would like to cook there is a complete kitchen with stainless steel appliances available for your use. Guest access There are 3 bedrooms that are available for use. The 3rd room is unoccupied, but kept locked. The 3 bedrooms that are open for use, sleep up to 6 adults comfortably. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the third room has twin beds, which is ideal for kids. All bedrooms are located upstairs and have clean linen and fresh towels. There is one full bathroom upstairs, a half bathroom downstairs and a washer and dryer for your use. Other things to note We have 2 beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and fishing rods for your use. We also have 2 bikes. They are all located in the shed behind the house. They key is hanging from the spice rack in the kitchen.
