Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located retreat. We are walking distance to a small town grocery store, places to eat, and a little shopping. Minutes from the quiet Cowboy Trail where you can bike or walk. Kayaking and canoeing down the Niobrara is near Valentines, NE. It is on hwy 20, west of Bassett. The space Welcome!! The house is located on the corner of S Clark and Bertha. There will be an American flag on the corner. Please park on the Bertha Street side. Feel free to use the garage. Use the back door for entrance and leaving. There are two bedrooms-one with a queen bed and the other with full. Extra linens are provided for the couch and sunroom wicker chaise. You may bring the chaise inside if you’d like. Guest access Please use the back door, where the garage is located if you wish to use. I will contact you to give you more directions upon entering. Other things to note Absolutely no smoking inside. If you wish to smoke, please smoke by the garage. Two queen beds plus additional sleep space on a rollaway bed in the living room closet. A compact work desk is available in the living room and a coffee nook available in the fully functional kitchen. Fenced yard perfect for child's play and a spacious attached garage that guests are welcome to use. Visit the beautiful Sandhills of Nebraska with a family stay here! Deer, grouse, turkey hunting along with trout fishing opportunities in the area. A great ranching and farming community that is friendly and welcoming. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The Rockin' Oz Guesthouse was previously a one room schoolhouse called Schoolhouse Rock. The multifamily homeschool was started in 2020 in the face of COVID and closed in May of 2024 as families transitioned to different interests. Located behind Midwest Country Clinic, it is centrally located in Bassett, NE. The guesthouse is 2 blocks from downtown and 15 minutes from Hidden Paradise in Long Pine, NE as well as the Niobrara River.
