Its great location is just steps away from what many claim is Lake Michigan’s most beautiful beach, Sheridan Beach. The seven bedrooms can sleep 16 and the two sleeper sofas with memory foam mattresses provide a total of 20 sleeping spaces. The five full bathrooms allows everyone to get ready without a wait. Unique to the area is off street parking for up to 10 vehicles. The main level has a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops that any chef is sure to enjoy. The dining room offers two large tables with seating for 20 so your entire family can dine together. The living room provides space for relaxing, reading or watching TV. If you prefer the outdoors, unwind on a rocking chair on the front porch or relax on the deck off the dining room to enjoy a beverage, snack or just do nothing at all. A bedroom with a king size bed, the living room sleeper sofa and full bathroom with two sinks is available for those that don’t want to venture to the other levels. The rec room has an open seating area with a queen sleeper sofa, bar seating for six and another sofa, plus a second kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator. There are two bedrooms one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, a full bathroom and laundry room complete this level. Available ONLY during the the "off season" months - October 1st thru April 30th. to relax and enjoy the cold weather. The Hot Tub is NOT available during summers months of May, June, July, August and September. This Hot Tub will be drained and locked during this time. it's Beach time... not Hot TUB Weather. CLEANING: We have implemented Airbnb/VRBO'S new 5 step cleaning protocols, these cleaning protocols based on CDC guidance and in consultation with experts in the fields of sanitization and medicine. *** POTENTIAL - Extra Cleaning Fee *** 2 days prior to your check out date, we will send you an email with a "check-out check list." This is to assist you in preparing the home for your departure. Due to our home having been previously left in extremely poor and dirty condition, our cleaners will charge us another $250 to have it properly cleaned and prepared for our next guests. So if your party is the type that just comes in and leaves without doing anything - then Costa del Sol is simply not for your group. Please understand, this is "our" home and we except you to treat it as if it were "your" home during your stay. We are sharing this experience with you and your group, and expect that you take care of our home. So, if the home is left in complete disarray, such that our cleaners charge us another $250 to clean. Then this extra charge will be passed on to your party and will be taken from your deposit. So please, clean up after yourselves and remember... you are responsible for your entire group and lastly - Please, please supervise your children. If your party will have more than 3 cars. Additional parking passes NEED to be purchased for an additional $25 per parking pass prior to arrival thru the owner. Payment will be taken thru Airbnb. So please, please always wear your wristbands. *** PARKING PASSES: 3 Parking Passes are included FREE with any reservation. The parking spots located in the driveway and in front of the Lakehouse. Additional cars need to park in the Overflow parking lots and also require Parking passes. These additional Parking Passes are $25.00 per pass. Parking is very difficult during the summer months and is strictly enforced. There is an illegal Parking Fee of $100 per incident that covers the following. "No Valid Parking Tag at home and/or the overflow Lots OR when parked in someone else's space, OR when parked more than 2 feet on the Street, in fire lanes or in an NO parking areas. DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR FEE: Beachwalk's Security team will be enforcing this rule. They are essentially looking for large parties, drunken behavior, etc This fee is $500 per incident. Collection of Violations: All of the above violations are charged directly to the Lakehouse. As the Home Owners, they are collected via our association dues. So, if the home is $1000 for wristband fraud, $500 for a party or any disruptive behavior, or for parking violations, or Golf Cart violation, these fines will be charged to the Renter and collected thru the Airbnb application. Arrival: One the day of your arrival, their will be Folder/Package on the Kitchen Island that will contain your Free Wristbands, your 3 free parking passes and additional information on the house. Amenities located Outside Beachwalk Resort: The main draw is access to Lake Michigan and Sheridan Beach. However, there is MUCH, MUCH more to see and do than just play at the beach. Walk 15 minutes from the resort, and you will find Washington Park with multiple playgrounds and a splash pad for the kids. The Park also has an outdoor amphitheater with live concerts for the family during the summer. There is also the Michigan City ZOO. The zoo exhibits more than 220 animals of 90 species originating throughout the world, including tigers and grizzly bears Don't feel like cooking, there are lots of restaurants and cafes within 3 miles - including a fantastic Steak house at the Blue Chip Casino. There is also the Lighthouse Premier Outlet Mall and Art District both located in Michigan City's downtown - a 5 minute drive from the resort.
