Heated Pool | Cooler Month Guidelines The pool heater can typically maintain the water temperature at approximately 20–25° above the outside air temperature. For example, if overnight lows are around 55°F, the pool may reach 75–80°F. Please note that during the cooler months (October–May, especially November–March), temperatures can drop quickly after sunset — even following warm, sunny days. Because of this, the pool may not feel as warm as expected during colder weather. To help maintain comfortable swimming temperatures, the pool cover must remain on whenever the pool is not in use. The cover prevents heat loss caused by evaporation, which is the primary reason pools cool down overnight. If left uncovered, the pool temperature can drop significantly and may not fully recover the next day. We require a minimum 3-day notice prior to arrival if you’d like the pool heated. Please note that pool heating must be reserved for the entire duration of your stay. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the best possible pool experience during your visit.
