The properties are surrounded by meadows which can at times grow to be tall. If you expect Kentucky Bluegrass at all times around the property, we may not be the best choice for you. We provide awesome outdoor winter amenities including tomahawk throwing, kayaks, canoe, fishing poles, ice auger, snow tubes, firewood, and more. Current Status Lake: Frozen 3-inches ... Be safe! Road Conditions: No restrictions Current Ice Fishing: AMAZING!!! 4 wheel drive might be needed as winter sets in! The space The cabin has 3 bedrooms. ** The Lakeview room has 2 king-sized beds and a full-size futon/sofa bed. ** The Yellowstone room has 1 full-size bed and a full-size futon/sofa bed. ** The bear room has 1 full-size bed. You will also have access to the living room, laundry, and kitchen are located. When it's time to eat feel free to cook in the kitchen. We have lots of pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. for you to use. You can also fire up the grill out on the deck to cook up some bbq. Wifi included! ---- WINTER INFO ---- The lake usually freezes in late October/ early November which is perfect timing for ice fishing. We do provide guests with an auger, basic fishing poles, and other fishing equipment to use while staying at the cabin. 4 Wheel Drive vehicles are encouraged in November! Snowmobile, snowshoe, and snow ski access only starting in December! Yellowstone closes the first week of November! Winter access into Yellowstone via snowmobile/snow coach tours starts December 15th! ---SUMMER INFO--- We do have 7 kayaks (4 adult-size, 2 kids-size, and 1 tandem), one canoe (sits up to 3 people), and 2 paddleboards. Lifejackets are required if you use our boats. You can also find the lifejackets in the garage. Be aware no lifegaurds are on duty ... boat and swim at your own risk! You can purchase a day license from the Drift Lodge about 10 minutes away or from WalMart in Rexburg which is a good place to do food shopping before you come up to the cabin. We have a tomahawk target and 5 throwing axes that guests can use. Who is the best tomahawk thrower in your group? Please use these at your own risk and supervise children at all times! Nestled in tall evergreens along the shores of Henry’s Lake Outlet you will find SunsetView Lakeside Retreat. Our home is conveniently located 25 minutes from West Yellowstone and across from Henry's Lake State Park. The property is unique in decor & sits stately on the banks of the outlet. The home is divided into 2 living quarters both with separate entrances. A canoe, 2 Paddleboards & 2 kayaks are also available at no cost. Enjoy your sojourn and treasure those memories for a lifetime. The space There are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is very large and has 2 queens, a twin and a couch. The other bedroom his comfortable with 2 Full beds. Everything you see in the pictures is generally everything you have access to. The grounds are shared with us but you can use all of it. Parking at the house is best with AWD/4WD. I have never had anyone have an issue but sudden heavy rains can mess up the road and make it bumpy. I have 2 spots up top where it is flat. It is amazing here and we want you to be comfortable. Guest access Guest will have access to their side of the home, private bbq, lower patio, and all remaining outside grounds. Guest will also be guaranteed 2 parking spots for primary vehicles. Other things to note I strive to make my guest welcome and comfortable. Although I could host twice as long in the season, I choose only to open my home 7 -8 weeks. I try to make it available the best time of the summer. If you are considering a longer stay, the lake offers up a days retreat from busy sight seeing. There are three bathrooms upstairs, one full bath with access in the common area, and the other half baths are in the two private queen bedrooms. The basement hosts a large bedroom with two individual queen beds and access to outside through an its very own door. Enjoy a game of pool on the basement pool table while you soak in the scenery of the lake, just outside the large windows. The large master bedroom is located on the main level of the cabin with a large comfortable king-sized bed. Down the hall is a large full-size bathroom with two sinks for your convenience. The expansive kitchen on the main level is big enough for the entire group and has everything you might need to be your own chef. The large island and kitchen table provide plenty of seating to enjoy a home cooked meal or to simply gather. You can’t beat the panoramic views out the back deck. Summer Pines has two acres of undisturbed lake front sights that can be absorbed from the large back deck just out from the dining area and kitchen. The extensive outdoor space is perfect for family gatherings on the decks or around the outdoor fire pit. 4WD is recommended. The space The ground floor of this two story home has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Upon entering through the front door, you'll be greeted by a massive custom fireplace at the heart of a large living room and a newly remodeled kitchen. Beyond the kitchen, you'll find two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom features a king bed and private access to the back deck with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, a wardrobe, and beautiful views. Upstairs in the spacious loft, are two twin bunk beds, a foosball table, and a secondary living room, making it an ideal spot for the kids to play games. The loft also has two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed and a beautiful view from the window. The second bedroom, located at the back of the house, offers a breathtaking view of Henry's Lake, a king bed, a rocking chair, and a crib. Guest access To reach the home, you'll need to pass through three separate gates. Please ensure you close all gates behind you to prevent livestock from escaping. Guests will have access to the main house and the fenced yard, but the barn on the property is off-limits. Other things to note Various animals roam around the house, such as moose, elk, deer, and bears. Please DO NOT approach wild animals, as they may attack if they feel threatened. Always maintain a safe distance and carry bear spray. Shooting, hunting, and fireworks are NOT allowed on the property. Additionally, there is no air conditioning. Be sure to plan a day trip to Yellowstone National Park during your stay at Henry's Hideaway. There are countless incredible sights to see such as active geysers, waterfalls, thermal features, wildlife and stunning scenery. This cabin is situated on the property, so that your views are woodsy and relaxing. Moose spotted often in the spring. You have access to the river for fishing, swimming, floating. Our property has been in the family for nearly a century, so it is private land with limited access, but our guests are free to roam. The cabin itself was refurbished from an older cabin, with much of the barn wood salvaged from an old lodge previouly located 2 miles N of our area. We hope you enjoy your stay. Lakefront Cabin w/ Private Dock & Hot Tub

Enjoy a fun family cabin near the West entrance of Yellowstone National Part and the fun town of West Yellowstone. The cabin is on a wooded acre of land for fun outside play that includes a horseshoe pits, outdoor games, firepit and picnic seating area. Inside has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Perfect location for reunions or a fun get away with family and friends. The space The cabin has 5 bedrooms. Four rooms have either a queen or double bed. The 5th bedroom is a large loft that has 4 single beds and one double bed. We have found that kids love to stay together in the loft and can be heard giggling and talking for hours. The cabin has a pack and play and highchair in case you are bringing an infant. The laundry room is equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board and some provided detergent. The kitchen has everything you should need to prepare meals. There is a griddle, crock pot (two sizes), blender, coffee pot, hand mixer and toaster. There are full sets of pots and pans along with mixing and serving bowls. There are dishes and utensils to serve 14 along with serving utensils. There is also a propane BBQ grill out on the front deck. For entertainment, there is a Roku TV in the family room as well as a DVD player. There is also a Roku TV in the main downstairs bedroom. You will be able to log into your own streaming channels. There is a game closet with games, puzzles and children's toys in case of inclement weather or if you choose to spend a day around the cabin. Outside fun including a horse shoe pit, corn hole set, badminton set and miscellaneous outdoor games. The fire pit on the property is for your enjoyment along with a outdoor picnic tables and a sitting area. There are a few roasting sticks provided but firewood is not provided. You can purchased firewood locally at gas stations and the small local market. Guest access The cabin is located on a dirt road three miles back into the trees from highway 20. Cars can be parked in the driveway at the cabin. If you have more than 5 cars, there is a parking area at the beginning of the dirt road. Other things to note There are squirrels and chipmunks at the cabin who love to eat peanuts. We will leave you a jar of peanuts in shells you can put along the top railing of the front porch. It is fun to watch them gather the nuts through the big windows in the family room. There are also birds of many varieties in Island Park. We have multiple bird feeders hanging in front of the cabin. There are bird books available to you so you can discover the many different species. From time to time we have seen fox, deer, antelope, elk, bald eagles and occasionally a moose wonder through the yard.
