If you want modern, do not come here. If you can't handle not having a flat screen, do not come here. If you want a lot of unplugging from 2026 and a great price for the space (over 3000 sq ft), then we are it! Please note that we have an older home. If you have allergies, this might not be your place to stay... we host people with dogs and we have a parrot the comes with us when we are here. If you want a place to chill and relax, we are it! We do have wifi. The pool is in the private fenced backyard. It is completely yours during your stay. If you can't handle a little dust and an older house where we are constantly doing maintenance, but there might be things that aren't perfect...do not come here. We have poker chips, cards, ping pong, a set of drums, pool table, foosball, a pool, air hockey, a couple of guitars that may or may not have all the strings(we try though!) a microphone and amplifier, a huge amount of space, a covered deck, a fenced back yard, and an 70's intercom system that can blast music from the radio throughout the house! ****I have looked through listings in Chattanooga. There are quite a lot more now than when we started...I can tell you, our house is in a good neighborhood. We always have plenty of towels, blankets, linens, and extras...home is a very good deal for what you are getting. Please be mindful when booking! We try to put as much as we can for a trip back into the 70s in our home. The home is an OLDER home. The items in the home are comfortable. It is a 3200+ square foot home with a private pool and no one else on the property during your stay and a bunch of things to do. Once again - The home is situated in a GOOD neighborhood (It is not a home we purchased to have an airbnb, it is a previous family home that we had previously rented out but decided to go with airbnb) with lots to do and privacy. Please do NOT book my place if you are going to say "My kids and I had a great time, but the mattress was uncomfortable so I'm going to give you 3 stars." There are so many listings with new things, but we have a theme and a crazy unique house! If you want new, go to the other houses. Disco Downstairs with the operating disco ball ... crazy lighting, amp for your music ... Have fun with your family. Pretend like you are in the 70's. Get away from 2026 for a while! There is a fully stocked kitchen, a sun room and a living room. It also has a huge back yard for pups to play in. There is a golf course seconds away from the house if your a golfer like myself. The house is also about 15 min drive from Downtown, Chattanooga. With so much to do in this town, you will enjoy coming back to this ranch home to unwind or grill some burgers in the back patio. Dirty dishes can be left in sink or placed in dishwasher. We will run it when it’s time to clean. If you have a pet, please make sure they are leashed when let out to back yard. The backyard is fenced in but there are still areas, if they’re small enough, where they can escape. Just watch for that :) Garage houses lawn equipment and laundry, so it’s not suitable for children or pets. Please use carport for parking and no more than 3 cars parked at the house at any given time. No parties of any kind. No loud music. Rental is the entire basement with 2 bed rooms a jacuzzi bathroom, rec room with tv and walkout basement, laundry room available if requested . Private from second floor. There is a back patio area with semi fenced in yard you have access too. Dogs are welcome if notified in advance as I have dogs in the property as well. The space You will be renting out the basement to our home. There are 2 full bedrooms with a bathroom with a jacuzzi only. There is a hand held shower. Laundry room is available if needed. Large common area with tv and dvds, back patio with semi fenced in yard as well. Other things to note This is a quiet neighborhood and I will not allow parties or loudness after reasonable hours. This adorable place is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the airport and 15 to downtown Chattanooga! The space The carriage house is a detached apartment space behind our family home. We are typically close by so that if you need anything we are only a text away. Guest access We have a circle drive that goes around the house accessing the rental space. The beginning of the driveway is bumpy, so if your vehicle has low clearance you will want to park on Woodmore Place right past the mailbox. If you want to park in the driveway, feel free to pull into the grass on the right side of the garage beside the HVAC.
