The hot tub (guests ages 12+ welcome, ages 5+ need to be supervised, no kids under 5) and patio seating are right there, adding to the open feeling. The hallway leads to three bedrooms. We’re about 30 minutes from Yosemite’s South Gate tunnel view entrance. (Traffic can slow this time down) 15 Minutes to Bass Lake. Our home is spacious enough for large families, yet it still maintains a cozy vibe. We feel cleanliness is extremely important, as well as a well-stocked house. You'll enjoy games, sitting areas, a chef's kitchen, laundry facilities, & large TVs. The home includes: central heating and cooling, 55 inch flat screen TV, pots and pans and utensils for preparing meals ( Note: we try our very best to keep items such as coffee, salt/pepper, or oil, on hand but can not guarantee. If unavailable, these can easily be purchased, 5 minute drive away, at local grocery store ) Living room has high vaulted ceilings and a warm comfortable decor with cozy seating. Fooseball and board games will keep family and friends entertained. Hot tub is great after a day of exploring the park. Enjoy two brand-new redwood decks, a flat yard with a lawn leading to the creek, and an above-ground pool for endless fun and exploration. The space Because this is an above-ground pool, it's a bit different from an in-ground setup. The filtration systems in above-ground pools are typically smaller and can be more sensitive to everyday use. It’s normal for the water not to be perfectly crystal clear, especially while the pool is in active use. Every time the pool is used, there’s a possibility for cloudiness due to a few common factors: splashing out water, lotions, detergents on swimwear (which can lower the water level and disrupt chemical balance as well as the pump function), unbalancing of chlorine or pH levels, or even early signs of algae growth. These conditions are manageable. For this reason, after every guest checkout, we fully service the pool: rebalancing the chemicals, checking for any signs of algae, and ensuring the water level is topped off. This helps keep the pool safe and enjoyable for each new guest. Because of these sensitivities we are happy to have maintenance come out during stays to help rebalance midstay. The space This newly remodeled, 1,960 square foot property, which can fit 6-8 people, boasts a private entrance gate on a paved driveway and a two-car awning. Upon entry via the smart lock, you will find a high vaulted ceiling in the living room with a 65” smart TV, deep couches perfect for cozying up under a blanket. The kitchen is fully equipped should you plan to cook and dine in as Oakhurst provides a few grocery stores. Here everyone gets a “room with a view.” The large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom has a queen size bed and two sliding glass doors for convenient access to the front yard’s romantic mountain views and the backyard’s entertaining area. The second bedroom hosts a queen size bed and bay windows which look out into the mountain valley, gets the most amazing morning sun. The third bedroom is perfect for single sleepers or children with its two low-profile full-sized beds, and of course the gorgeous mountain view from the bay windows. Entertain yourselves in the GAME ROOM while playing pool, Foosball, or darts with bar seating and comfy chairs. Stream to your heart’s desire on the 55” smart TV. There is extreme fire danger. County ordinance does not allow guests to bring their own fire pit or BBQ. This property is in the mountains which have an ecosystem of wildlife. While we do have regular pest control service, there will be native insects such as spiders, millipedes, beetles, etc. Common wildlife is deer, turkey, and other little critters. Please note that while not often encountered, scorpions, bears and mountain lions are part of the habitat. THERE ARE BEARS HERE! Do not leave food or garbage outside or in your car. Chains are sometimes required to travel to the Yosemite area during the snow season. Oakhurst is a quaint mountain town in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Yosemite.
